Don't go on looks of the car. Don't trust the honda brand for this particular car. Car is defective from production itself. All the cars not uniformly made. Car is vibrating alot while reversing. Car won't go in reverse on a steep slope. Poor pickup from a stand still position. Suspension of brand new is making noises. Glove is opening itself on small jerks. I am from jodhur rajasthan and I bought this car from only dearlership in my city PARAS HONDA. I brought home my car on 10/06/2018 and immediately started experiencing problem with reverse gear as every time the car was vibrating heavily while reversing. Pickup of the car is also not even.
Now what happened is that on very same day I told the person who sold me this car that there is some problem and he told me w'll look into it tomorrow. Next day they checked the car and acknowledged that yes the is vibrating and asked for 2 days from me so I waited for two days but got no answer from them. Then again I went to the showroom asking them to stop my RTO processing till my issue is resolved, so they asked me to meet their manager MR. P.K. Roy and his answer to me was that he won't stop the RTO processing as he can not because they have link, quoting him "NO LENA DENA" with RTO and its now between you and RTO. When I finally asked for RTO receipt for money transfer to them he said aapka processing hold pe rakh diya gaya hai as requested by you.
He again got the car checked from a different service personel which as he mentioned is his best guy and his job is reporting car problems and customer feedback. Firstly he refused to accept any problem in the car but when we took a joint trail of the car only then he agreed to all the issues. When i told the manager that many other buyers are reporting same problems and even showed him some customer reviews, he said this is all rubish and unauthentic. So to clear my doubt he asked me to drive another new honda amaze petrol vx model with the same service guy and during the drive we both experinced the same vibration when in reverse gear, he told that to the manager and he promised me that he will takeup this issue with honda technical department. I asked him to take the car back as it is defective and tell honda that customer is not accepting this car. He refused to take the car back saying "k main ab ye kisko bechunga kharab car and company bhi vapas nai legi".
I have taken in written from them that they have got the car check and have acknowledged all the problems and also that they are not accepting the car back and i am taking it against my will. On following visit manager told my elder brother that fine we will replace your car so asked us to drive another car and as it tourned out this new car also had the same problem and again we left from there with a false promise of solution and communication with Honda. Mean while I myself had contacted honda through mail and their 121 trol free no 1800 113 121 and told them my complete ordeal and got back nothing but false promises of solution and communication with dealership. Only mail that i have got back is sorry for inconvenience and we are looking into it. They told me that sir you will get a call back from our seniors and dealership, I am still waiting for that call. On my next visit to the showroom the manager tells me that honda has replied to my concern and told us that there is no problem with my car.
They forwared that mail to me which said yes we have check your car upon your request and have found no anomaly in your car. How did they checked my car when i was with the whole time. Dealership said that they made a video of my car when I initially brought it for checking and on that basis company has made this decision. I asked them to provide me the video which they have sent , manager's reply was that 'this is there internal matter and why are you getting into it', I told him that video is evidence and u'll have give it to me and upon that he told me sorry sir video is lost we don't have it anymore, I told him aapne report mail ki hai company ko toh mail pe report and video dono hoga ya company se mangwalo, then came the biggest shock in all this, manager Mr. P.K ROY tell me as I qoute him " were you blind when you bought this car, did you not look a test a drive before buying" I told him yes I did then he said so now you should not complain. Finally a person who said he represents honda told me that sir ye vibration ka issue hamari sab cars me hai kisime kam kisime zada or kisime nai hai and ye company ki technical guidelines me hai.
I told him sir if thats the case then this vibration should be in all the cars and even in test drive car and honda should mention this fact in their advertisements and brochures. Finally after all this I have FILED A CASE against company and dealership for CHEATING and SELLING a defective product in CONSUMER COURT. Anyone who either has doubt on me or is facing same problem with their car can contact me on my no. 8769XXXXXX. If your new car has a problem from very beginning then don't settle with it and don't settle with repairs and parts replacement. It is in your consumer rights that you are entitled to a complete, genuine and uniform product be it a needle a phone or a car. Its in your right to ask for a complete replacement or a complete refund.

