I purchased this grand i10 asta (o) Petrol & pretty happy with the car. I would give detail
review of the same for those who are looking to buy this car.
I am not a car expert as it is my first car so sorry if I miss something. The review
is based on car driven for nearly 150 Km.
Also it is a experience i had with my Grand i10 and not comparison between any two cars.
Exterior
Hyundai Grand i10 looks good. It has stylish rear headlamps. The design is pretty good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
3 average people can sit at the rear but it will be little uncomfortable for long journey.
Rear ac vents are very useful.
Its a feature loaded car. Parking sensors, ABS, Airbags, 1 GB inbuilt memory, Engine
START/STOP, Glove box cooling, Driver height adjusters, Rear defogger & wiper,
bluetooth control, Keyless entry, Arm rest switches, Tilt Steering, Electric adjustable and
foldable mirrors etc
The music system is nice.
P.N : Some of the features mentioned are available only on top models i.e asta (o)
I am little bit dissapointed that EBD is not provided even on top model.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Fuel economy i have not check yet.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ground clearance is a problem. To avoid this just slow down when you notice a speed
breaker.
I read some reviews but didn't face any :
Problem while overtaking but my Grand i10 petrol face no such issue. May be it will with
diesel Grand i10.
Also not heard any noise while reversing the car.
Final Words
Its a feature loaded car. Just go for it.
Bargain hard then you might get some discounts. Also purchase accessories from Hyundai
only when you have no option.
I will post more details reagrding handling, gearbox, fuel economy within 1 month.

Exterior Good lookin and yes grand.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice and spacious for its size.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Cool. compared to the previous cars I had and recently Maruti Swift Zxi, where the Body was too heavy for the engine causing initial shivering/vibration of the whole car while taking off after stoping in slopes as I live in a very hillt terrian state of Mizoram.

Areas of improvement As mentioned above a company of such repute providing a steel wheel spare tyre was very disappointing, it needs to replace the spare Steel wheel with an alloy tyre. In fact, I searched the whole market for replacement of the spare steel wheel for a similar Alloy wheel design but failed. I would like to let the Hyundai people know that I bought a Maruti Swift Zxi in Dec 2005 where similar spare steel wheels were provide but was replaced by alloy wheels by February 2006. Hope Hyundai could do the same. Please let the Hyundai people read this review.

Exterior Superb look, Best back side design and nice colors
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is very good and loads with ton of features which you wont find in other cars of this segament like swift. Rear ac vents and bluetooth connectivity is first in this segment car and it also have 1 gb of internal memory to store your fav tracks.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 16kmpl in city and 17kmpl in highway. Very smooth gearbox and great suspension. Engine noise is too low sometimes i need to press the accelerator in red lights to check whether my car's engine is on or not.
Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth and comfortable. Handling and controls including breaks is awesum.
Final Words If u want a car for the family of 5 you must blindly go to this one. It wont disappoint you in features milage looks or any other area.
Areas of improvement Front looks as i 10 i 20 and even grand i 10 looks the same from the front.

I bought grand i10 asta (o) Petrol 10 months back. Space is very good, Very smooth and comfortable. Handling, controls, breaks is awesum. It equipped with all controls, rear ac vent, cooled glove box. I have completed above 5000km, Engine performance is good even in the up hill drive. Mileage in city (bangalore) 11-12 kmpl and on highway 16-17 kmpl. I really like the Gearbox.. its very smooth.

Exterior: A gaint Leap from i10. It looks more professional. There is nothing which can be called over styling. Paint Job is just a class above. The doors open very wide for easy entry and exit. Panel Gaps are consistent.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Interiors are as good as some 10 million car. Fit and finish is top notch. The ergonomics are better when compared to competition. There is no visible cost cutting.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine is tried and tested. Gearbox is sleek. Short throws are very smooth. Accelerator, Break and clutch are super light.
Ride Quality & Handling: Ride Quality and Hadling is better than any hyundai of any class. This car loves tarmac. It is not as bouncy as old i10 or i20. Steering gives proper feedback and has life. Both city and highway driving is good in petrol version.
Final Words: I am glad to buy this car and enjoying it evry moment.
Areas of improvement: Hyundai should add a dead pedal, it seriously needs it.

Exterior is excellent with keyless entry, rear wiper, defogger, spoiler , roofrail, chrome door handle, alloy wheel.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) is excellent with enough head space, legspace, boot space, steering wheel equipped with all controls, rear ac vent, cooled glove box, front and rear seat with enough thigh support.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance, fuel economy is average and performance of gearbox is well above average.
Ride Quality & Handling Seems to loose control over the car while driving through sharp corners and talking about suspension, it is the worst part of this car. i can feel anything and everything on the road from within the car.
Final Words Except its suspension, everything about this car seems premium and worth the money spent on it.
Areas of improvement Everything about this car ,externally and internally, looks excellent except suspension.... suspension,....suspension... please inform me if any modifications can be done on this. i found it difficult to be inside my car while driving through uneven roads while the rivals like swift, tata indica, toyota etios with which i took the testdrive just to confirm my doubts about suspension went through the same road with least uneasiness.

I have completed 10K kms of drive in my Grand i10 with most of them in highway drives. I feel it is overall good multipurpose car in hatchback segment. Below are some of my points about the car.
Exterior Good Style and Finish with excellent looks. Also looks sturdy from outside and feels like good build quality.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space and comfort for its type. Boot space is comfortably sufficient for its size. Lots of storage options in interior for bottles, mobiles etc. Front seats doesn't have adjustible head rests and I find this is disadvatage especially in long drives.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box is smooth and Engine is silent. Fuel economy is not impressive.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride and handling. The car is very stable even at 120KMPH high speeds.
Final Words Overall Good purchase for both city and highways drives. It would have been outstanding if mileage is also good.
Areas of improvement Fuel economy. I get 11-12kmpl in city with AC on and 14-16kmpl in Highways.

Final WordsBreaking issues, dropped the car at show room thrice for the same, have also met couple of accidents once with family baby of 7 month old and mother got hurt and once had hit 2 wheeler and paid damage of 1.5k. Brakes suddenly gets jammed and you would have no option apart from using handbreak at your own risk, by the time u ealsie ur break jam you would have met with an accident.
Areas of improvement Worse customer service. Worse automobiles, will be selling this car and buy Ford/Voikswagen... Safety matters is what I relaised after accidents. Even with ASTA(O) OPTION IF BRAKES FAIL THEN YOU ARE SCREWED.
No engine noise inside cabin, good for city drive, turning radius is goodBrake gets JAMMED, poor mileage like 12 in city and 16 highyway, maintenance is same as i20ఎక్స్టీరియర్/స్టైల్స్
