      I had Dezire to purchase Dezire Swift with Petrol, because this give us value of money. I had presently, Maruti-800 Uro-II, which now required to replace with big car.

      I prefer to purchase big car now, which required some money and look big with low budget. The Maruti Swift Dezire with Petrol is give value for money with one of the luxury with low price.

      I am waiting for some price down which effordable to us.  Hope my dream come true with new big car i.e. Maruti Swift Dezire within span of 6 months.

      Its like a baby in your arms, so soft, so bubbly so chubby and the same so playful.  its also like a hotty girlfriend with tempting vivacious curves and when required its also economical like mom and caring like granny.

      One thing which catches attention almost immedeatly is its smooth, effortless handelling, its turning circle is unexpectedly small and its much easier to park in and slot out.

      Boot is another positive point. In all its a big car in the price of a small car. This could possibly the best bet and value for money.

      Best value for money we spend. The intereior and exterior are good, comfort and sturdy. Riding this vehicle is very very interesting and it give us pleasure to run in the high ways.  It is worth, since the one family having four or five members can go a long or short trip with two or three luggages.  The AC performance is very good, it gets cooled within a very short period. The seats are very comfortable.  The head lights are designed such a way that it gives maximum illumination on the required spot, which is very comfortable while drive in the night time. The adjustment in the angle of head light and provision of fag lamps are added advantage to drive in the night time.  Its brakes are excellent, during the high speed it is having the ability to stop the vehicle immediately.  The design and position of the gear assembly is more attractive.  The sporty type gear is very convinient to change gears with out much strain.

      Moreover, overall all the Maruti vehicles have the advantageous of after sales service in a conveient place.  Normally the vehicle is maintenanace free for atleast two to three years from the date of buying.

      Areas of improvement CUSTOMER DEALER AFTERSALES SERVICE, FUEL EFFICIENCY AND SOME SAFTY MEASURES FOR OUTSIDE BONNET, WAITING TIME SHOULD ALSO REDUCE OTHER WISE NEW PURCHASER CAN SHIFT TO ANOTHER CAR. AS SOON YOU GO FOR DEAL THERE IS PROBLEM OF COLOUR, VERSION ETC... DUE TO THIS PROBLEM I HAVE PURCHASE WHITE ONE BUT MY FIRST PREFERENCE WAS BLACK CAR AND I HAVE MADE THREE TIMES BOOKING AT DIFFERENT-2 DEALERS TWO OF THEM HAVE CANCELLED MY BOOKING AFTER 2 MONTH MAY BE THER HAVE SOLD TO OTHER PERSON. I SUGGEST THERE AS SONN YOU DO THE BOOKING ONE NO SHOULD GENERATE BY WHICH CUSTOMER CAN TRACK HIS POSITION.

      Exterior IMO good , always attract people , even few are jealous.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its good  pacakge for car of this price, I am 5' 11'' and that is reason I bought this car, feel quite roomy and comfartable . I had test driven many cars before I got Dzire . Cars TDed -  Fgio, Manza, Ritz, also went for  Hyndai showroom for I20, was difficult to get in I20 was truned off by that. I thought of buying Linea , Fiesta. I feel Fiat Linea is not good car  to own feels  lack of performace. Fiesta - IMHO the owners of this car suffer from lack of self esteem  and not not VFM. Had Vento on my radar but may be next time.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Each time when I drive Dzire, I am too involved with it, its small powerhorse, zooms in no time. Got fantastic fuel economy 20 kmpl on first fuel fill, it has odmeter reading just 1300 kms so it brand new. I had owened Totoya Carmy, Zen previouly, these are very gentle cars so have the habit of not putting more gas to pick speed, but in Dzire  with same effort the car just zooms, thats the real fun. Got the fuel ecomony of 20 kmpl of first full tank, which I think is good. Gearbox is notchy, but very tricky on second gear and the reverse.

      Ride Quality & Handling Feels  great for the price I paid. Each driving experience is fulfilling.

      Final Words You want fun, Dzire is the option for you, especially the Deisel.

      Areas of improvement May be DTE, gear change and currect gear indicator. But hey who care for his when you are on the Pune road, your all attention is to  dodge the potholes.

