This is the best car in its segment but I fear it does not go the Matiz went about.
Your dealers dont care about your wonderful product. I had got all my services done well in time.
All they did was washing, even in the last service nothing was done even the washing was horrible and it was pointed at the time of delivery. I had even complained to the company's personnel but nothing happened. some one month later I got a coupon for free washing.
I would not totally blame the only dealer in Lucknow and around, so they may be overloaded with the work. If that is so it is to be taken up by the company. Ultimately the comapny would suffer.
I have stopped going to the dealer in Lucknow and now I am thinking for an alternative service provider or I would sell the car for replacement.

Exterior Exterior looks is each ones perception, I personally like the simple yet elegant looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The space inside is excellent. The cars features is adequate considering the price of the car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Has sufficient power for city driving, However on the highway u do feel at time like strapping the seat belts on to your shoulders and running as that would probably make u reachyour destination faster. The mileage on the higway is a decent 13 10 14 kms/ltr. In the city its a miserable 7 to 8 kms/ltr.
Ride Quality & Handling The highlight of this vehicle is its handling. The car responds to the slightest of manouveres, The suspension is just right for Indian roads, Even at speeds over 140 kms/hr u feel a lot of confidence of being in control of the vehicle. The car behave in the exact manner u want it to. Excellent.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) More Space inside the car allows a unique feel of riding without any disturbance of passanger. The features like front power window, boot opener on dash board, keyless entry, DTE makes the car more user friendly and easy to access. its unique design of suspensions with combination of tubeless tyres giving an awesome experience of comfort while drive.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is always a core strength of european manufacturers. So that we can say this is power in your hand. Fuel economy is just beyond the expectation. Geabox is smmoth like anything and specially we can feel it while shift the gears from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to top one.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good, well maintanined interiors, looks good,The interiors are roomy in first instance. All the things are placed just at appropriate place except for Boot opener.
Engine Per, formance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I got 18.8 in the Pune city without AC.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. Suspansion is very good in rough roads, visibility good, control of the vehicle is good. This is an amazing vehicle.

It is Valur for money,guys I check all vehicles first I confused beetween petrol and disel than I meet to various road mechanics and service stations to decide whether to go for petrl or disel finally after ahuge resarch almost 15hrs per day in last 10 days I decide go for diesel than there is confusion beetween Figo, Ritz, Swift, Vista quardazet I choose figo it give you every thing luxury image of brand fuel economy and everything.

Its now 4 months since I purchased the vehicle from Elite Ford Bangalore.
Driven around 1700 Kms. So thought its good time to write a review of what I feel about the vehicle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The car is quite spacious and have got sufficient boot space. This was one of my criteria while selecting the vehicle. I heard from few people that seats are not that comfortable but so far I haven't felt anything negetive about the comfortness of the seats. A/c is quite good and I like the music system too.
The interior do not enough pockets to keep your magazines/imp files etc if you do not want to leave them on your seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I can feel a slight turbo lag.
Fuel economy I am getting is around 16.5 km/L with A/C on 90% of time.
Only thing that disappointed me is the gear shift. Intially shift down to 1st gear was too stiff and on 2nd gear at 10km/hr I was getting jerks. But this was sorted out during first service. But still I don't feel that smooth gear shift from 2nd to 3rd and shifting down of the same.
Ride Quality & Handling Have driven on highway and reached around 130Km/hr and the car is very stable. Also I never felt any body roll while taking sharp turns.
As mentioned by numerous buyer I too feel the ground clearance should be improved. When fully loaded you have full chance of hitting uneven bumpers on Indian roads. Suspension is overall satisfactory.
Areas of improvement Headlights should be more powerful.

I have run this car for 13 months now and has clocked 13000 KMS on an average 1000 KMS per month.
Exterior:
+Ve: The exterior of the car has a very classy. If maintained well its is a stylish car to have in the segment.
-Ve: I hope if the rear view side mirrors' could be completely folded - Though not a big deal but would have preferred to be completely folded.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):
+Ve: I guess this is the best in the hatchback segment. Lot of leg room both in front and back. There has never been a complaint from the passengers for space. Easyly 3 people can be accomodated at the back. The finish inside is quite good. The view from the driver seat is quite nice. The seat adjustment is done very well. Ford has spent very less to do it but have done it quite well by only adjusting the rear of the seat. It is quite useful for me and my wife - since both prefer a different height.
-Ve: There are no power windows at the back which is a let down, however since this is used by me and my wife more and very less instance where we have passengers its not a big deal for me.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:
+Ve: The Engine is really nice, no knocking - I get a fuel eco of 17.6 on Highway and a eco of 10 - 11 in City. I guess the fuel eco is more to do with the drive quality. Not everyone can get this milage with this car. The taco meter if used effectively and the instructions followed as in the manual to shift transmission at 2250 RPM it gives the best result. All i can say on milage good and cant expect more from this car.
The gear transmission is very smooth to change. The onlything that i observed with few people is that they try to chang gear in half clutch. This is not a good practice.
The Engine sounds very good - its a pleasure to hear the sound when you start the engine and the initial spark flows in.
The gear shift is placed in the right location not as in i10 where it is very close and your elbo hits the seat.
-Ve: I face issues in going to "R" sometimes. I am not sure if its my fault (still trying to figureout what it is)
Due to low power 65 PS overtaking needs to be done in a lower gear - but i have all the time in the world to wait and have a enough gap to overtake (so no issues personally here)
Ride Quality & Handling:
+Ve: The ride quality is amaizing no issues on it in long streches or in short drives in traffic. The stearing has amaizing feedback - i guess no other vehicle can beat Ford in the feedback. and drive quality.
-Ve: Need to be very careful with high speed bumps - the ground clearance is not that great. Given that it quite a long car in this segment it has its own drawbacks.
Final Words A good value for money car. Should buy it if you are looking for a car in the range of Rs. 5L. Would never repent buying it.

