A Surprisingly Great Compact Sedan

This is surprisingly refined and fun to drive a car. I bought this car after comparing the Amaze, Ameo, Verna and Dezire, and have driven 15000 km in 16 months. On the highway, the car gave me a mileage of 20.8 with the engine running over 1200 km. the engine is very refined and responsive. the power delivery is smooth through the entire RPM range and the gearing well thought out. I achieved a sustained top speed of 155 kmph (GPS indication 152), with the car over-speed warning cutting in above 155, but the engine did not run out of breath or showing stress. The interiors are comfortable with ample head & leg room for all four occupants. The outstanding quality was the ride quality and handling. the handling was extremely precise, the steering responsive with excellent road holding and cornering. the ride quality was very polished and the car gives the feel of higher segment car. Drawbacks: The entertainment system is pedestrian, no Android Auto or Apple Car-Play support. the 'A' Pillar is slightly large and obtrusive. the ConnectNext (Tata in the house) App is really poorly designed and dysfunctional. Other than these minor flaws, it's a smashingly good car and tremendous value for money. The faults listed above have been largely addressed (I believe) in the 2020 model. I am planning to buy another Tigor for my wife - its honestly that good!!