      Engines goes off when clutch and brake are applied together. I escaped a deadly accident which going downhill from chd-to-manali. This was not the first time that the engine went off, but all earlier instances were in Noida and I never realised that engine  going off on a curve downhill will be this deadly. Power steering becomes hard and brakes also is not smooth.

      After returning to Noida, I went straight to the dealer (vipul motor) and explained the situation. To my surprise its a known problem and they knew whats wrong. they changed a cluctch switch and problem not seen after that (1 year has passed). Other car makers would have recalled their cars, but Maruti chose not to do so, I am not sure what are they waiting for.

      Request all swift dzire (ldi, vdi, zdi) owners to get your clutch switch replace.

      I have purchased VXi about three years back (Oct 2008). My odo clocked ~ 40,000 km. I am getting average of 12-14 kmpl on city application and 16-17 kmpl on highway application (AC usage can be assume 50%).

      Exterior Over all is good.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior qaulity should improve. Buttons are shading off from its original emborsed prints. Some times window winding mechanism deo, front seat leg space is good. for rear seats not comfortable for THREE.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear Box, some time gives problem while moving to reverse gear as smooth enagement is not happening and forcing to put 1st gear engagement. And then can be proceed for reverse gear. This beocme critical if the situation is very critical in the from side of vehicle.

      Ride Quality & Handling Nice.

      Final Words At the time of purchase the fuel-diesel / petrol prices and the value of car version forced me to go for petrol. (assuming my average yearly usage of 15,000km). That time the cut-off was some where 20-22,000 km. But due to current senario it has come down to 10-12,000km. So now-a-days under in dilema whether my decision of going for petrol version was wrong?????

      Areas of improvement Interior features quiality and rear leg space/seat width.

      good mileage.....good effective ac....nice ride comfort....good boot space.....average quality of interiors....should improve on this....some boom noise on rear seats..

      Exterior HI,I AM JITHU FROM BANGALORE AND OWES MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT DZIRE VDI.THE LOOK IS REALLY AWSOME.THE AERO DYNAMIC CRUISE BODY LESSEN THE AIR FRICTION,HENCE SMOOTH DRIVE AT HIGHER SPEEDS.THE BEST EXTERIOR FEATURES ARE ITS TAIL LAMP COMBINATION AND HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY. SNAKE EYED FOG LAMPS AND CHROMINATED FRONT  GRILLS ARE OTHER ATTRACTIONS.ALTHOUGH THE BULGED WHEEL ARCHES GIVES A CRUISE LOOK,THE CHANCES OF GETTING DENTS IN THIS AREA WHILE CITY DRIVE IS VERY HIGH.THE BOOT SPACE IS MARVELLOUS

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) THE INTERIOR IS REALLY SPACIOUS. BUT THE REAR LEG ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN ENHANCED A LITTLE BIT. MARUTI SUZUKI HAS GIVEN MAXIMUM ATTENTION TO THE FRONT PASSENGERS.THE SEATS, INTEGRATED AUDIO SYSTEM, DASH BOARDS,AC VENTS ARE COMPARABLE WITH THE THE HIGHER END SEDANS.THE REAR HAND REST AND BOTTLE SPACES ARE REALLY BENIFICIAL.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox THE DOHC AND TURBO CHARGER SYSTEM ENHANCES THE ENGINE PERFORMANCE WITHOUT AUGMENTING THE CYLINDER CAPACITY. SO THERE IS A CONSTRUCTIVE BALANCE BETWEEN HIGHER FUEL ECONOMY AND THE POWER DELIVERY.THE POWER COULD BE INCREASED BY SIMPLY OPTING A HIGHER VOLUME CYLINDER(eg.1.6L OR 1.8L ) INSTEAD OF 1.3L. THEN THE MILEAGE WILL BE IN THE RANGE OF 10-14KMPL.SO THIS CAR SPECIALLY DIESEL VERSION IS REALLY WORTHY BY GIVING A GOOD ECONOMY OF 18-21 KMPL WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE POWER DELIVERY. THE DIESEL VERSION DELIVERS BETTER TORQUE (190 Nm) COMPARED TO PETROL (113 Nm). INITIAL POWER IS BETTER IN PETROL VERSIONS BECAUSE THERE OCCURS THE TURBO LAG IN THE SECOND GEAR OF THE DIESEL VEHICLE.THE THIRD GEAR SEEMS TO BE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE SECOND GEAR. OF COURSE,MY DZIRE VDI GIVES ME A PLEASANT DRIVE AT 100-150 KMPH SPEEDS ON HIGH WAYS.

