Exterior Excellent look, while viewing from frontside. But backside design can be slighly modified to look good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well designed Interior. comparing with other car in this same segment, only I20 gives this fine cut design. Noting to complaint.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Before i20 I have used Santro for 10 Yrs. Engine size is only 200cc more than Santro. But because of heavy kerb weight pickup is slow during overtake. More kerb weight means more safety. You can't expect more from this small size 1197cc engine . I am using Asta (O) since one year and driven more than 10000 Kms. You may face slow pickup while overtake others on highway. But City driving is more comfort. In city I am getting 11.5 to 12 Kms with normal petrol and one more Km with premium petrol (With AC).
Ride Quality & Handling Gear shifting is so smooth. Someone (Only someone like me not all) may get "grinding feel" during breaking. This is due to ABS. But Hyndai should take care while setting ABS in cars.
Final Words Cost may be slightly more for Elite i20 Asta (O) VTVT. May be due to 6 SRS airbags.
Areas of improvement Now Hyndai have changed backside look. Low Mileage complaint from all users. Without modifying engine it may not be possible.
