Hello Everyone,
I'm one of your Customer owning a Maruti Suzuki IGNIS.
Two days ago, I was about to travel to Pondicherry from my hometown. All was good when I commenced my travel. But things went bad later on. After a few minutes on my way to Pondicherry, it was raining heavily. I heard a strange sound from the engine. So, I stopped and checked on my vehicle immediately. I noticed that the engine oil was leaking. So, without any second thoughts I called the nearby service centre. But there was no response. I also tried to call your road side assistance number, but still no response. I was so worried that your dealers/road side assistance number couldn't even respond to an emergency situation. Then after a long time, one of your dealers at Villupuram (ABT Service Centre) responded. I explained the situation and the issue regarding my vehicle and asked him to send an emergency vehicle for towing. But they said that they could not arrange any vehicle and they asked me to bring my vehicle to Villupuram by myself. I wonder, If you are not able to respond to a Customer at an emergency situation, i'm curious why there are road side assistance number /helpline numbers in the first place. Anyhow, this was the least disappointment I had from your service.
Somehow I managed myself to take my car to Villupuram ABT service centre by towing for further inspection. After further inspection, they said that there are water traces in the air filter and they also suspected that the engine oil drain port might be damaged. But, there was no problem with the engine oil drain port. At the end of the day, they said that they need to send a detailed report to Maruti and check on this issue. Realizing the issue and the time needed, I came back to my hometown.
After one day of time given, they informed me that these things cannot be covered under warranty since this happened due to a hydrostatic alert (said by the technician). Due to this, there is a high possibility that there might be crack or breakage in the Piston Assembly (said by the Technician). Then I started questioning why this happened and what was the root cause. The Techinican's answer was a total surprise for me. He was claiming that this issue happened because I drove my car in the rain. Seriously, I was disappointed whether the technician was talking in his right sense. Do you really believe that driving my car in the rain is the root cause for this issue? If you think so, then is this the quality of this car????
I bought my car on JUN-2019 and it's been exactly a year. I have done all my services at your service centres. Do you think that it's reasonable to have an issue in the engine within one year of purchase? There was no alert on my instrument cluster. There were no prior symptoms of any kind of issue. How do you think that this issue is fully my responsibility and you keep ignoring that this has happened due to a technical error or issue? If this is how you treat a customer and handle an issue during an emergency situation, then i'm truly disappointed in your brand and the quality of your vehicle. I bought this vehicle, because I loved it. But your brand and service makes me think that I should never buy anything from your brand and I will not recommend my family and friends to buy vehicles from your brand. I also wanted to add that when I went for the second time to the service centre, I found that my car was parked in an open area and my car window was open. During this rainy time, do you think that this is a proper and responsible way of handling a customer's car when it is in your place?
I have driven my car around 34K Kms and it's been exactly one year. This is not at all fair to have an issue in the engine. Give me a proper solution on this issue and this has to be covered under warranty. Because as a Customer, I never failed to skip my services. So, I'm expecting the same from your team as early as possible. If not, take back the car and refund my money. I don't want to have a business with your brand if you are not able to give a proper solution to an issue but only trying to put the blame on the customer like this happened because i drove my car in the rain.
I am using the ignis Delta Petrol car last 1.5 years, i have completed 14000 Kms so far.
Pros:
1) Very good car for this segment .
2) Tall body design ,seating comfort ,comfortable driving view , premium feel inside etc..
3) Good ground clearance and never touch any speed humps..
4) It`s fun to drive car both for city and highway, Steering is very nice
5) Rear seats are fordable as 60:40 which help to take out things without opening boot.
6) The powerfull engine in this segment. the engine is smooth and silent
7) I am getting mileage of 15-18 kms in City condition with AC all the time.If you dive 80s you will get 22-24kms. Two times i went Bangalore to Thrissur[Kerala] i got average 24 km mileage in 80 km/hr .
8) Front view like SUV.. Side view also nice...
Cons:
1) Rearview of this car is the biggest drawback.
2) Rear suspension is little hard..rear passenger feel bumpy during speed breakers .
3) Good to have Cruise control feature...
4) Rear seat width feels less.....
Very good mileage. Good pick up. Very stable... 17 to 19 KMPL per liter of petrol. No issues after 15000 kms. Using it from 2017 April. Never broke down.... Sometimes engine sounds can be heard... Not easy to upgrade infoment systems with LCD tupe
I bought a car named ignis which is best in design in the engine in everything but one thing which is not good is the exterior. Tire size, engine, comfort everything is good. When we drive this car for long-distance this car gives it's best but when it crosses 200 km it wants to rest.
Bad experience by maruti nexa showroom pune,no test drive, model not in stock, not asking water, they don't want business because the sales person attitude is just like casual ,he told me we don't have stock ,we don't have test drive,i am surprised that because we read every day there slowdown in the market but in maruti showroom there is no slowdown, they don't need business
I really very impressed with its style and comfort. I want to say one thing to those people who want to buy swift before buying swift just 1 time go and check it hope u will be impressed too and can save ur money with buying this except swift.....
In safety it is zero level car, it overturned even after a mare sliding two-vehicle dashing.
It is like a matchbox.
In safety views of points, it streeared very fast while as speed increased steering should be tight.
In rainy season even when ac is on fog put side the front glass didn't clear. You have to wipe out on a regularly basis.
First of all, I was confused to make a decision
To choose a hatchback.
Reasons: 1 budget
2 Quality
3 Market value
4th & important is its MAINTENANCE COST
At last, I decide to buy ignis from my friend's experience. he replaces his 2018 model swift to ignis . & He suggested me to buy it for a better riding comfort than swift
2.Riding experience.
Overall riding performance is better
Its wide tyre is helpful in an off-road terrain drive
3.look & performance
I think the look wise is more updated in 2020 model
Personally I'm not interested it's rear side design..
But while I am driving the car it's not a problem to me...
Narrow lag on. Low rpm. Then it retains it's. Power on normal city mode
4. service
The same cost of swift & other hatchback models of Maruti.its a Major factor to maintain car smoothly
5 .pros
Better riding comfort
Updated interior facility
Large width tyre help off-road terrain drive than another hatchback model
Linear power
Low maintenance
Cons
1 design maybe not desirable for everyone especially rear side
Nexa is Taking too much premium & if you are planning to buy NEXA car then please get ready to feel insulted from Maruti service centres employees.
within 3 years you will face these problems:
1. Clutch Plate:- life around 30000 KMS.
2. Gear BOX:- Gearbox will start stocking in 5th Gear.
3. Body Shaking:- After 100 KMS/HR speed it will start shaking.
4. Light Body Structure:- Interior body structure is so weak & will start opening Joints.
5. Power window:- Power window will start malfunctioning.
6. No Care from Big Brand:- the Best part is that So-called big brand NEXA will take no care of your wordings & Mails.
Average & seat comfort is good but space is so less & the body is so weak.
Overall worthless car & Brand & if you are planning to buy this car so get ready to spend a lot of money for its repairing.
The ride quality is ok , good fuel efficiency, good space inside, good that it has both front and rear adjustable head rest..... now the negatives things are very poor n week plastic quality used in car, build quality is not that anyone expected from car, it's highly underpower when ac on n fuel consumption is very high when as on, only two speakers, steering is harder as compared to swift
