Good looking when compared within this segment of cars. The rear design is very good, Lovely.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Space is excellent with amazing boot space. Dashboard is good. Seating is good, comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Very very good peppy engine. You can easily touch 110 KM/H. And car looks stable even in high speeds.
I drove it 5000 kms. Fuel Economy in City its approx 13-14 km/l & on Highways above 18.7 km/l.
Gearbox is good. I like position of the gearbox.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is good. Handling is very easy in city as well as on highways.
I drove my car on very bad roads as well as on NH.
But when you drive contineously more than 200 kms then it gives noise & feels needs to stop the car but this can be in control when you change the gear 5th to 4th & switch off the AC.
Final Words
A good buy at the current price at entry level cars for new buyers. Over all a good package.
Don`t expect more from this segment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The Engine pickup is good, but definately not happy with 12KM mileage and that also in a place like Greater Noida (which is like driving in a highway). The Gearbox is also not as smooth as compared to cars like Hyundai i10 and Maruti Celeron
Ride Quality & Handling
The pickup is good which was my major reason for buying a 1200cc car, but the mileage has really disappointed me and even the after sales experience. I had purchased this car from dealer in Noida Sector 2 (Neo Nissan)
Final Words
The Gearbox is not smooth, Mileage is poor, looks like my decision to be excited about the pickup of the car compared to Eon, Kwid or Celeron turned out to be wrong.
Areas of improvement
Mileage needs to be relooked majorly and expect the sales staff to be more honest to their words and commitments.

Interior & Features :- Very basic.
Space & Comfort :- Very spacious , comfort is average .
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine :- Powerful and stable though a bit noisy
Fuel Economy :- Moderate 13km/ltr in city ( 1200 cc engine ) i dont expect more.
Engine performance :- Top of the line ( Though a bit noisy engine), tested at speed of +120km/hr very stable and powerful.
Handling :- Handling is nice, better than likes of wagon r and i10
Ride quality :- Huge scope of improvement, even small pot hole give bumpy sounds, cabin insulation is bad.
Final Words Engine and space are the key reason for buying this car . Milege is around 13 km / ltrs in busy calcutta traffic and 15km/lts in highway which is good.
Areas of improvement Cabin insulation and Suspension are the two things where nissan needs to work . A rear wiper and few more features in the interior would be a plus. Overall I feel it is a good package.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is just moderate. Adequate space is available. No MP3 player etc. Most of the things you need to buy as accessories.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. Fuel Economy - Getting 18 to 19 in Highways and avg 14 kmpl inCity with A/C.

Final Words Overal Value for Money and the best among the same segments.
Areas of improvement Suspension needs improvement. Atleast in top end ABS,Airbag needs to be available.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious and has all features and controls required for first time car buyer.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I must thank Nissan and Datsun engineers for delivering such an excellent value for money car. What a super fuel efficient engine comes with Datsun GO (T)...!! Awesome, and I am loving it. It delivered 19+ kmpl mileage for the first 1100 kms. Gear shift patter is very smooth; initially it was very annoying but now I am changing gears comfortably.
Ride Quality & Handling Each part used in Datsun Go (T) has very high quality and durable; Riding @ 60-70 KMPH is very smooth. My car has attained sweet-speed @ 60 kmph. Even with 80 KMPH I drove and control GO very efficiently.
Final Words What a caaaar...!! Thank you Datsun for making GO such a nice looking, cozy, highly fuel efficient, value for money, very high degree of reliable and durable, secure, and cool car for INDIA. Your future is bright here in India. Please try to concentrate and conceptualize and improve service and dealership network. We will surely shy away from Maruti in the near future. And to add the beauty in design, driving comfort. Kudos to Datsun engineers...!!! Miles to go.!!!! Thank you.
Areas of improvement Bit noisy engine, gets less power when AC is on. However these are not areas of improvement. Indian roads are made for driving less than 60-80 KMPH. You cannot drive 80+ kmph in Indian roads.

