I have purchased nexon xm petrol model few months ago and i have done 8000 km approx. The car is very good. It is giving me a average of city - 15, highway - 19-22 depending on the driving condition. I got a good discount from the dealer. The performance of the engine is best in the sports mode as in the other two modes the engine lags. The service of the car is also not expensive and tata has a great servicing network in whole country.The best thing is the ground clearance of the vehicle you don't need to worry about the potholes Pros Looks Build quality Average Siting comfort Ground clearance Sitting height Cons No dimming orvm Engine sound is loud in petrol also Gearbox is notchy

Nice car great exteriors and interiors console and dashboard is very good. it is giving the feel of jaguar. Seats are very comfortable. Back seats get folded giving you enough space when required. glove box is too spacious with light in it. Boot space is also good.

I am a new car user and was wondering whether a compact SUV should be my first car, giving the price, fuel economy, controls etc of the car and also given my relatively new acquired skill of driving :) So all my driving including learning has happened via nexon and to be honest the process has been a breeze. Handling is superb, so is the engine's response. Fuel economy is a little lacking in city driving ( around 12km/L) though touches 18km/L in highways at cruising speeds of 90-100km/L. Lastly the music system and AC are top notch. If you are a new buyer and confused between plethora of options in this segment, without a doubt go for nexon!

Hi Guys, This is my first review for any car although i have driven and owned many of them. Any this car is worth writing a review for. To begin with , an Indian car getting a 5 Star rating in itself is an achievement in itself as we all know how compromised safety standards in India are (or used to be). My first motivator towards buying the car was the safety rating along with the looks. This car looks very much the part. In fact , it looks almost ahead of its time and way ahead of its competition in its style and pep. Full marks to TATA for coming up with such an awesome design. Coming to the performance , the petrol version is smooth to ride , the cabin space is ample and sound system quite good. Not going into the technical specs as i am not very much well versed with them but the overall feel of the car is pretty good and you would never regret buying it. Some teething issues however remain. The TATA dealership staff is still old school and modern cars like NEXON and HARRIER deserve better front office staff. The plastic quality in the Nexon in some places feels a little sub-standard. My car makes a nagging sound while running due to some fitting issues of the roof mat. I have to adjust the mat by had while running to get rid of the noise. The fuel economy is barely 10KMPL for petrol so that remains an issue. Overall though , the car deserves a lot of applause as its value-for-money quotient and makes you feel good as a MAKE-IN-INDIA product. Surely the way to go for Indian carmakers. One of the best things that make you happy is that its a homegrown product. A big thumbs up to TATA for that.
