    I'm writing this review for the car I'm driving right now and that is the swift VDI but before i will give you the detailed analysis i would rather want to tell you why i have chosen this option to get pictured in my family. It's our first purchase into the family me and my father didn't even know how to drive the car but i was pretty clear that i want hatchback only no sedan, we both then joined the car driving school and learnt how to drive and then the search began and came across bunch of options as to which option i would choose from Hyundai, Volkswagen, ford etc. Finally after the analysis that included servicing, after sales and spare parts cost i have then finalised to get this introduced into the family. 1. Buying experience: I bought this in the year 2012 the swift got the second major update in the year 2011 after the 2005 model. The car was and is still popular in this compact hatchback category that prompted the showroom not to give any discount on this model particularly. The salesperson who dealt with us had given the proper drive, explained all the features. I have then booked the car in the year 2011 in October and paid 10K for it and after 10 months i got a call from the showroom that my turn had finally arrived after waiting so patiently. We than began all the formalities that required from loan to in hand cash. The showroom manager came and handed over the keys to my dad that day was still cherishable as this was the first ever car into our family and that too new one so it was special for all of us. Now comes the 2. Riding experience: the ride of this car is just unmatched to all the rivals in this category. The punch that this car has is undefined but still to let everyone knows it i will explain it in detail. So when I first started the engine the NVH levels are so minimal and when you put your car in first gear and release the clutch the initial punch it already has won't allow you to press the accelerator with it. After that the torque helps in maintaining the much needed acceleration and how quickly this car does it is just fabulous. You can manevour this beast in city as well as on highways easily I haven't felt lagging even for one day . This car just ticks all the boxes for making ride worthwhile everytime I ride this car. Now 3. Looks : It has got great looks from front side the bumper falls in propertion with the headlamps and the silhouette from upper side that incorporates well with rear tail lamps. The curved boomerang tail lamps will let this car recognised promptly. Performance, I have already told you above that it's a beast for me i have driven 98000 km already and the number will just increase in the future too. For everyone who will drive this car I'm sure will have a broad smile. 4. Servicing and maintenance: i have seen that this car is light on your pocket as so many service center available in almost every part of the state and the servicing always cost in between 4000 to maximum 5000, For a diesel car when compared to its near rivals is quite less and to maintain this car is not a tough nut to crack one can easily maintain this car cleverly like we have done it. Now comes the 5. Pros and Cons : pros being the affordable diesel option from across its near rivals it looks good and propertionate. Performance being the best part that enthralled everytime whenever i have driven hands down on that. MID is also fantastic with good four speakers and the convenience in operating the system. Cons being the lightest car the kerb weight is just 998kgs the lightest in the segment bumper even might fall down even when it got hit by scooter. The boot space is the worst in its segment you can't take one big luggage as if you have to take it then you probably have to remove the rear parcel tray and and after that you can keep the big trolley bag in standing position so this has to improve by the brand in future updates. So , to all those who will read this review I'm sure it will surely going to help you in choosing this best option in letting this car to be a part of your garage.