I was a proud owner of a Honda City IDTECH car which I bought almost 1.5-2 years ago. Seeing the performance of the car and brand image of Honda, I decided to buy new Honda Amaze 2018 for my wife against Maruti Dzire that we first had thought of buying. We had pre-booked new Amaze, and got the delivery of car on 23rd May, and since then it has been very painful and frustrating experience.
I immediately noticed following major issues while driving the new Amaze for 1-2 days:-
The new Amaze was bought from following dealer – Delight Honda, Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road, New Delhi.
I have taken the vehicle back to the dealer two times now. First they were hesitant about issues, but after checks and inspection they also now acknowledge the problem, and have advised me that they are talking to Honda Technical R&D department for the resolution and the car might needs some change of parts. They also informed that they have come to know that same issues are reported (esp pickup and reverse) in other dealers as well by few other customers, and Honda Technical Department might take 7-10 days to come back and respond on the issue.
This all experience has now gone very frustrating knowing that new Amaze 2018 has got manufacturing defects, and the issues have now started surfacing on social media from different parts of country. I saw few posts and YouTube videos of other customers on internet.
Each moment of driving the new Amaze is now filled with disappointment and frustration, and I have started regretting my decision to buy Amaze over Dzire.
Please could you share and let us know if you are also facing the same problem? And what you did to actually get the issues sorted? What would be the process of refund of this faulty car should I wish to go for refunds and buy Dzire then?

My understanding like every Indian was as a brand name HONDA was good. This myth broke when I purchased a well hyped NEW HONDA AMAZE from Harmony Honda Chandigarh. When purchased the new car it has problems like not good average ~12, reverse gear sound issues, gear stucks etc. But the major problem found was with the car stereo it was not connecting for outgoing call to any phone. I raised the complain number 1-13151527931 & 1-12843526306 at HONDA customer care 121 & dealer end on 14th june in a hope that HONDA as a brand will rectify this & resolve this.
After that visited multiple times Harmony Honda chandigarh showcasing the issue with their teachnical team. Then starts the round to showcase issues with their vendor called Alpine at sector 35 Chandigarh. Everyone acknowledged the issues & just eveyone wrongly intimating that it will be replaced soon in 1-2 days we have done mails to HONDA.
Now when we are connecting to their customer care they are saying it will take time, One person saying 20 days, other 30 & finally when I spoke to GM harmony honda Jaswinder surprised that he never heard about the issue which was running from last 1 month & raised by me. Not sure what is the work after sale if they are not even knowing what issues are raised by customer after sale. He said it will take 45 days. I told everyone to give me in written over mail but no one responed till date with at least tentative date.
Another point if as a customer you look for after sale, you will be left with third party customer care, dealership who does not have direct connection with HONDA cars INDIA. No one from HONDA will connect you. They will never come to picture. Pathictic service post sale. I want to share this to all who even think about HONDA brand. Be careful & share this at least to stop someone to go with HONDA in future.
I lost my pataience today after 3 months completly following up the fake promises given by HONDA. NOW I am planing to file a consumer court complaint against harmony honda chandigarh & HCIL.

Comfort level is very good for all passengers especially legroom. Diesel NVH is ok. Pl Get diesel CVT all the roads becoming very congested with everincreasing fuel prices. I was using jazz 2015 model petrol MT.In three years of usage my left hip started paining untolarably.Petrol 1.2 MT engine not suitable for city driving you need to use clutch 300 % more than diesel counterpart. My pre jazz- santro was a better car.
I went with the jaaz in 2015 believing it will be better than santro. Yes its better in comfort seating, looks, and NVH. But believe me Honda 1.2 L Gear ratio at lower speed is pathetic pathetic pathetic. Don't destroy your self by going for petrol manual. My usage is 40-70 Km daily on city. The new Amaze Diesel CVT is eye-opener. Pl Get a diesel version. Its smooth, powerful, comfortable. I got diesel V-CVT costing 10.3 Lakhs.
