Areas of improvement
Driver hand rest is too small and should be little tilted down so that the forearm reached the gear
The bottom suspension sounds when brakes are suddenly applied should be looked into
The dark spot at the right makes right turns risky as one cannot see the right whilemaking turns
Front glove compartment is coming out because of loose fitting should be looked into
Good kinetic style body, ecosport will dash in the air like a bulletMinor hiccups which are negligible

Standing close to Ecosport - When you approach the vehicle to touch it, that itself makes your adrenaline flushing high.
Open the Door to Drive and the Car calls you inside. Key Less Press Button entry appears like a gentle handshake with a Macho Man.
Be on the Driver seat and you feel the the same is meant for you. It hugs you tight unlike its competition Duster where in you feel sitting on a undid Truck Chasis.
Press the Button and it starts Whispering. Ignition is not as smooth as a City but definitely score many points over its arch rival Duster.
Soft Ignition - Mildly Hard Clutch Pedal and Smooth Gear Operation - Yummy. vrooooooom it goes.
Its is a Driver's True Delight.

Exterior
Extremely funky and futuristic design with eye-pleasing cuts and creases. This car is a big fish in a small pond and will surely defend its crown for quite a time.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interiors are spacious for the front but a little disappointing at the back. This is, of course, a techy toy by the Detroit giant. Even the base model is loaded with satisfying features at a nominal price. The car is comfortable ,no issues with that, but I think the rear seats are a little more hard than required. But the alluring dashboard design was the main cause behind choosing the ES over Duster.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is quite responsive but there's a sharp notorious noise like that of a genrator when the diesel engine starts but then it goes smoothly. Its better to drive the car under 2000 rpm while the turbo kicks in around 1495rpm. Fuel economy is fine as an SUV and is around 18kmpl and no issue with gearbox too.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is good but a little depressing than Duster's but still I am satisfied and the car always seems to be in control whenever driving in highways or roads(with bumps)😄
Final Words
I know I have got a complete value for money and I like it very much(because of its dark grey color also). There are some ifs-and-buts but its fine. Besides, I'm totally satisfied with my polite and responsive dealer
Areas of improvement
That generator kind of a noise should be controlled. Other than that I don't have any problem

This is not a SUV, but an alternate for SUV, so you should not expect extra space. It is little bit more than swift, but it is you who need to decide what space you need.
feature wise it is great. even in base modal it has almost everything we desire in a luxery car. and it is very comfortable. Cant comment if you come after driving other luxery cars but after swift, it is almost same ( swift I drove for 6 years and that is best car in that segmnent ).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is good, speed is also good but Fuel economy I am not very sure. seems like i am getting somewhere around 14-15 but its too early to comment and i would like to see that after first service. Its 700 km yet. Gearbox is bit low, but i am getting use too.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is Ok, initially i struggled specially with the steering Horn, which is the worst part., It is hard and only in the middle, so people with small hands or whoever are use to using horns almost covering 70% areas with steering will find difficult.
Another issue we found ( not me though) that the perople with short height have to face another problem if they wear turban. The head space when you are near the steering could be very less for many.
Final Words
Definetly a value for money but if you will compare with other high end SUVs then it is something un necessary. For first times or under budget this is a value for money and feel of SUV. what else you expect in this money :-) I still miss driving swift, but started liking it as well.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interors are best in class better than duster infact i am sorry to say duster have the worst. you sit in the driver seat of ecosport and you have a composed secure feeling with your adrenaline pumping press the clutch pedal start the push button everything inside the car comes to life. the beasty front console is excellent and the tiny little screen is positioned at the right place. space to my surprise was fairly ok even in duster middle seat rear passenger is in trobule, yes if large space is what you are looking innova is your car.

Has a good presence on the road and the high position gives a good view all around
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are very firm though offering good lumbar support. SOfter cushioning would make it feel a little more luxurious especially when you are driving a top-of-the -line car. WOuld have expected this as a matter of right.
The audio and BT functions very helpful . Sound system is adequate .The fabric for the seats could have been better and with an option for leather seats. Provision for a reversing camera on the front panel would have been helpful

sluggish response on D. very peppy on manual gear change on S. confortable ride especially during the monsoon flooded roads

stiff suspension and tending towards a very bouncy ride. feels rather unstable at 80+ around corners. drives very well on the highway.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Iam decently getting a mileage of 20-22 km with AC in highways. In city driving also without AC this fuel economy is getting, which is an excellent feature of this car. Gear play and Engine performance is also very impressive.
Ride Quality & Handling
This car feels a safe and smooth driving to the passengers even if the road is not perfect. Its suspension is perfect and handling is very smooth and soft.

