Experience of FORD FIGO ZXI after 7000KM

 

Exterior Exterior found very attractive

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features like Audio system, staring adjustment etc are the impressive things.  Available space is really good in all hatchback models. I am getting the comfort feel while driving this car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance – Engine performance is really good. Pick-up is also good.  I have tried to run this car on speed of 130KMPH and observed the smooth running. Only they need to concentrate to reduce the humming sound when the car is running 1st and 2^nd gear. There should be minimum sound.

Fuel Economy I have driven 7000 KM during last 4 month. I have carried one service after completing 2300KM running. I am daily travelling 62KM and getting mileage of 14.5 to 15KM. I have traveled Mumbai – Pune twice and achieve mileage of 20KM on speed of 100~120 kmph which is good.

Gear Box I am not happy with gear box as the shifting movement in 1^st and 2^nd gear is not very smooth. I observed that if the speed is as per specified RPM then gear shifting is very smooth in 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th gear.  

Ride Quality & Handling Due to engine capacity we are getting the good quality ride. You can drive this car as per your need on highway. Performance and pick-up is really impressive.  

Final Words Good comfort Car for family and corporate management.

Areas of improvement 

 (1)    Glass Movement of rear window.  

(2)    Need Head Rest provision for rear seats

(3)    Need proper solution to avoid the disturbing noise during the car running especially  on rough roads.

(4)    Need to reduce the engine humming sound in 1^st and 2^nd gear running.

(5)    Need to increase the quantity of service centers net work.
