For people out there, this is a beautiful car which is easy on the pocket with maintenance. I have now done over 6k kms and two services up. Been on long drives and reasonable off roads tours. The car is exceptionally spacious, really big inside and silk smooth engine.
I read expert opinions of a notchy MT but I am challenging this, I find the gear box very smooth and with reasonably short throws. The car feels more like a petrol than a diesel.
I have personally clocked average of 23.4 km/l enroute to Bangalore to Chikmangalur which is very sweet.
The diesel car also has 4 disc brakes in the entry variant. I am surprised the car fares low on safety stars from NCAP.
Visibility from the driver seat is excellent and precise. Very less blind spots for a car of this size.
Yes, interiors could be better but I don't think KIA has cut any corners, considering this their first car in India.
Also be aware that KIA engines power the Creta and KIA is easier to maintain. It's also a taller, broader and longer car than Creta.
