Genuine review after driving 20K.

1. Bought VDI for 8.6L in Dec 2017. For this price range you get Honda Amaze new version which is better in all aspects. 2. Ride experience is poor as it is 1.3L engine. You need to accelerate the engine to move the car. Pick up will be very low compared to diesel Amaze or i20. If you looking for quality ride please don't prefer this. We went maximum speed of 140KMPH and the car is stable. Please don't cross 100 as this is very light body car. 3. Looks wise this is excellent car in this category. The interiors feel very premium with wooden material across the dash board. Performance as said is low. You need to push the accelerator much if car is fully occupied. But once it is in good pace you don't need to accelerate much. You could feel engine throttle inside the car. In city limits I got 20Kmpl and in high ways I got 24kmpl if I drive with maximum speed of 100kmph. 4. Service is good. I don't think Maruti is economical. Ford and other companies also charges you similar amount for servicing. 5. Pros: 1.Good mileage. But Amaze in same category and same price is giving good mileage with good performance (1.5L cc engine) 2. Interiors are premium. 3. Spacious. Cons: 1. Though engine is tried and tested, the car pick up is very poor. Maruti decreases the engine power and torque for the engine they got from FIAT for good fuel economy. Any how this could be temporary Cons as Marti is developing their own 1.5L diesel engine which Ciaz already received. Soon we could expect 1.5L diesel engine in DZire aswell. 2. You could feel cabin sound and engine throttle sound while driving. 3. Body is delicate. When I press with minimal pressure, I could feel the body is getting dents.
