2002 Sonata GLS: Car was very good for the first few years. But just over three years, the paint peeled from door handles and side mirrors and is not covered by the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Radio quit at the same time (only a blown fuse) but also found it was not covered. Soon after, car wouldn't start. Sensor in consul needed replacement. In May '07 my mechanic told me I needed a complete brake job including calipers -- $1300! In August, I had 3 of 4 power window regulators replaced, fortunately just before my extended bumper-to-bumper warrenty expired. Alternator just quit and was told that it's not covered under the power-train warranty. The cost? $441! By the way, I only have 67,000 miles on this car! If you're looking for a car with an excellent warranty, look elsewhere.Low price, warranty, fuel economy, featuresdeprecation, HIGH repair cost, loopholes in warranty
