Pleasantly different!

I test drove the Tucson GLS 4WD AT Diesel, 2.0 as part of evaluating our next buy. TBH, I was biased against it before the TD cos its close resemblance to the Creta and my grouse was why would I pay double the money and still people would think it's a Creta from the front look. I must say when I got inside the car, I was pleasantly surprised. Hyundai has always been a premier car maker and they didn't disappoint me at all! The interiors are really of high quality. The car stands tall with good ground clearance of 195 mm and gives the sense of safety over pot-holes and bad roads. The suspension is not too still like the ladder-on-frame SUVs although it would be grossly wrong to call it a true-blue SUV. At best it can be an awesome soft-roader. I would definitely recommend Tucson if you can't stretch your budget to 40+ lakhs to afford either a Fortuner or an Endeavour.
