    Exterior

    I liked the front grill the most and looks much better than that of New Honda City with broad chrome grill . 

    The look of body is sturdy from a distance - it gains height as you go back and gives a feeling of a fast car fluid dynamics .

    The fine horizontal cut in the front that separates the bonnet is very appealing .

    The projector lamps are good - the light spread broadens when in narrow street or side rails ..very nice feature.  

    I love the star dust color that I have .  

    Broad wheels are good and shows power.

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

    The front is very spacy - the seat is a bit  lower and less of under thigh support . in driver seat, this gets adjusted by height setting but not so in co pilot seat . 

    Beige finish is appealing & with wooden a the music system is quite forward .

    The steering is super smooth at low speeds and gets tight as you gain speed - obviously for better steering control .

    The material finish is top class quality  .  

    The foot pedal rest is there where needed . 

    The car is super silent even with engine on and I think this is the best part .  At times , I had to see the dashboard whether engine is on or not . 

    the press key for ignition is on the wrong side- it should have been on right side instead of left side . At times, my kid sitting on co pilot seat pressed it for fun but it is fatal if the car is running . HYUNDAI please take care of this part if you are listening. 

    The rear view display is good and easey to park. I have started facing problem as at times the display doesnt switch on when i do reverse gear . i had to restart the engine to get this back . Have shown to dealer though and they say it coul dbe because of mositure during monsoon .  

    The dimmer on rear view is good and avoids glare of head lamps coming behind .  

    Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

    This is a real BEAST - sheer power and silent .  

    Here the Verna is absolute winner by miles . The pick up and the ease with which it accelerates is incredible . 

    I had been on highway and there was not a car that i had not taken over in falsh of a second. 

    At gear 2 or gear 3, you press the pedal and you experience a thrust as if you are sitting in aeroplane and taking off .  Even at speed of 80 kmph, i have over taken at ease . Just press the pedal a bit extra and the job is done . Even at high speeds, there is hardly any noise inside . 

    I drove on hills and had very good control all through . In sharp up hill, I only had to ensure to keep running at good rpm ( 3000 plus ) and your job is done . 

    Gear shifts are smooth and throw is decent . I could control with elbow on arm rest all through . 

    The controls on steering are good . May be you could have added voice command like Zest has done. 

    Blue tooth functionality is very good .

    Brake are quite powerful though you may not feel like when you are pressing .  

    Fuel economy - 12kmph  in city ( considering bad traffice of gurgaon, not the real ones ) and 16.4 kmph  on highway . I tried another setting and was getting 18.6 kmph - drive at 1750 rpm and speed of 50 on 5th gear ) 

     

    Ride Quality & Handling

     suspension is decent . On hills and mountains, i had no problem maneovouring over and over taking .  At turns, I felt better control on car during acceleartion or during braking . 

    The SCARY part is the car feels like a floating boat at speed of 120 kmph. Till 110, I felt in complete control on steering but as the speed increased , i was not comfortable at all - sometimes it felt car is slowly drifting towards left and then slowly towards right when you steer a bit . HYUNDAI, What is the solution or explanation. The dealer hasnt been able to explain though. 

    Final Words

    I bought this after lot of research and thought.But the driving experience made all the difference.  Very comfortable and relaxed drive experience . Even after jam of 2 hrs, I was not tired . Had it been indica, i would be having cramps in my legs. 

    Areas of improvement  

     rear seat space is very less for person like me . 

    under thigh support is required in seats. 

    Igntion press switch should be on right side .

    at speed of 120 kmph and above, it feels like boat and difficult to control . It is SCARY . Hyundai , Please suggest what can be done here , I love to drive and this is a demotivator . 

     

    Pickup , interior space , front looks specially the new grillrear seat space is less , more USB port should have been given. care floats like a boat at 120kmph