Final Words Please give the proper traing to your service engineer's of all service center, especially Honnassiri Mysore because still they cannot rectify the door noise in my car. instead of that, they gave packing inside the door.
Areas of improvement While closing the door, it's making more noise. while changing the gare, it's too hard.
This news is first of a kind for the Indian car market as global automobile safety body, New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) has asked Nissan to withdraw Datsun GO from the Indian market. This comes after the Datsun GO and the Maruti Suzuki Swift failed the crash test and managed to get zero safety rating.
NCAP says that the Datsun GO failed miserably in the crash test and its body needs to be redesigned. The car was tested for front collision along with Maruti Suzuki Swift, where the former performed far worse. The test concluded that the body shell of the Datsun GO was so weak that even adding airbags would not protect passengers in case of a major accident. On the other hand, Nissan India said, ”The GO meets required local vehicle regulations in India. The automotive regulation standards in fast-growing countries are constantly evolving and as a global manufacturer, we are willing to adapt as well.”
"It is extremely disappointing that Nissan has authorised the launch of a brand new model that is so clearly sub-standard. As presently engineered, the car will certainly fail to pass the United Nations frontal impact regulation," said NCAP.
"In these circumstances, I would urge you to withdraw the Datsun GO from sale in India (and any other markets where it is being sold), pending a redesign of the car's body-shell to make it worthwhile to fit airbags," NCAP added.
However, this is easier said than done for our market. The road conditions here are different and so is the level of safety. But let’s also face the fact that Indian roads are one of the most dangerous roads in the world to drive on because of the lack of proper infrastructure and traffic sense.

Bad fuel eonomy, worst after sales service, fraud dealers, no safety features, no vehicle reliablity. Relationship managers do not attend your queries, you are made to sit at thier showroom for hours. Car did not meet our expectations.
Pathetic fuel average, both petrol and CNG does not give a fuel economy of more than 15. Infact Petrol version will give you more fuel average than CNG.
Ride Quality & Handling is worst, external body of the vehicle is almost like plastic, slight touch and the entire bumper will be dented.
Did not except such a pathetic quality from a Japanese manufacturer. This is the reason why sales of Nissan is continuosly dipping.
There is need to change the after sales service method since the current method is not just useless but it is also against the law. Vendors such as Royce Nissan should be terminated asap as they do not give proper bills and documentation.

Exterior Bumper and body - no strength at all. Bumper securing is very delicate and poor quality.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is good- seating is not comfortable for long drives.

Final Words Not at all worth buying. Customer support is also poor. Extended warranty has many issues - not worth it.
Areas of improvement Tyre Prada- poor quality, had to change the tyre within very first year of purchase, no response from cmpany regarding the same.
Horn- Needs replacement every 5-6 months- poor quality and poor service or incompetent technicians to find out the fault.
Extended warraty- taken for a toss - when claimed , made several complaints - nothing done till date. Car battery didnt last for even 3 yrs.
Rear wheel bearing- started giving noise only after 14000 kms- not covered under warranty program.

Areas of improvement Worst service from company, service station is good but company will not hear from hod of service station, no solustion of complain since last one year. Not even any company persons visited to look my vehical. Looking forward to solve problem, company is playing with our lives. inspits of planty of reminder to their customer care they request you to give time but no result, you are requested to please look to solve the promblem, today thats after one year I called to customer care but still my complain is not solved & not even customer care person try to inform company that this complain is pending since one year & yet not solved company never gives any information to claint you only allways to call service center, if you asked sever HOD persons he says he has informed to company but no revared come form company. At the outset, let me mention. I am a novice who just learnt driving around a month ago , so I am writing from my perspective. I have only driven santro (cng) other than this car.
Exterior Good looking, with hexgonal comb shape design and DATSUN boldy written on it.Smooth curves which give a nice feeling.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am OK with it.Seat is adjustible and comfotable. Power windows. Hand brake is below the dashboard.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is pwerful, fuel economy could have been better . Not driven much on highway , now that may be the reason.
Ride Quality & Handling Its comfortable. Gear transmission is smooth.Power steering gives nice tactile feeing.Powerful pick up .Responds nicely. No complaints from this department.Let me see as years go by how does it perform.
Final Words If you are thinking of buying a car in this price range, then this car must be considered ,at least take a test drive. I think my decision of buying this car was correct.
