EXCELLENT CAR BUT PATHETIC SALES AND SERVICE FROM TVS & SONS, KOCHI. Fiat ran away from them to TATA, guess the same is gonna be the future of RENAULT. A case has already been filed at consumer court against the dealer…. Always have options for other cars in mind…
JUST TO ADD ON ( EXTRACTS OF THE COMPLAINT)
I had placed an order for the purchase of Renault Logan 1.5 dlx,f.black from the local dealer, T.V. Sundaram Iyengar &sons limited,N.H.byepass maradu-682304 on 13/9/07 by paying an advance of Rs 10,000.they had promised me to hand over the vehicle on 15/9/07by 3.p.m.I had given a pay order from S.B.I for Rs 6 lakhs ,and a sum amounting to Rs 48,300 on 14/9/07,balance of Rs 10,750 was paid before 11’o clock on 15/9/07.As per their advice I have been there by 3.p.m
On 15/9/07 to take delivery of the vehicle ,even after waiting upto 6.p.m they couldn’t register and number wasn’t allotted .I have understood that this was the mistake on the part of the manufacturer, to produce a letter from ARA to transport commissioner KERALA to register the vehicle .This problem had happened for the petrol version of LOGAN and they produced such a letter and got the vehicle registered without difficulty .This problem should have been anticipated for the diesel version and if it was done I could have got the vehicle registered on the same day.
I had informed this matter to the toll free number and my complaint was registered and my complaint number is GI17/0044.Apart from this I had personally sent a mail to MORYE.SUBODH@mahindra.com as well as other
concerned people in Mahindra.
They had instructed the Cochin Mahindra officials to do the needful. I had contacted over the phone zonal manager Chennai, named SELVAM but there was no immediate resolution to the matter. Mean while they had arranged for an alternate car for my local conveyance were I had to put the diesel. It took 10 days nearly to get the vehicle registered after paying the entire amount of Rs 6,58,000 by 15/9/07 I had to wait till 24/9/07 for the registration to happen .This is a clear negligence from both T.V.S as well as MAHINDRA.
Again when the car was delivered to me it was in a stock yard condition rather than show room condition .If the so called PDI was followed this would have been avoided .The entire body surface of the car was rough including the glasses
And also a dent on the rear right side near to the handle .This was rectified after two days.This clearly shows the negligence of T.V.S.EXCELLENT FUEL ECONOMY, VALUE FOR MONEYPATHETIC DEALER...........
