I bought Honda Amaze 1.2 S CVT in Jan 2023. I have driven few thousand KMs. Based on that le me summarize the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Exterior & Interior looks are great Cons: 1. Poor mileage of 11 in the city and 15 on highways if you drive in Eco mode 2. Average build quality with rusting issues in first six months of usage. 3. CVT design is faulty as accelerator will not give you the desired speed. It will pickup slowly and steadily making noise if you press the accelerator hard. Its not meant for driving uphill. 4. Visibility during night is low due to cheap parts inside headlight. Modification is must 5. Driver seating is very uncomfortable for long drive but manageable if you want to drive 20-30 KMs at a stretch. 6. Horn has got special feature to avoid noise pollution and it stops working if you press it continuously for 3 seconds i.e. you need to press and release again and again. It's awesome I have driven it 13-14 hrs. continuously on mountains, highway etc. multiple times. no complaints Great comfort Good road presence Good pickup It's very easy on the pocket in terms of maintenance. I love the car but in bumper to bumper traffic in the city the car drinks petrol. So I fitted a CNG. Now on highways it gives a mileage up to 35 km/kg. I am loving it.
