      Buying experience is good, as I & my family was greeted well by dealership. Car performs well in rough roads as suspension is key things to notice. Initial pickup is low, specifically when loaded fully. Looks is the "elephant in the room"....simply awesome. Maintenance is on lower side. Needs more powerful engine, because of heavy sheet metals. Rear sit space(Leg Room) can be stretched.

      This car is a wonderful car within the price range of 7-8.5Laks. The look and design is amazing, a new kind of headlight pattern and bottom placed fog lamp is very attractive. More over the tail light and tail section design of the car make it as comparable to a European Car. The fit and finish and build quality is very good ie we can understand it from the weight of doors, bonnet and dickey also the quality of plastic used in the interior is up to mark. The cabin instrumentation and space usage is good. The blue lighting across the steering and instrumentation in the car cabin at night gives a cockpit view and is a treat for our eyes. The steering mounted switches are very convenient for controlling the music related operations. The Cabin is spacious and plenty of bottle holders are given. The driver seat is provided with height adjustment option so we can set the seat to our convenience and the seat is very comfortable too. The 2nd row seat can accommodate 3 normal sizes passengers. Considering the 2nd row seat the thigh support is good but the leg room is not enough for a tall person, for an average person it is fine. If we lift the bonnet and watch the engine bay we can see plenty of space is wasted there ie the engine and components doesn't occupy all the space under the bonnet. If this space is cleverly used the length of the bonnet section can be reduced and the same length can be used to increase the leg room of 2nd row seat. Even though rear AC went is given it's effect on rear passengers is very low. The boot capacity is sufficient. The rear window area is small and if rear passengers put some objects on the rear parcel tray the rear visibility of the driver through cabin ORVM is not possible. The high plus point of this car is it's riding experience. The steering, clutch, gear and brake is very light so that we can drive easily in the high city traffic @10-20km. On good roads specially at highways we would not aware of the speed till we look at speedometer because the car is very stable. This car is fun to drive specially on village roads having turns and curves. The handling at corners is very good and predictable and body roll is very low. The suspension and R16 tyres absorbs all most all shocks from the road and makes the journey very comfortable. The refinement of the engine is absolutely brilliant and so that no noise is coming from the engine all most all the time. The light steering and clutch make this an everyday use car because the driver need not invest much energy for driving this car irrespective of traffic and type of road. With 5 passengers and turning on the AC will put this car to a very struggling stage specially on hilly roads, with 5 passengers and without AC it seems to be just OK but not up to mark. Considering the above situation, also the weight and size of the car, the 1.2L 82 bhp engine is not enough so I wish this car should come with at least 1.4L-1.5L engine having 90-100 bhp in order to succeed in any situation. In normal situations the 1.2L 82bhp engine is fine. I usually don't use AC because I am from Kottayam District Kerala and here the pollution and temperature level is very low so that this engine can perform it's function very well and I can enjoy the same. The mileage of this car is around 13-16 on good roads and below 10 on bad roads/city traffic that is not bad considering this car's weight, size and R16 tyres but not great too. The ground clearance is also low considering the condition of the village roads so it can be upto 175-180mm. The yearly/10000 km maintenance cost of this car is below Rs.3000. The quality of the service is also appreciable. I suggest this car to everyone who are in search of a premium petrol hatch which offers everything except high mileage(18-20km/l)

So, here I have provided some of the elite’s advantages & disadvantages, have a look Advantages Due to the fluidic design the i20 has stylish look as compared to its rivals in the market. The seats are very comfortable and spacious as they provide the excellent back support while in the back seat the three people can sit happily. Hyundai cars have the excellent after sales service & the resale value in India. Last but not the least, the I20 comes with the loaded features on its top ends variants like Driver frontal airbag, Front passenger frontal airbag, Rear sensors with camera & ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Despite all the positive features of the i20, there are some of the major drawbacks. Let’s see cons of Hyundai Elite I20, Disadvantages The most evident negative is the lack of safety features in all variants except the top end model. If you are not going for top-end model, then you would be missing out saving safety equipment. Engine feels underpowered The Hyundai Elite I20 is too expensive in comparison to its rivals specially the diesel variants.

      Everything is great about this car. Feels confident while driving. Rear View camera good. Rear Sensors great. ABS okay AC not that chiling Cons- Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage Low Mileage A few more torque and bhp would have been better. I guess We have it in the 2018 model.

      Exterior - the car came in august 2014 in india and when i saw the car on road i was mesmerised by the exteriors after all the thing which is eye catchy in every car is its exterior and hyundai has done very well in it .

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)-well stepping inside the cabin of the new ELITE i20 is a delight . if we compare 2 cars with the new ELITE (polo and punto) it gets the best in class features even in the sportz variant that is the middle variant. firstly i booked asta but the car tooked too much time to arrive in the showroom so i had to compromise in SPORTz variant but was not disappointed at all due to the awesome features of the new hatch . well the all the seats in the car are very comfortable. space given by the new brand is awesome.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox-it is the car of the year so i cannot say anything about engine performance its just awesome.well i just mentioned of the fuel economy only this factor of the car is not too good.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling- the car has ABS and EBD so oviusly the ride quality and handling is just tabataod!

