it was a tough decision for me to switchover to another brand from MARUTI-as i was using ZEN since last 10 yrs n no doubt its a fantastic machine.but as time passes priorities also change in life n if QUALITY PRODUCT is availablle fulfiling ur todays reqirements-one should not stick to SENTIMENTS but should give weightage to features which will be fulfilling ur requirements.
well,as my requirements were reasonably LARGE BOOT space,adequate rear leg space,safety features,oomfortable drive n no doubt fuel economy.
As FORDS r known for their SAFETY n QUALITY. my TITANIUM DIESEL fulfills it very well AS IT PROVIVES U all safety gadgets n gives a QUALITY ride.drivabilily is nice n pleasure.interiors r soothing with adequate leg space for front n rear passengers.
as i said FUEL ECONOMY should be a concern but at this stage with adequqte surpluses it should not be ur top prority,as its REASONABLY ECONOMICAL.
AT HIGHER SPEEDS it is nicely grounded. cabin noise is also minimal.
m against one feature i.e. bluetooth connectivity wid cellphones,in my openion it DISTRACTS drivers ATTENTION N INVITES TROUBLE FOR such high speed vehicles n its riders.As in my openion ULTIMATE SAFETY LIES IN UR HEAD.

Exterior
The exterior of the Figo is superb, particularly the Design of the Tail Lamp which gives a rich look to the car. The engineers at FORD has delivered a wonderful hatch back car( but it is looking like a SEDAN)

The qulaity of the Dash Board is up to the mark when compared with Maruthi and Tata vehicles.The A/C is very powerful and the loud speakers are equally good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I purchased this car in Aug.2011 and driven about 5000 kms, mostly in Hyd city and some times outskirts of Hyderabad. While driving, I felt that the pick of the car is really very good on 3rd gear and it keep moving on and on without pressing the accelerator. While shifting the gear, i felt it very smooth and the position of the gear box is comfortably placed. With regard to fuel economy, initially I was getting 15km /litre, after first service, the mileage has improved to 17 - 18 km per litre, with in Hyderabad city.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality on highway as well as with in the city, is giving immense pleasure of driving the vehicle.
Final Words
FORD engineers has done a marvellous job, by creating such a wonderful car in terms of Quality of Interiors, Fuel Economy, Ride Quality and above all, FIGO is the safest car.
Areas of improvement
Seriously NIL. Eventhen let me mention couple of things, like absence of rear power windows, rear window slide down up to 40%...

Exterior Good looking low hight with slight downing back.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious with all greate futures like sound, bluetooth. Ultimate comfort with powerfull A/C.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Without A/C it can fly in seconds [load with 2/3 person].
Ride Quality & Handling After having a journy of 250 KMs we did not feal any problem, I myself drive the CAR and it is beautifull fealing to drive it on highway. A stable one [ my top spead was 140 km/Hrs ]. I did not feal any problem in high spead.
Final Words What you want - Comfort or fuel economy? for Comfort FORD is NO. 1 and if you want to save money from less fuel please use public vehicle. If you want to be a CAR owner be proud to be a Ford owner, which has best comfort than other in its class.
Areas of improvement With A/C performance should be improved and provide us the guide line how to cope this problem.

Exterior Looks great not excellent, little inferior to polo and swift
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Here it surpauses every hatch. Very roomy and comfortable. Indicator on right side and wiper on LHS is difficult initially.
Lane shift indicaor is great idea by Ford. Bluetooth connectivity is smart. Headlight dimmer(dipper) system is good. Theatre dimming of cabin light. speed sensing door locks are good. A small tray in miidle of dash is missing, it is placed at right hand side which is little uncomfortable. Rear wiper is useful to have.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quiet and smooth. Gear shift could be better. Steering at parking speeds is little hard. I've done 1750 kms it gave me 13-16 in the city and 19-20 on highway with ac always on.
Ride Quality & Handling Great ride qulity with linear acceleration, stable at high speeds. suspension is excellent.
Final Words Great music system with bluetooh. Value for money, great car.
Areas of improvement Can add auto closing OSRVMs and steering mounted audio controls.

