Exterior
I like the best looks of the front,it's massive having the feeling of a massive car.Tail lamps are not so good,but it's always better and gives good visibility for the people driving at our back,especially lorry drivers who can see the tail lamps blinking at their height. It's tall car and getting in and out is easy.Especially for a tall guy like me also the high seats when compared to other hatches it's great.I was wondering before buying this car comparing with figo that it has flexible bumpers,but it was not stated in vista,but actually it too has flexible bumpers,doesn't get damaged in our heavy traffic.Infact i once had a small impact but there was no damage on the bumper. It's a heavy car and can be felt from the weight of the bonnet. I just love it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
I like the most spacious interiors,it's loaded with feautures,but still as i stated the colour combination if it were been chosen wisely by tata it would never have been felt like others say 'cheap'. But i would never say at any point that for this price any manufactures would give these features except for the new competitor Ford. The seat belt warning,automatic door locks getting activated after 10kmph,and the theatre dimming light all makes it feel luxurious. The best part is i like the design of this steering wheel in this aura plus variant. Ther's load's of space everywhere.The visibility at the front is a question,becoz i am not able to look the front ends of the car.but nowadays it's getting very common in today's car's becoz of their european styling and pedestrian safety and things like that.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
It's been just 600kms.no noise inside the cabin,but definitely i feel the difference between the old vista's and my new drivetech vista,gear shift is not so much but still better than the earlier vista.Engine is power hub after the turbo kicks at 1750.but earlier shifting on 4th and 5th at 1000 rpm would make it bit hard to react on the highways.But on the whole it's great car. it's very easy to drive even in the city.While sitting inside i feel it's a big car but while driving it's very easy.
Ride Quality & Handling
The best part. Didn't even feel a bit of road irregularity inside the cabin except for the sound of the road thud,tat's all. I heard of the body roll,but i took some good turns at 75 to 80kmph,but didn't feel much,may be i dont know they hav made some changes to the suspension setup of drivetech4,not sure. On the whole i am satisfied.
Final Words
The best car for the budget ppl and for those who want best comfort equivalent to higher models and more features.but i think may be on the handling side not still upto the mark of the swift but the drivetech4 version is much better to the earlier vista. But for me it's a gem of a car.i am beggining to love it.Initially was worried about many ppl sayin abt bad experiences of the service and dealers,but i didn't feel anything like that after my first free service.
Areas of improvement
the underneath botton sheetmetal part used for lifting the car using the jack looks awkward,not in good shape. Could incorporate or provide 195 section tires for high end variants just like fiat and VW.
Top end features,space,comfortbeige interiors could have been of different combination
