Guys,
i own a Dzire petrol variant. I was one of the person who got the car rolled out at trivandrum within 2 weeks of the launch date. I had been hinking of buying a car for over a year with my limited budget of upto 6 lakhs, when i saw this car getting launched into the market. Since i had to get a car ASAP i never looked back and decided to take a chance with this one. But this one was beyond my expectations of a good car.
The pros being
a) Very spacious: The car is as spacious available in the C segment and infact the back seat being more comfortable than my SX4 when travellin with 5
b) Good comfort: Unlike the swift the car is more stable and doesnt transmits the bumps to the passengers
c) Good AC
d) The gear shifts are sporty: This one has been picked from the SX4, the shifts are more sporty with very short movements
e) a very good car available at a cheap rate
f) Very stable: Just like SX4 the car is very stable while going at high speeds, it stays always on the road
The only con which i have felt is its
.a) Ride view- since i like a commanding drive position this one doesnt suit me , atleast i wish i had got the one which is available in a SX4
b) Thin tyres: This is a great flaw in the looks of the car, as the car as such is huge but its like staying on a thin tyre.
Open discussion :
a) Economy
Of course i cant expect a 18K from my petrol variant, but when compared to the diesel sibling its very less. I usually get a 13 in the city and a 15(city+ highway(being more)).Also the petrol costs are higher.
Overall: This car is a good buy.
Good Style, ride comfort, large boot, good value for money, stableride view, Thin tyres
