Zero goodwill for Ford after v poor experience at Wasan Ford service

 

Exterior Looks modern and business like but not the same as Vento nor as sleek as the City.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Reasonably good but not the same finish as Vento or city.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superbly responsive 1.4 litre petrol engine, great fun to drive and overtake. Mileage very poor at about 8.5 kmpl in peak Mumbai city traffic.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Reasonably good although a bit bumpy on potholes.

 

Final WordsEverything good about a Ford vehicle is brought to zero once you experience Ford service. The used car I had bought was under Total Maintenance Plan. It has been an aweful experience trying to get the last free service from Wasan Ford. The regional service manager was initially not helpful either, till I made threats of taking up the matter with Ford headoffice in Chennai.

 

Areas of improvement Overall, my experience with Ford can be summarized in three words of recommendation to Ford India: Service! Service!! Service!!!
