Skoda Rapid Ambition 1.6 MPI MT Plus Review

I have Skoda Rapid Ambition 1.6 MPI MT plus for the past 8 months. Majorly I like all 4 anti pinch relay windows. Rear AC Vent. Rain Sensing Viper.

What dissapoint me a lot is its braking. I dont know if there is EBD associated with ABS or not. Or if there is any ABS.

But one can manage with such things for a new car. I bought this car because of budget constraint. What one cant manage about this is its recurring engine level and machinery level issues. Here I would like to say what works for me in Rapid and what didnt. Let me categorize the same as below:

Exterior OK Type, decent but flat looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Average. Meter unit seems driven from 80s car, Inbuilt music system is also oldest among its category.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox First 5000 kms: Very good, Deterioting after that. Known issues like overheating, wheel alignment, Chasis issue and worst of all after sale service.

Ride Quality & Handling Average.. not the best in class.. one can use this car upto 20-25k kms..

Final Words If someone has cost issue then go for Rapid. Otherwise look for other options like Honda, new SX4 etc. If someone is not a brand crazy then he may also go for Linea. But i will not recommend Rapid to anyone.

Areas of improvement Give a permanent fix for all known issues. Improve A.S.S.
