The look of car does not surprise you at first but its clean and simple. When you drive it you can feel that German engineering and handling which is impressive for a car of this size and price. You can reach 0- 100 kmph in about 10 seconds and when you hit that accelerator you can feel that shove in the seat. The DSG gear box is smooth most of the times and very responsive. The car built quality and ride quality is better than its competitors. The servicing and complaint handling is where Volkswagen needs to work more. I have had some problems with car headlight, stereo system and windshield glass automatic cracking and the complaints were not handled as they should have been. I have driven this car now around 40000 kms in last 2 years. Except for few minor improvements I think its a good deal and driver friendly car. Major pros and cons of the car: 1. Pros -Car handling -Smooth DSG gearbox -Responsive Engine -High Quality Interior -Stability at high speeds 2. Cons -Upper headlight alignment is poor for night driving -less spacious as compared to its competitors -Loud Engine noise outside car -Customer service handling.

Exteior is very nice , paint quality good, ground clearance is ok,head lights are vety good  good beam.

Rear leg room is very less, cant sit 3 adult passanger comfirtable, rear ac vent is very uncomfirtable for middle passanger for long distance , windshield wiper bonnet gap is there stuck tree leafs.

Engine is bit noisey rattles like tractor but cabin is well insulated you cant feel noise inside. auto gear box is just superb , slight jurk is feeling during 2nd to 3rd shift but its ok.

Ride Quality is superb, suspention is slightly harder you can feel jumps vibrations of concrete road. front suspention sudden release impact noise feel is there sometimes.

Very nice sedan good value for money.

Engine rattling noise to be improve like DDis swift engine. Maintanance cost of spares keep low like maruri, as per previous customer complaints they blame to replace fuel injector because of bad fuel quality if you complaint noise of engine ?  Service centers must be increase. Affter sales is very bad. increase number of dealer ships in city as well as small towns.

Exterior is very good, paint quality is nice, good fuel economy 16 km in city, 19 at highway, handliRear leg space low, front suspension noise while small patch holes

The buying experience was smooth. Dsg gear box is awesome and good performance. The only problem in back seat space is low. Service centres are good compared to earlier days. Service. Harvest are average of 10 to 11k per year. I have completed 2 years. City it give 9 to 14 according to traffic and highway it gives 18 to 25.

Buying : I brought ameo highline DSG from landmark automobile appx 16 months back Riding and performance Driven 43 thousand km in 16 months This machine has great power in its segment, Handling is superb, Tyre shall be more wider along with little greater ground clearance, suspension has very rigid setup which makes difficult to handle potholes Looks Asthetics is good from out side and Looks same as polo but shall be offered little wider and highted, interior has very mature and contemporary design far ahead from what competitors offers Service has good schedule 15km a year cost effective if you compare maruti swift LDI (need to take her twice in 15 k km) which i drive (considering basic services cost and incentive based jobs which service advisor insist strongly) only interim service shall be revoked as service center appointment period is longer and lesser availability of same Good : Performance Bad : internal size, back seat is very uncomfortable which nullifies all good.

The car has ultimate built i drive the car at high speed the car is very comfortable . Stering has good feedback while driving in high speed very stable on high speed i push the car to 150 i did not loose any confidace i love the car interior plastic is very good the feels of cabin is great .

Writing this after riding for 2 years 17000 KM in Ameo. Great car, DSG automatic diesel ridding experience is awesome, smooth drive no indication of gear changes while driving, breaking efficiency is excellent, balance is good, great power with 1500 CC engine. Mileage Observations: Heavy traffic (gear 1 to 3) - 11Kmpl Moderate traffic (gears 2-5) - 16Kmpl Highway conditionss (gear 6-7) - 22Kmpl Few times I got 26kmpl aswell on cruise control. Only Con is less rear leg room.

Very good car and I can say value for money. Value for money because I bought Highline AT in the price of Suzuki Dzire AT price. Superb DSG gear box in Ameo Connect. Getting mileage of 17+ in city and got up to 24.7 km/l on highway with average of 20+ km/l on highway. It’s enjoying of using sports mode on Hill areas. Suspension and breaking are really superb on high speeds. Worth buying. Regarding services it’s 10k Rs approx for 15k km. Almost same for other brands as other’s provide service in 5-6k Rs at 10k km. Only one drawback I can tell is Headlamps could be more better. Choice is yours. Definitely FUN TO DRIVE CAR.
