When Nissan Micra was launched sometime in June,2010, we were just looking for that level of car & coincidentally we got chance to take a trial of Nissan Micra. The features of the car were amazing (Size & rate sector) & so booked the vehicle. After many pursuance we got the vehicle in August,2010 (Pursuance as it was a new vehicle & had initial demand).
It is a very easy vehicle to drive & fun to drive on highways & in the city as it has a good turning. The grip on highway is very good and so very comfortable driving at the speed above 80Km. The feauture of key less operations are excellend. Climate control & other features of air conditioning are excellent(We have yet to check the real handling summer when Ahmedabad temperature touches 45C). Seating comfort is also good.
Now the bad part. We hardly expected compromise on quality & service from Nissan. The car had noise while breaking. The average is really poor below 14Kmpl while claiming above 18Kmpl. And the worst thing is service. My car has already gone three times for the same problem of break noise it has not been sorted out. My first service has also been a bad experience with washing not done properly,not cleaned from inside. Filters changed but the old filters were not given back. They are not committal about the average. Being 3 cylinder the engine noise is also very high,it is like a diesel vehicle. In all it is not a complete car.
Being faceless companies only thing missing is `Human Touch’. Whom to complain, where to complain. Only Email, where we get complain numbers which are never followed up by company.
They say `Drive simpler, Live better’.
I say `Driving me crazy & live tough handing Nissan people.’