A perfect SUV in this segment. Once again FORD proved its excellence in SUV segment
Areas of improvement
Ford must stop hiking the price of Eco Sport. Ford must take some serious steps in order to deliver this car at right time so as to attract more customers and be a King in this SUV segment.

Final Words When I purchased my first SUV or whatever, it's a dream come true for me and my family and when I drove the vehicle it's really a pleasure to maneouve on heavy traffic road and also on Highways. The vehicle is quite handy like a kid in your hands. I really apprecite interiors especially the music system and the a/c is wonderful.
Areas of improvement May be the body could have made a bit stronger!!! And most important the fuel cap is quite problamatic., most of the people does not know how to open in pumps.

We'll there have been many cars In india till now local and international brands, never have I screen such a long waiting, looks like company is doing it on purpose to increase the demand. Y the hell they took such a booking when they knew they can't deliver. Well the car an b good but ford dint take care of the delivery, If they can't deliver now what if in maintenance they say again no spare parts or u have to wait for months to get the part and the car is stalled in the work shop, I guess that's something to think.
I am waiting since June and till today car not delivered every time I call they say next month, hope they deliver and hope to get. The spare parts at the time of servicing
Ford get up before it's too late, but if u ready to pay premium it's available all dealers making money, so it looks like they doing to make money and fool the coustomers.

Booked AT version in July but the delivery was not assured by dealer so changed to Titanium Diesel (White). Got delivery on 15th Oct. Have driven around 600 km so far. Earlier car was Swift Dzire ZDi. Wanted a car with soft clutch (or AT version) with high ground clearance.

Beautiful, soft curves. Good Mini SUV.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Very good leg space in Front and back though the seats width and length is reduced to give it more roomy look (Very clever of Ford). But still comfortable. Auto climate functioning is very different than Dzire. Have to reduce the temperature by 2 degree to get similar cooling effect. The indicators and washer controls are inter-changed than normal system available in India. Needs a little practice but still I make mistake in emergency situation due to old habbit. Surprisingly, there is no option for continueous high beam. Just only dipper. The position front lights are not on the steering but separately positioned. A little vogue. Mobile Phonebook can be stored in the Sync and can be dialed from central panel itself. Music system is Good. A pillar is very thick and blocks the view especially on turning. Needs to careful on turning as you do not see footpath and people crossing the road.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is adequately powered and drive is smooth. Do not get sudden thrust on start of Turbo like other Diesel engines. The power is very linear and hardly get any engine sound in the cabin. Gear throw is just like sedan and clutch is also soft unlike Duster or Scorpio. The best FE got is 22.2 kmpl on the drive on ring road at Delhi (only upto 4th gear, never got chance to put in 5th gear). The instantaneous display of FE helps you in getting good FE (Should be made compulsory in all vehicles to make people know how get best FE). Drive steady without shooting and braking at around 1500 to 2000 rpm. Driving in fifth gear does not increase the FE but driving in correct gear is more important. Overall FE at present is around 18.5 kmpl. I sure, one can get FE of 25 kmpl on highways.
Ride Quality & Handling
Small potholes are no problem with 16" wheel but has more body roll on bad roads if compared to sedans. Steering is very soft on slow speed which is very helpful in city driving and progessively become heavier with increased speed. I feel it becomes more heavy than required or we are not used to.
Final Words
Great Mini SUV but over priced with reduced featured of Push Start/Stop and auto key sensing door opening which were the features of Titanium model at the time of booking. Even the price were increased by Rs.38,000 with reduced features!!!!! All sucessful models does the same and make fast buck from innocent buyers as you cannot sue them for it. But as car, it is perfect and fun to drive.

Doors are pretty heavy as expected from Ford. Needs to throw them hard.