      Ride Quality & Handling  REALLY, I ENJOY THE DRIVE ON MY BEIGE DIESEL POWER HORSE. THE POWER STEERING AND THE SMALL TRAVEL GEAR LEVER MAKES THE DRIVE REALLY FUNNY.

      FinalWords BELIEVE ME,YOU WILL ENJOY IT.IT IS THE BEST CAR IN  ITS CLASS (ENTRY LEVEL/MID SEGMENT SEDAN) BCZ IT GIVES MAXIMUM VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. MARUTI TRIED TO ACCOMMODATE ALMOST ALL THE FACILITIES IN DZIRE WITHOUT TYING A HIGHER PRICE TAG. THANK U  salujithu@yahoo.com

      Exterior Exteriors dosent look really good.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features, space and comfort are good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It give a really great perfomance, has a smooth engine, fuel economy is really good, it gives about 20kmpl on  highway.

      Ride Quality & Handling This part of the car is extremely disapointing. when we bought the car we used to travel around 50,000 Km every year and 80% of it is highway driving. it's a hell of task to control the car. there have been several situations where i had to break hard over the speeds of 80 and at that point of time it is indeed a real moving coffin, when the wheels lock the car shows a different behaviour which i haven't observed in any other cars. it tends to bank to one side and then when you realise that the car is drifting to the side and you turn the steering to another direction it compleatly goes out of control and starts drifing like crazy. the car is designed with a very small wheel base in order to enhance mileage without loosing performance but doing this will jeapordize the safety of the vehicle as the car itself is big with it's huge ass like boot and with such a small wheelbase it barely has any roadgrip.

      Final Words Well all i say about the car is that if you are a person who needs a car to go to the office and ocassionally travel on highways it's a value for money. a friend of mine has bought the car at the same time i bought it and he is really happy with it using it in the city.

      Exterior The exterior is so nice the colour of my dzire is silver . The lights,the bumper every thing is matching and so nice.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior of swift dzire is same as swift, but in swift dzire there are some extra features compared to swift vdi.  1st is in swift there is only a clock at the center point, but swift dzire have clock and temperature sensor, not a very big feature. the boot space in swift dzire is outstanding. i have fitted a pioneer subwoofer in boot and with the subwoofer there is a space of 3 to 4 big suitcases etc. The aircon is working so nice. the central locking and power windows are working so nice, this is my second hand car, but you can buy a new car and other side my car. You cannot any difference in performance

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is wonderful.No need to down a gear to pickup. the fuel economy of my car is between 17 to 27. i have kept the car at 185 kmph and after then my car was going not down 140 but the fuel economy was given 21 kmpl. if you drive the car at 80 to 100 kmph at highway. the car would give you maximum mileage of 26.50 kmpl. outstanding.

      Ride Quality & Handling So good handling and ride is outstanding. yoju can suppos that car would run as a running of water in 155 kmph.

      Final Words I finally suggest that you should buy the car. my car is secong owner and i was bought on 8 january 2015. and then the odo reading was genuine 90,000 kms. and now the car  reading is 1,16,200 kms. You can suppose in which situation the car run but the car runs smoothly perfectly and no problems in engine . the car is runned at good condition . but two problems occured when i bought the car. Not so big issue a central locking fuse blown and the gear shifter rod opened one day due to the car is thrown by our relations in a very big speed breaker. So saying in last words the car is absolutely outstanding .the car engine life is long due to scheduled  service. So recommend to viewers that the car would run smoothly after a longer time if you drive right change the oil filter , engine oil at 10,000 kms and clean the air filter or replace if necessary.
