    Exterior

     The looks are definately eye catching and the car really looks awesome and people stop on the roads to actully turn and look at the car, the rear tyre actully looks very appealing and so are the side claddings and the turn indicators on ORVM, the headlight is propery mounted and gives a very good vision during the night, also to mention the headlight levelor actully works and helps a lot to the diffrent driving speeds.

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

     The interiors are comfortable and the dashboard is nice with the blue color used in the console lighting, the Manuall AC in my variant that is Trend is very effective and i have not been able to use in with full cooling mode even in the Delhi heat, the knobs are very nice and really controls the Aircon well

     

    The Audio to mention is really good quality and you wont see a need to get a market upgrade as the sound quality is really decent, the position of USB is awkward and may stop you from seeing the audio information screen, also the Audio screen is hardly visible in the dayligh due to its upward elevation

     

    The central locking system is good, but when you unlock the car it turns on the headlight in parking mode which may truoble if you have someone who cleans your car so while he cleans the lights are on.

     

    Seats are comfortable and adjusts well for any hieght the steering mounted controls are good and comfortable to handle

     

    The position of the Clutch pedal is a big problem as the clutch fot will always touch the steering rod and you will feel the steering turning while using the clutch.

     

    A lot of bottle holder space makes it easier to carry the drinks etc....

    Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

     Engine performance is really good at 90 BHP i think the engine performance is much better then any comparison such a I20 which has a same engine in the Diesel varient, the gears are smooth and you really do not have to change much of the gears in traffic which is very comfortable to drive in traffic like Delhi, one can drive upto 100 on 4th gear and it wont make much of noice which is reallly comfortable.

     

    Fuel Economy - i have been able to get a economy of 16 KMPL on the first fill with monsoon trafic of Delhi and its suppose to go up after 10,000 KMS of run in the diesel engine as the same happened to my Punto.

    Ride Quality & Handling

    Ride quality is satisfactory with the cost involved, ofcourse yu are supposed to get a better suspension in Duster but then the price involved for the sammilar model is higher by 2.5 lacs, it handles potholes and bad road really well and you would feel 100% better then any hatch or Sedan if you have with almost the same cost.

    Ground clerance is same as of Scorpio so really dont have to bother while getting off the road to pass some cars in traffic, ofcourse its not a offroader but out roads in NCR are nevertheless to make you feel a need of high GC

    The handling i believe is really good thier isnt a body roll like you feel in Quanto or Scorpio but yes the Duster has a better control over this aspect too.

    I must mention this is a very easy to drive car and even a bigginer can really handle this car eassily as the higher sitting position makes it easier to drive.

    The steering is really good and i was able to control the car well on speeds of 140KMPH and over taking the vehicles at that speed while changing lanes, i fealt confident enough to drive it at a speed of 160 KMPH

     

    Final Words

     The car is value for money without any doubt as this is my third car and i think its been better of them all, i have driven cars higher in budget then this and think this is far better then most of them.

    Areas of improvement  

     Clutch postion / Parking lights turn on while unlocking / Buzzer system of lock and unlock and some sort of antitheft alarm as it seems to make no sounds on anything at all specially if a door is left ajar and car is locked it doesnt make any sound and may confuse that its been locked (this i think is most important)

     

    Eye catching looks, performance, controlleft leg touches Steering rod while using clutch, Audio screen is invisible during daylight
