      Its ride is easy,Awesome Value for money..........mine is aSwift Dzire Vxi

      DZire offers customers the prestige associated with a sedan, while retaining the famed performance of the Swift hatch back.

      1. Pickup: Was very good, and the response from the Engine was superb, no noise and it was quite smooth, the performance i felt was almost the same as the Swift petrol. And there was a minimal or negligible drop in performance after the AC is 
      switched on.

      2. Brakes: Very precise and accurate, i heard there was some issue with the brakes in Dzire, i didnt experienced it, may be as and when i clock more Kms, i may come to know, but at present the brakes are fantastic.

      3. Gear Shift: Was very smooth and the gears slotted in very well, the only problem i encountered was that the 5th & the Reverse gears were a bit hard, will it get solved after running more Kms, or do i need to bring it into the dealers notice, please 
      advise??

      4. Stability & Ride Quality: At the speed of 80 Kmph(is the max is stretched it, as it is in running in period) the vehicle was very much planted and felt very stable, and on the patchy roads of Mumbai, the suspension handled the potholes with aplomb, so 
      satisfied on that front.

      5. AC: Cooled the Cabin very quickly, the Fan Speed was on 2, and after sometime, i lowered the fan speed to 1.

      6. Rear seat Comfort: The angle of inclination for the back seat is different on the Dzire as compared to swift, so it gives a bit more thigh support and the rear seat felt quite comfortable, though the legroom is same as the swift, wished they would have 
      increased the wheelbase to create more legroom at the rear.

      Styling of the Vehicle (Exterior & Interior):
      ===========================

      1. Exterior: The best part of the Vehicle is the Rear styling, it is awesome and looks very good, i love the peeled off look of the tails lamps and raised part of the boot, earlier when i saw the pictures, i thought it is ugly ) (personal opinion).

      The chrome grill in the front looks great and gives the vehicle a feeling of a high segment vehicle (personal opinion).

      All in all the Exterior styling is great and looks pleasing to my eyes, wished they would have changed the front part also just to give it a distintinctive look from the swift.

      Fog Lamps are a Nice touch, Kelyess entry is a very good feature.

      2. Interior: It is the same as swift, the difference is that it has a Integrated Stereo system with 2 Speakers in front and 2 in the rear tray which houses the high mounted stop lamp.

      The instrument Cluster is white lit & Chrome surroundings look pleasing to the eyes. Bottle holder pocket in the rear doors, cup holders etc. are the useful touches which they have provided.

      The Steering Wheel is Small and Sporty and gives a good feeback and is precise as far the steering feedback is concerned. The Dashboard looks nice, it is same as the swift, wish they could have used the dashboard space well and also the glove could have been a bit spacious, it seems to be small.

      The Center Armrest is a very useful feature which they have provided, when there are only twon occupants then it is very useful, and if there are three occupants in the rear then you can fold it up and the best part it dosent protrude for the third person in the middle, like it does in the SX4 (no offence meant for the SX4 owners).

      All in all a great value for money vehicle within this price range and the feature which it provides. some good service backup from tried and test maruti, i own a maruti 800 already, so on the service point of view i can say that.

      Accessories which i installed:

      1. Steering wheel cover.
      2. Floor Mat set.


      Some of the Cons are mentioned below, which felt can be improved: (Personal opinion)

      1. Quality of plasitcs on the Dashboard, Interior door trims & the Front Grill, you can press it by hand and it feels flexible.

      2. Gear Shift 5th & Reverse is not smooth, may be it gets smoother as i clock more Kms.

      3. Rear Visibility is limited due to the high boot (Planning to get the reverse parking sensors installed), experts please suggest the make if any specific, also while installing does the installation tampers the wiring, as it may have the warranty void, please
      suggest.


