Amazing Amaze Desiel

I bought the Honda Amaze Desiel EX in Aug 2014. i did not wanted to wait for dilwali offers. I have Driven around 5000 km which includes plains and hilly areas of himlayans. i have driven this car for 8 hours continuously and could drive more after reaching destination. Two services of the car are complete now. The thrid one in which the engine oil would be changed is still pending. 

This car definality love you back. It is smooth car, doesnot gives feeling of racing car like the swift. But reaches to 100 Km/hr faster.

I have decided to write this reveiw because everyone complain about the noise in in cabin but as per my experience, if you are driving this car in eco mode, only voice you could hear is of air and your music system. The car runs extremly smothly at the speed of 60-70 Km/hr without any noise but if you push the accelerator really hard then there is a noise ( which i would rarely do and drive my car above 100 km ).

The car is giving a good average of around 21+ kmpl in plains and 19+ kmpl in hilly areas.

Exterior

It have the best looks in its segment that is sub 4 meter sedan. The front looks are boring but the back and side looks are gorgeous. (Although i own this car, but whenever a amaze passes by my side i can avoid looking at it-- as they say Mind cannot avoid a attrative faces)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interiors are flat and boring specially the music system. Hence i have upgraded the music system with pioneer AVH 2690 touchscreen music screen and blaupukt speakers at the back and back camera(Rs 25K) and now it looks great.

The seats are comfortable specially the back seats (three punjabis can fit in with full comfort. i wish i could sit at the back seat but i cannot give uo the driving seat because of fun).

The AC is good 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

i donot have to say anything about this. 1499 cc. Good fuel economy and gear box is smooth ( more over i am not a automotive engineer) only thing i know is that it is fun driving my car and overtaking is not a issue.

Ride Quality & Handling

 donot let me start .. bah bah bah bah .. moral of the story i love, enjoy and have a great time driving this car.

Final Words

We have a swift zdi, toyota etios and honda amaze in our family but i would always perfer driving honda amaze. It is value for money And i am in love with this car (which means the reveiw could be emotionally biased)

Areas of improvement 

Interiors requires upgradion.
