      Exterior Awesome looks, the front grill and back tail lamps.. the fluidic design is simply awesome. Especially the Red color.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good Leg space in front and back, a decent boot space, the interiors are very good not made of cheap plastic. Though the display is very small, looks nice. It comes with Kenwood speakers without subwoofers. Steering mounted audio controls looks pretty fine.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Since body is little heavy 1.2 liter engine seems little less to power this car, gear box is very smooth compared to its rivals. Fuel economy wise it will come around 11-13kmpl (because of heavy body). I have driven around 800kms.

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, even in heavy rain the ABS works perfectly fine, and body is very steady.

      Final Words Awesome car for that price range. A luxury Hatch back no doubt in it. Only sad part is waiting period little more.

      Areas of improvement Engine can be more powered to 1.4 engine.

      The verdict,

      A good-looking, spacious car that gives you a big-car feel for small-car money.

      The new i20 has a bigger wheelbase, is marginally wider, but has actually lost a few millimetres in length. Cabin space is generous in terms of legroom. The seats are reasonably big, and give enough overall support. At the rear, three people can sit without feeling hemmed-in. The angle to which the seat back can be reclined is sufficient, and there is good under-thigh support, although the bench could've offered more under-thigh cushioning. Rear air-con vents also make their debut in the Elite i20.

      It's a well-laid out cabin, the Elite's, with a host of features like a dashboard-integrated music system, climate control, and USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The steering is big but easy to grip, and the twin-dial instrument cluster is neat. Quality of plastics, fabric and trim is high, as are the levels of fit and finish, all of which are enough to give you the upmarket feel you need from a premium hatchback.

      After going through the reviews, I thought  to write one on my experience with Hyundai i20 elite.

      I was on the search of an upgrade from my maruthi 800 (5 speed) for about 6 months. I was watching the reviews of various cars and finally shortlisted i20 elite & amaze. But decided to buy i20 elite sportz petrol mainly viewing the online reviews and the features it offers. Almost all reviews given excellent rating or elite and the features it offered for the price was also good. When I decided to buy it in June, Hyundai had increased its price twice by about Rs.26,000  and handling charges from Rs.8900 to Rs.12000 (ex show room price for sportz petrol was about Rs.6.53 lakhs, on road including B to B insurance is Rs.7.45 lakhs at Thiruvananthapruam). Sales team of the dealer was also upbeat about elite. In fact they were even saying that they were not interested to canvass elite as there is no incentive for selling elite compared to other models. According to them this car will sell without promo. I booked sportz, petrol, redpassion. Though the waiting period is 2 months, they offered delivery within 20 days and insisted to pay full price upfront for forwarding the booking to the Company. According to them unless full /substantial payment is made they will not be able to forward the order to the company. Hence I have to ask the bank to release the full loan amount. When I went to enquire about the delivery after  the agreed twenty days,  though they apologize about the delay but to my surprise they offered that I can cancel the order if  I wish (this was before the Jazz’s introduction). Such was the response on the sale of I20. Though the responses upset me a bit, I was consoling myself that I had ordered a great product and waited for it.

      Took the car on 6th July. At the outset I liked the vehicle.  However, later when I inspected the car, came to know that the that the leather warped steering wheel , leather gear know and  boot lamp was absent (which was offered as standard for sportz version in the brochures) In fact I am not sure what other features they had withdrawn. When I contacted Hyundai got a standard reply, they had withdrawn these from the sportz version from 1-4-2015. Thus after about an increase in price of about Rs.26,000 and handling charges by Rs.3500, they had withdrawn many features from the sportz version. This was another instance which I felt the company was unfair to me.

      After a week had a trip to Tiruchendur about 190 km one way. It was a good drive except I was really upset by the pickup. Frankly, the car struggled in 4th and top gear  after slight braking. The power of third gear is much poor than my old maruthi 800 !! Frequent gear shifts necessary even in long drives on highways. On mileage it clocked slightly over 13km/litre on the trip. On the whole, I had to say that my upbeat is over now, it did not match the expectations.

      Exterior

      Nice look thats what I can say about this car but overall I am not satified with car.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Spacious, though seats are kinda ok not so good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Car is high maintenance and not everybody would be able to manange it well. I often had to go to workshop for breaks and mileage related issues.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       It vibrates above 80 Kmph

      Final Words

      Considering the price I have paid and expectations I had, I wouldnt suggest this car to city folks who like to roll a lot. I have not had good customer service experience and probably thats true for many hyundai car owners. Hyundai will learn it sooner or later that without better post sales service they cant continue to fool customers. 

      Areas of improvement  

       Company should commit what car actually has rather than boasting. After sales service is major cause of concern with hyundai. I agree that hyundai cars are good looking but that doesnt cover up for performance. Major area of improvement is reliability and performance.

      Exterior Very elegant look, nice design, great design.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice quality of interiors, dash board, great quality of sound system. Lot of space. Good Cup holders.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent pick-up, low noise, smooth gear shifting.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very good driving experience but suspension is poor. When you go above 100 pick-up is less. Poor ground clearence worsen than Maruti Alto. It will touch the floor even in small bumps.

