I bought Hyundai Xcent SX(O) Petrol like a month back, and till now I am satisfied with the vehical,
Car is good,awesome features ,looks and handling.
Found the Milage was around 8~10 Kmpl for the first month with AC on,
Space in th back seat is enough for 2 people to sit comfortably.
With AC on you need to dig your leg into accelarator for pickup.
AC is good with the SX(O) option Petrol, what I have it offers Automatic climate control feature to adjust the temperature.
Rear camera is cool feature and helpful as well.
ABS works well although wont be much evident when driving in city.
Boot space is awesome, Biggest in the segment.
My suggestion would be that if you want to buy this car its a good overall package but if you can increase your budget a bit go for a actual sedan like verna or city rather than compact sedan.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In 170 liter 2712km driven in hectic pune's traffic (15.9km/L) and never run my car without Ac and most of the time kept nob of ac 2nd position . I am new driver I learn driving on this car. so its great fue economy in its class if you are new driver. if I drive on the higway it will definately give more than 19km/L. Excelent braking system. Sudden stop whenever you need to stop.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good ride quality and easy handling in city. it is vibrating when speed goes above 95 why company should check.
Final Words GOOD CAR IN THE SEGMENT BETTER THAN ZEST AND SWIFT AND EVEN DESIRE
Areas of improvement Its body steel material used is not siff. so thicker gauge should be used to resist the impact of even a hand or knee. very thin steel masterial is used. COLOR COATING IS POOR.

Exterior 3.5/ 5 Great styling and fudic design, Keeps the car well noticed on the crowded roads.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 4/ 5 Hyundai is known for giving more then asked for when it comes to feature packed interiors. Xcent is not less on any asspect when it comes to this Category.
Engine Perform ance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 3/5 Gear box is very nice and comfortable. Its easy to shift gears and not much of a effort. Fuel economy is something which is just about average, as company claims its not so good.
Final Words There are few basic needs to call a Car "CAR" and brakes come in top few of that, which I guess hyundai is not acknoloding with this range of car. It just kiddish to say ur customer that xcent is design to have such sharp brakes and its a new technology. I am speechless when it comes to that. Secondly I think the Trip meter rests itself on its own once in a while which is also just absurd.
Areas of improvement Brakes for sure. My car can give me worst millage if it comes to it but a faulty brakes is just meaningless.

Exterior: Was best in class until Ford Aspire was launched.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Interior is best in class, you get all the features that you might need, a rear AC vent, charging point and Chiller glove Box is the best you can get in this category, I might add.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: You get only 70 BHP compared to its other rivals which give at least 90 but still I never felt a power lagg. Its smooth like butter and its so well insulated that you barely hear anything inside the room. Fuel economy is fairly good.
Ride Quality & Handling: Best steering wheel in class.
Final Words: I've not driven Aspire yet, but this one is the best.
Areas of improvement: They need to sort the braking issue and the tyres seem a bit small.

Exterior Much better looking than others in this segment and has a really solid built quality.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The best looking interiors in the segment without a shadow of doubt. Slightly less spacious than the Zest though. Zest is indeed a bit wider but still 3 people can comfortably sit on the back seat in Xcent.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Driven for 2000 kms, average 12-15kmpl in city with ac on, the engine is powerful enough for this segment, has a very smooth gear box.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality and handling in the city. The overall better built quality of this car gives it much more stability on city roads as compared to others in the segment.
Final Word The most complete package in this segment. Good performance, well built, stylish looks, best in class interiors, loaded with features and a good fuel economy. I got a pretty good deal as well from the dealer (Hans Hyundai Moti Nagar) at the time of purchase. Got the first service done and was totally satisfied. If you are in the market for a new car and have budget of 7-8 lacs, I would surely recommend you the Xcent SX (O) 1.2. Simply because it is the best value for money in this segment and does not really have a weak area.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is okk, pick up not too good, econmoy I am getting 13.5 in city and 16 in high way. Breaking system is extremely bad.
Final Words I loved everything about this car but there is big issue regarding break. Its break is so sharp then if I apply it suddenly it give big jerk specially to riders sitting in front. My wife missed hitting dashboard no of times and I have to be so careful while pressing break that I really don’t enjoy driving the car. I have complained it to service center’s but they don’t have any solution only excuse they gave is that it’s inbuilt (though I never noticed it when I test drive the car). I am fed up of this issue I might change my car to better brand/car.

Excellent car. Covered 40000 km in 1 year.
Average:- with a/c in city 17-17.5,
without a/c in city 20-20.5,
on highway- Without ac its 24-25,
With ac 20-21.
Enough space and leg room.a/c is quite chiiling in severe hot weather also. Complete comfortable in riding. Interiors are awesome. Not at all under power feeling is there while driving on highway too. Best car with such low price tag in this segment. Boot space is enough to load max baggages. Its really a value for money. Only problem is hyundai service station who dont do the servic of the car properly. I found service bit expensive as compare to honda and toyata. but cheaper than Maruti.

I bought this car in June, 2016, and after driving this car for almost 1 year, 6000 km,
I can say that it is a nice car, It feels good from inside, space is good, 5 people can seat inside car for long journey, AC is ok,
When you driving it in city, you will get 10-11 kmpl.
On highway it gives 14-15 kmpl.
Inbuild music system is good,
I have noticed some people complain about breaking issue but i do not face such issue, Breaking works well for me. The gears of the car are really soft to operate.
Ride quality is good, you will not hear engine noise as it is quote silent car.
Only average is not good parameter for this car, so if you are looking for car for city usage, then you should not go with this one as 10-11 kmpl average is not good for pocket or else regarding other features, it is good to go.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) NICE INTERIOR GOOD COMFORT AND SPACE.
Feature wise no company in India can beat Hyundai in each price segment. This is not perception based but factual. I had considered Swift Dzire & Honda Amaze as well but both lacked interior features. Xcent on the other hand is feature rich. The S version is the mid variant which has an integrated 2Din CD/Aux/USB audio system (1GB internal memory) with steering mounted controls. The system is also equipped with bluetooth for audio & phone calls. Reverse parking sensors & elctronic retractable & adjustable ORVM are very useful & convenient. The blue lit interior lights on the speedometer & audio system looks beautiful and vibrant. Besides, each door has a bottle holder over and above the two bottle holders that are placed near the gear knob. Ample of space for 5 people to sit comfortably, considering they are all lean or at the most moderate in size. The seats are comfortable, especially the rear seats. I personally found the hand room for the driver to be a bit uncomfortable. The buttons for power windows & ORVM on the driver door are awkwardly close to the seat which makes operation uncomfortable. Rear A/C vent, glove box vent & rear charging point are a luxury.

Car is latched with almost all latest features except GPS system , If possible GPS system can be provided on cost basis especially on high models. Overall the car is value for money, CNG variant should be made available in metro cities.
