An all rounder. VFM package!

After a looooot of research, test drives and comparisons, I decided to choose what millions of people have already put their faith in, the Swift. Had to be petrol, since my usage doesn't fall into diesel driving requirements. Chose VXI, but i do regret not opting for the ZXI with ABS, airbags and rear wiper. I wish they were available as an option atleast. The driving experience is superbly smooth. You sometimes cant tell if the engine is idling. Handling is spot on. Gear shifts are precise. Clutch is light. FE in city is around 12, if you are a sane gentle driver, you can extract upto 17-18 on highway. I get an average of 15 in mixed conditions. Good enough for a petrol engine. Maintenance is affordable, being a Maruti. Keep the car maintained and the car won't ditch you in the middle of the road.

Pros: VFM package. FE. Performance. Cons: Safety features only in the top variant. Somes rattles have started creeping in, though nothing major (also our roads are to blame partly). Can be fixed.