I have purchase this car in Aug 2011 and driven around 15000 KMs . My Car Gear box has develop major technical problem. Fuel economy is around 10 is city and on highway it will be around 13.5 KMs with A/C. Petrol model.

Good car with poor after sale service . Will not recommend any body to buy this car.

My experience with Ford Car service agency is very bad in last one year. Improver=ment is need intrem of Fuel economy. Ford Customer service center don't like to resolve your issue with dealer. and take even more time than Dealer service center.

This is my first review, and it is about the initial ownership of the new ford figo 1.4 D Titanium. I recently purchased the vehicle after taking into account the offer on Dec 5th. I felt the offer was a good enough for me to take the plunge. I was however apprehensive about buying the vehicle during the year end but considering the fact that I am going to have the vehicle for the long term and as per the opinions expressed I felt it would matter little.
"Why FIgo and titannium variant?"
The simple answer is SAFETY at a Price Point. I based all my selection criteria on safety and the price it was offered, from my research it was Figo ( I think Ritz came close).
Exterior The looks and the profile came next. I personally like straight clean lines rather than rounded looks like the swift – If I may say so (I felt increasing the dimensions of the swift ruined the "mini " appeal which the older version had). I liked the looks of the Polo and no doubt it has age defying looks and during a long ownership it will age gracefully and still retain that "striking" appeal. The new figo in my opinion is better than the older version though not comparable to Polo in looks but it kind of grows on you after a while. The changes made in the new Figo and if the figures given by Ford are to be believed are rational. Moving the red light up the chain is a good move as high seated drivers in the trucks and buses are likely to have better view of the light.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The driving ability is certainly very important to most. Since I am sedate driver and have little experience in taking cars for a 'spin' I very much depended on the expert reviewers and ownership reviews for their comments. The truth is by the time I visited the dealership I had pretty much decided on the figo- not an entirely wise thing to do. Since my job was taking up most of the time I did not have the inclination to visit dealerships and take test drives. However after taking a short test drive on the figo I was impressed with its ability to negotiate bumps and pot holes relative to M800 or Zen estillo- I know they are not bench marks but these were the cars we had and figo was replacement for M800. My impression is it has very little body roll though I have not tested in tight or high speed turns. the gear box has shrot precise but firm throws.
Final Words Initial ownership.
First, my dealer ship experience at chennai ford was very good and all the formalities was completed in a time bound manner. The car had all the accessories fitted by the time I was to roll out the dealership, this saves a lot of hassles. Drive home was uneventful and the car was smooth to drive. I have been taking the car to my office and the experience of the drive is something to look forward. A word on build quality-excellent, and steering mounted controls useful. The only odd thing was the noise of the diesel engine and going by ford details it was supposed to be reduced considerably by all the sound dampening I do find the noise in the cabin not the booming noise reported in the previous version but a steady hum of the engine. This is mitigated if you have the stereo on whose quality is excellent. The road noise is well contained- I have not gone on to the highways yet. Being an owner I may be partial by giving a 4 star rating, the remaining star is for the long term standing. If ain't broke don't fix it- Guess this is the guiding principle in figo face lift.

We purchased our Figo ZXI (petrol) in July 2010 and so far the experience has been good. The Figo has a very stylish exterior look. It is very spacious when compared to other cars, like the Hyundai i10, in the B-class segment. Plenty of leg room for rear seat passengers. Interior finish, although not flashy, is adequate. Audio system is good with an AUX port for iPod connection. Supports bluetooth. Our dealer (Ganges Ford) is customer focussed and very responsive.
The car seems a little underpowered, especially when carrying 5 passengers. I guess that's all you can get out of a 1.2L engine. The Figo has an average fuel economy and has no power windows in the rear, which is a bummer.
All in all, the Figo was worth it. Good value for money (we paid Rs. 4.5 lacs on-road in Kolkata). Given the choice I would do it all over again.

Exterior Its a good looking car. I'm no design student, but overall, it has a good look. The finish is good and is pleasing on the eye.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors are good and stable. They don't rumble when the car is at high speeds. The steering wheel is fixed, which is a bit of bummer. The seats are great. The back seat leg room is amazing and the boot space is fantastic. The dashboard is clean and compact.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The petrol engine is a bit underpowered, which doesn't really hurt me. I don't mind keeping my speed levels in check. The gearbox is really smooth. Fuel eco though is a bit of let down. For a hatchback, which isn't really heavy, I barely get 9 something in the city.
Ride Quality & Handling Its a really responsive engine and can really pack a punch on the highway. The car is quite a smooth runner on the highway and even in the city driving is quite comfortable. The car turns well and the cornering space is also great.
Final Words I was really lucky in that I got a used car which had done on 5000 KMS for steal of a price. Its an aboslute beauty.
Areas of improvement The side mirrors don't close fully, but protrude a bit. Its something that can be worked on.