      Final Words Body, interiors & exteriors are good. But worst mileage. My i20 sportz petrol car is giving mileage 9.5 in city. 12kmpl on highway. Even though we drove below speicified speed limits there is no change. When we approach Hyundai Gachibowli Hyderabad service center, they are saying change fuel station. We tried all BP,HP, Inidan oil nothing changed.

      Here Hyundai cheating customers claiming the city mileage as 14 when we visit showrrom first time.

      Never trust show room people. Real figures of mileage are worst.

      If you dont bother about mileage and money, you can buy.

      Great car. you will feel like you are driving BMW or Audi.

      Exterior  Superb exterior...specially the Passion Red colour that I have. Looks fabulous, parking sensors, rear view camera are the great feature which i personally like.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Again great interior with plenty of features. Music System quality is also great, steering mounted controls are excellent.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is awesome in both city n highway, Fuel Economy is bit disappointing which come somewhere between 13 to 15 in city n Highway, I have calculated the average in first 1000 Km of 12.5 to 13 in the city like gurgaon/Delhi and average of 15 on Yamuna Expreeway.  Gear shifting are very smooth.

      Ride Quality & Handling Power steering is marvellous, i can drive even by using only single finger..it is that much smooth, zero cabin noise, i have touched the speed of 150 Kmph n feel zero noise

      Final Words Great work by Hyundai for lauching great feature rich car in this segment.

      Areas of improvement Hyundai need to work little towards fuel Economy.

      Exterior and interior look n style are superb, comfort, space are excellent,Fuel Economy is bit less

      Exterior You take the car out and be the apple of the eye for onlookers, that the feeling I get when I go out. 10/10 for the style, looks and the exterior. My Pristine Blue is worht a value for money.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Have got loads of options in it when compared to rivals. me being a 6 feet guy find it easy and spacious when am driving and seated in the rear as well. Ride comfort is really good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Difficult to drive as this is my first vehicle however, I find it pretty decent. Its not very powerful and on full load plus AC its little bit on the backside. However, an average mans needs are very well met.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very good for handling.

      Final Words Good buy than going for the tested vehicles on road. Its worth the looks.

      Areas of improvement Could have made LED Backlight, little bit more powerful engine at leats the petrol variants.

      Exterior is verynice and attrective force to look vhicle repetedly. in one word AWESOME.With some feature left (deshbord's quality& look, folding armrest ln rear seat etc.) overall features in interior is best with space & comfort in its class of vhicles.Can say value for money.Citywise engine is fit & perfact so is fule economy. Gear shifting is not so smooth needs to be little improvement . Stearingwheel operats very very smoothly.Engine is NOISELESS, hasselfree, throttle free very nice. Ride/drive of car gives passionate richfeeling.

      Finaly I can say Best in Class,Value for each panny of money. Improvement:After sale servise/parts, continue improvment in quality.

      Exterior - the car came in august 2014 in india and when i saw the car on road i was mesmerised by the exteriors after all the thing which is eye catchy in every car is its exterior and hyundai has done very well in it .

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)-well stepping inside the cabin of the new ELITE i20 is a delight . if we compare 2 cars with the new ELITE (polo and punto) it gets the best in class features even in the sportz variant that is the middle variant. firstly i booked asta but the car tooked too much time to arrive in the showroom so i had to compromise in SPORTz variant but was not disappointed at all due to the awesome features of the new hatch . well the all the seats in the car are very comfortable. space given by the new brand is awesome.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox-it is the car of the year so i cannot say anything about engine performance its just awesome.well i just mentioned of the fuel economy only this factor of the car is not too good.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling- the car has ABS and EBD so oviusly the ride quality and handling is just tabataod!

       

      Final Words- love the car

       I would call this as the best looking car in the segment after VW Polo. Sleek design and good looking

       Good interiors and best features, My car is a 2010 model but still got the features that is considered the best in the new cars for now. good space and good comforts.

      sports varient is loaded with all that is is required in a good car.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Smooth engine, however lags in the pick up, disapointed with the pick up specialy in the second gear not a recommended if you like power.

      Fuel Economy would be moderate, I used to get around 17.5 in highways with the the rpm ticking within 2 to 2.5 range adn in city around 12 with AC on.

      Gear box : As said earlier gear changing was smooth but pickup in the second gear is not that great. 

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Good 

      Final Words

       You can go for this car if you are looking for comforts style and smooth drive, If you are looking in for power and oickup may be you may have to think twice.

      Areas of improvement  

       Mileage and also when it comes to maintenance I would consider this to be on a expensive side. Hyundai service does not have the concept of repairing any part they only replace the part even for the smallest things be a little careful about that. and parts are expensive when compared to Maruthi.

       

      Good things is Hyundai is established market in India and also service stations are available in most of the places. After Maruthi the highest number of service stations in India would be from Hyundai is an added advantage.