But you must know it doesn't have a reverse camera and touch screen.I installed Sony XAV AV 5000 Capacitative touch screen Android auto/Apple carplay system. With Honda Branded Seatcover,Vinyl flooring the price reached 10.70 lakhs. But I feel its worth it. I witnessed a huge tree fell on another Jazz. Directly on top of it and witstood the tree all inmates were safe. Parallaly I seen a maruthi completely destroyed along with lives of inmates. I believe in stong structure and quality of honda that's the premium price. The above I witnessed in Guindy rajbhavan road during cyclone by 2016 dec. Buy Diesel its good.
Edit: Heavy Screching Noise can be heared occasionally under the chassis. But complaints to the Manasarovar honda porur ignored it also I mentioned it again in the first service but they said nothing abnormal.i Reccorded the noise and shown to them then they found some sim in front right breaking rubs against. After that my Mileage improved dramatially from 11 in city to 17-18 Range.
One more incident after sim rubbing diagnoise I was told all the tyre pressure was checked and filled with Nitrogen air and pressure checked as soon I started my tpms reported 27 psi from the front right wheel I called them and told I can prove you havent checked all wheels but only front right then they asked apology. also their air filling mechine not calibrated so when they set it for 32 in fills only 27 they blindly belive the display in the mechine and dont have hand held pressure testing. Just pathetinc.
I confirmed that by checking in tpms as well at a reputed tyre shop. also while releasing the break it moves with a screatch like loose chassis response from the Manasarovar is "OK: like I said "bye" One More incident on Aug 28 Morning while I was about to wash My car in private covered parking lot noticed the 6 inch crack in the Front wind shield. Previous day night I parked the car and not noticed anything on visiting the Manasarovar honda they say it could be due to stone hit but nothing on crack to prove the stonehit. They show a tiny not a needle head size refraction as stone hit.
All the experianced drivers at my office say it couldbe due to small unbalance in chassis or Heat related crack due to highlevel soundproffing in cabin which will make the crack under heat. I had only insurance (no bumper to bumper) so they wanted to charge 3500 to do under insurance. also the the bodyshop adviser advises me to make the crack more by damaging it with stone. Im sure its the Manufacturing defect but they dont want to take reponcibility and conveniently blames the customer. Also when we stop and move I could hear a metal noise like whole body is loosly fit on the chassis.
Still I cant believe the Honda canbe so much bad experiance. its lot a way below my previous experiance with Jazz 2015. My suggesstion Hold your Buying ideas till they sortout. My Phone 9-3-8-0-X-X-X-X-X-X My car No is T-N-1-X-X-X-X-X-X. The Horrible service dealer is called Manasarovar Porur.While i should appriciate Sales at the same point is EXCELLENT. Made the biggest miskate of my life by trusting the Honda brand and by buying this good looking box on wheels. From the first day itself this car is only giving me trouble and nothing else good.
Pickup in 1st and 2nd gear is so dull and underpowered that everytime while going upwards on a flyover this car struggles and everytime I have to turn off the AC and then push hard in 1st and 2nd gear. Can't even think of overtaking any car.
Car is VIBRATING ALOT everytime I put in reverse gear and now sometimes in front gear too. Honda says we are known for our smooth engines and now they tell me this vibration is part of our technology and all our amaze models vibrate like this and other brands car also vibrate like this. I have never experienced any sort of vibration like this in any other car and specially never experienced this problem in Honda Amaze's TEST DRIVE CAR.
The car you get is supposed to be the exact resemblance of the car that you TEST DRIVE, but in my case test drive car and my car are poles apart. That' how Honda is cheating it's customers. Interiors look good but are extremely cheap as inner cabin always makes crackling noise when road is not good.
Buying experience is always good but what matters the most is after sales services and after sales behaviour. Firstly they don't want to accept the faults and defects of their car, then they behave rudely once the car is sold and now they say there is no solution for this as of now and when Honda will provide a solution then we will REPAIR it.
Why Honda is selling a FAULTY car on the first instance. Honda as a brand has fallen really LOW and has become very CHEAP AND FRAUD. They don't realise that it's not just money but it is people's hard earned money that they are looting.