      Good Value for money,most bang for the bucklooks like a swift hatchback in front and SX4 in back

      Hi,
      I got my Dzire VXI (Azure Grey) on 9th Aug 2009. It is my first car and very much satisfied with its performance on the whole. Recently when we went to beach the front tyres were struck in the sand and I had to reverse with high accelaration and observed smoke and burning smell from the engine. I took to the dealer and the supervisor told me that I would have accidentally thumped both clutch & accelarator asynchronously which damaged clutch plates to a little bit and this caused the smoke and burning smell as metal-metal contact happened. The replacement of the clutch is not covered under warranty and need to be born by me :(. It just covered 250kms and not sure the issue was because of the poor clutch plates or it is my fault. Does anyone faced the same problem ? I'm new to driving 4 wheeler and any tips are appreciated :) Thanks in advance & enjoy the riding !!

      Exterior: Most people cringe at the first sight of the Dzire, but there is more to the car than meets the eye. Once you show them the humongous boot, the acceptance is better. From the rear 3-quarters. it is not a bad looking car at all.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Get inside the drivers seat and one will be at once comfortable with the seat position, the view, the gearshift etc. The interior fit and finish is generally blemish-free. The rear seat is very comfortable for 2 adults, but 3 medium sized people is not a big squeeze. The various controls are easy to reach, although electric mirror adjustment would help. Airconditioning and audio system are quite adequate for daily needs. The boot is massive and can (if filled intelligently) swallow lot of space. In fact, a well filled trunk also contributes to the stability on long journeys, as I discovered recently.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is very well refined for a diesel, and first-timers are often hardpressed to confirm if it is petrol or a diesel. The gearshift is very precise, except that the reverse gear sometimes doesnt 'slot-in' perfectly. 2200rpm to 3000 rpm is the golden band for the car, and it feels like a jet on a take off run.One actually needs to be careful not to rev the car too quickly because it can shoot past 80kph in fourth gear, and the turbo can be very addictive-so need to be careful in the city areas. Fuel economy is around19 to 20 kmpl.

      Ride Quality & Handling The car is best driven sedately, and the steering gives a rather instantaneous feedback, which may not be ideal at high speeds. This is not very well supported by the 165/80 tyres on the L& V versions. The car has a tendency to oscillate upon sudden braking . This tendency reduces considerably if it is well occupied with luggage.

       Braking is quite sharp.

      Final Words

      May not be the best looking car, but is the most practical, VFM entry level sedan. There is no compromise on performance, space is adequate for a family of 4 (or Parents+Grandparents+1 kid), Boot is , well designed for the Indian family. In other words, the perfect family sedan.

      Exterior It is amazing. and i like it. it has very diffrent looks and very nice. everyone like it and as u know the result of market, i does'nt need to say more because of it's market share in a very short period of time.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good... all the features of this car has it's strengths and these make it different to other cars of this segment. it has so much space. and very comfortable car. you will come to know when u will drive the car.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is excellent.. i shall call it that there is no other competitive in this segment of this car. i m lovi'n it. and if u want to know more about this, then u will have to drive the car and you will say that realy i was not telling a lie.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Very good while driving the car. it provides very comfortness. realy it has extra value of money, i will say.

       

      Final Words Ultimate dream car of mine...

       

      Areas of improvement I don't think that it need the changes but if the co. do so then it will definitly be mind blowing...

      AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THEY ARE JUST CALLING GIVING ALL ASSURANCE ABOUT DELEVARY OF DATE AND ALL...

      BUT NOW IF WE ARE SHOWING THEIR WORD WHICH NOT VALU FOR THEM THEN THEY ARE SAYING TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH INTREST AS I HAVE BOOKED WITH 51000/--

      SO NO VALUE FOR THEIR WORD AS  WELL AS I AM WAITING SINCE LAST 3MONTHS NO VALUE........

      I have purchased Swift DZire LXi after much screening in 2010 and could get delivery after almost 2 months on 21st July,2010. I opted for Lxi as my daily usage could be limited and I had SONY CD player with Explode speekers of my old car.

