FORD FIGO, the COOL car

Exterior

 Ford FIGO looks really cool as the name indicates. figo=cool....i own a red figo, just love the color....stands out amongst the other cars..its 12ft long wide car hence yu get the added space for the boot..

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 lots of leg room for a hatchback (4+1), big spacious boot space, music system(kenwood) is really awesome...no need to upgrade it...the AC cools up the cabin pretty fast....basic features fitted into console...ALL packed for an indian family.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Ford legendary TDCi engine what else to say abt it..very gud throttle response with the turbo, it gives a mileage of 20km/lt in city(AC on) on highways give a 27km/lt...short throws in gear shift is huge factor for driving in city..Sleek...

Ride Quality & Handling

 this is the big PRO in this car...awesome handling..ride is very smooth n comfortable...ABS is an added advantage in braking...

Final Words

FIGO won the car of the year 2011, against really major competitions..still going strong..

we wanted to buy a hatchback with ABS at 6 lakh,

we chose the FIGO from TATA VISTA(poor interiors n exteriors),CHEVY BEAT(rear legroom n boot a BIG CON) , SWIFT ( figo is lot spacious compared n damn cheaper too) ...on the factors considered, i now own the COOL american buddy.

Areas of improvement  

If the car was wider n longer, it wud over throw all the competitions.

 

 

good fuel economy,superb handling, comfort & style, powerful AC,music, spacious bootno power rear windows(no big deal), fuel consumption varies with AC on(city), tilt steering missing