       

      Final Words- love the car 

       

      Areas of improvement - just in fuel economy in the petrol variant.

      Exterior : This is one of the great looking premium hatchback .The looks are stunning especially the Red Passion colour.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Very nice features , however hyundai should have given this car a touch screen with camera & navigation in built.Hyundai should also have provided the rear power socket for the passengers sitting at the back.

      Space is ok but I would have liked if it was more spacious at the rear .

      Comfort wise this car is really great.The noise insulation is quite good as well.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox  : hmmm , this is where I feel hyundai could have added more life into the engine .Engine no doubt is good but when the vehicle is carrying full load & A/C on ,it becomes irritating , you need work on the gears .My maruti swift is a real charmer .

      Fuel Economy : have not tested yet 

      Gearbox : one of the finest , very easy & smooth .Handy when you are in traffic .

       

      Ride Quality & Handling : Good ride handling & quality .Quite effortless in city , one of the nice city cars . 

       

      Final Words  : Elite I20 is a stylish cars  with good features .Hyundai could have done better with the Petrol Engine but I am not complaining ,since the engine is super refined , quiet & easy to drive .It is one of the best city cars & of course the backing of Hyundai after sales service .

       

      Areas of improvement  : Engine Power,Air bags for the rear passengers .

The seats are designed for a truly comfortable experience, and this feature is a boon for drivers on Indian roads.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox With a fuel efficiency of 22.54 kilometers per liter, the Elite i20 sportz definitely scores on the mileage factor. The engine hums smoothly no matter at what speed the car is at. Changing gears synchronizes smoothly with the engine performance.

      Ride Quality & Handling The ergonomically designed seats, adequate space, engine performance make the ride “a dream”, and the road grip and clearance make “handling” of difficult roads a “confident proposition” in all seasons!

      Exterior Exterior design is just amazing, especially the hexagonal grill and the rear lambs

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Upto the mark. Classic

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is good. Getting 14 kms on highways which is not that convincing. Gearbox is smooth and easy to shift.

      Ride Quality & Handling Giving good comfort for long drives. No backpulling. Easy to handle. Loved when we had a drive through a ghat section with full of turns and curves.

      But even I felt the same with the breakpads. Whenever I take the car for the first time in a day, I could see some kind of knocking sound from the front side. I took it to the service center, but that sound was not there by the time I reached there. Again I had experienced the same issue multiple times, which lasts for only the initial 5 to 10 minutes. Again I took it to the service center and another technician informed that this could be an issue inbetween breaks due to moisture and it cannot be fixed; which was not a satisfying answer.

      Final Words Good vehicle apart from these issues

      Areas of improvement Need to add Distance to Empty option. Need to improve on pickup when the car is fully occupied.

      Exterior

       I would call this as the best looking car in the segment after VW Polo. Sleek design and good looking

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Good interiors and best features, My car is a 2010 model but still got the features that is considered the best in the new cars for now. good space and good comforts.

      sports varient is loaded with all that is is required in a good car.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Smooth engine, however lags in the pick up, disapointed with the pick up specialy in the second gear not a recommended if you like power.

      Fuel Economy would be moderate, I used to get around 17.5 in highways with the the rpm ticking within 2 to 2.5 range adn in city around 12 with AC on.

      Gear box : As said earlier gear changing was smooth but pickup in the second gear is not that great. 

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Good 

      Final Words

       You can go for this car if you are looking for comforts style and smooth drive, If you are looking in for power and oickup may be you may have to think twice.

      Areas of improvement  

       Mileage and also when it comes to maintenance I would consider this to be on a expensive side. Hyundai service does not have the concept of repairing any part they only replace the part even for the smallest things be a little careful about that. and parts are expensive when compared to Maruthi.

       

      Good things is Hyundai is established market in India and also service stations are available in most of the places. After Maruthi the highest number of service stations in India would be from Hyundai is an added advantage.

      best looking hatchback with all the features loaded at an unbelivable price.

      this is my 5 th hyundai car so graduated from santro to i20 to elite. the asta option has got all the features of a sedan but almost 405 of the price. keyless entry , auto headlights , touchscreen AVN and lots more. the engine is smoother and most importantly the ride quality is far superior to the older generation i20, bigger A/c means greater cooling effect and the rear vents are great help if u travelling with more people. the only flaws i can say is that hyundai should have not removed the auto rain sensing wipers and ecm rear view mirror from this model when it is available in the ASTA.also need the mileage and kms remaining before empty incorporated in the dispaly but this is a must buy car if u looking at a sub 10 lakhs car for city and highway usagae.The AVN is absolutely great , so are the 6 speaker system with great bass. 

       

      great features like auto headlights, keyless entry , follow home lights, AVN with mapsabsence of rain sensing wipers and ECM rear view mirror in the asta option