      Exteriors have been good and interiors are comfortable. Engine performance is excellent. Gearbox works fine.Even the city drive gives a feel of Makkhan on good roads. Till date of writing this review i.e. 7th Sept., 2011 I have completed 12950 Kms in different conditions. Three services are completed. I have made  1 visit to Baroda ( Mumbai to Baroda Approx 420 KM  ) , 2 visits to Parli / Ambejogai ( ahead of Ahmed Nagar : One way Distance approx 480 km ) , 4 visits to Konkan area ( one way apprx. 350 km ) and many visits Mumbai to Pune and back ( To and Fro distance 380 - 390 km). Many of these were during mansoon. It has been a very comforatble driving experience. Even after driving 450km + at a stretch in a day and over 1000km in 2 or 3 days, at my age of 49 years, I do not feel tired . Before purchasing this car, I had not driven like this. There had been a gap of 3 years in driving. But from day one, I feel very much comfortable. I have touched max 160 on Mumbai Pune express way while driving along with 3 family members and during this 13 months driving experience, I rarely rememebr anybody surpassing me on highways. I was at ease in ghats in konkan areas as well.

      I get milage of 11.25km in Mumbai local drive and approx 13.40 km in outstation drives. Imrovement in milage is always desirable. My brother who has been daily driving res to office and back  for over 20 years ( and has used three different cars ) also appreciates the Dzire as Excellent.

      Final Words Excellent car from Maruti : good for Indian roads and long drive is pleasing experience.

      I have clocked up 1,400 KMs on my Swift Dzire. Yesterday, driving up a very steep mountain hill, the engine lost power, stalling and after several attempts I finally got the car moving and into a side lane. With smoke coming from the engine. I called the dealership. They sent someone, who said the clutch was gone. I asked why. He replied BAD DRIVING. I am so angry at their lack of care or concern. The car showed no sign of problem before this happened, there was no indication that the clutch was slipping at all. Gear changes had been very smooth and I was enjoying driving it (I have driven manual cars for over 25 years) Now, from another reviewer I read that there were faulty clutches installed in 2008 models and these were not recalled. Shame on them.

      The section of road the car stalled on was very dangerous and they take no responsibility for what happened. Shame on them.

      And they tell me the clutch isnt covered by warranty. I asked them to bring a tow truck, instead they brought a man who drove it back to the dealership (some one hour distant)

      The look of the car, brandname and approachable service are the key factors that has fascinated me. Had test drive of Swift Dzire - VXi and enjoyed it. Smooth running, good pick up, excellent manuoverability are some the factors worth  mentioning. But the factors that prick are-

       - Backward extension of cup/bottle holder beteen two front seats tells upon the comfort of the person sitting at the middle of the back seat.

      - Low mileage

      - No facility of adjustable steering and font seat.

      - No USB port on music player

      Hope, Maruti Udyog  must take a note of it. as I am on the verge purchasing a car, I doubt that my suggestion would benefit me. Nevertheless I am hopeful of an early analysis of my suggestion by Maruti Udyog.

      I think my suggestion, if tested and found implementable should be duly rewarded.

      I was delivered my car much earlier than expected. Although dealer (Jay Bee in Dibrugarh) had said that the waiting period was for 3 months, I got the car home delivered in 15 days. I appreciate the sales division of the dealer.

      The car is very good and I am happy with its performance. The ride is comfortable and the driving is a pleasure. The car has great pick up and a/c is very powerful. It has a very big boot space. I am very much happy with my car.

       Poor rear visibility, requir sensor while driving in reverse

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Less front leg room, overall colour of interior is not good in VDi, otherwise all features are there for comfort in this much amount, that you will not get in other brand. AC and stereo are also good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Difficult gera transmission in reverse initially, Not happy with suspension, poor road grip beyond 120km speed due to less tyre width in VDi. Engine noise is very low during driving, on highway you cant realise that you are driving diesel car. Excellent pick-up beyond 2000 rpm.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Handling even in city excellent. Small turning radius help a lote in city. High torque help in traffic.

      Less pick-up intially.Poor break at high seed that may be due to high torque ?

      Final Words

       Good valu for money. In this much amount we are getting all fetures of comfort and fuel economy.