Exterior Paint coat is very thin. small scratch expose the inner layer.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Legroom is plenty for a hatchback but the rear seats could have had a headrest I wish. Inbuilt music system is cool. a/c functions very fast to cool even better than in swift. but the plastics especially the one covering the gearbox is shaky and cheap.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is average. turbolag++. overtaking in highways is little difficult because of this slow pickup. engine runs smooth n silent. fuel economy average is around 19.6kmpl(diesel).gearbox is smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is the first one to attract a person towards figo. good road view. ride quality is good.
Final Words Cheaper car in this segment with decent mileage and lots of legroom(especially for taller ones) and stable nonshaky ride when a large truck passes by in highways.
Areas of improvement Interiors could have been better. coolant temperature meter is missing. ac temp as in i20 is suggested.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox SUPERB ENGINE EVEN AFTER 2 YEARS OF CONTINUOUS RUNNING ITS STILL PULLS THE 1040 KG LIKE A 2500 CC ENGINE WITHOUT ANY LAG. FUEL ECONOMY IS VERY GOOD GIVES MORE THAN 22KM PER LTR ON HIGHWAYS AND EVEN AT WORST CONDITIONS IT MANAGES TO GIVE 17KMPL,(USE TO DRIVE WITH AC ONLY). GEARBOX IS A BIT HARD. DTE DOESNT WORK IF FUEL FILLED WITH IGNITION ON. ENGINE BIT NOISY WHILE THE AC IS ON BUT DOESNOT INTERFERE WITH ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND MILEAGE
Ride Quality & Handling HANDLING IS VERY GOOD BUT RIDE QUALITY IS ONLY SATISFACTORY, SHOCK ABSORBERS ARE A BIT HARD . BACK SEAT COMFOTABILITY IS NICE .
Final Words GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. I AM REALLY IMPRESSED BY FORD DIESEL ENGINE. GOOD SPACE. EVEN IT SEEMS LOW ON GROUND CLEARENCE ITS SUSPENSION MANAGES TO PREVENT ITS BOTTOM FROM TOUCHING THE GROUND

I was very confused which car to buy in diesel segment in the range of 6 lac. Option available was Beat, Ritz and figo. Ritz was bit costly than figo, I would have to spend around 75k more for Ritz. Beat was good but the space inside beat is not as much as we have in figo. I did not got good review for chervolet services so had to drop beat.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Car looks small but the space inside is too much. There is good leg space for the front passenger beside driver. In the back seat, 3 people can comfortably sit and even 4 can be accomodated if needed. Lot of boot space compare to other car of this segment.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Milage is around 18 to 20kmpl. Gear is not as smooth as i10 but still it is good.
Final Words Technology wise, it is great.
Areas of improvement If you car is overloaded then it might touch Speed breakers from the bottom.

Exterior I appreciate subtle lines in a car and don’t like cars which look busy.
Figo has a contemporary look with a low profile and has subtle lines which I really like and I think it looks better then the tall boy designs we most commonly see in this class B hatchback segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior of Figo is specious and gives a fill of a sedan. We can accommodate 3 people in the back seat easy which is possible in other cars as well but will not be as comfortable as in Figo, AC of Figo also adds to the experience. Although another cup holder would have helped.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The only downside of figo P is in its engine department. Without AC it works fine but with AC and if the car is full then you have to put a lot of gas to get going and don’t even think of overtaking in 1st or 2nd gear while AC is on you will only manage to embarrass yourself.
Millage of the petrol engine is also low I manage to get 14 without A/C and 10 to 11 with AC mostly on city roads.
I think people who drive 800 to 900 km monthly will not have a big problem as the price of diesel figo is also higher.
Ride Quality & Handling I must say gearshift is crisp very happy with that and ride quality is awesome I think best in the segment, breaking is also very good. I think feasta’s platform is to blame for the cars awesome handling.
Final Words Apart from the mileage Figo petrol is a bargain. It will give you a feel of an expensive car within 4.5 L . The dealership experience has improved which at first I was skeptical as I migrated from Maruti.
Areas of improvement
1) Ford should have provided a tachometer in all of its Figo variants. I think its essential
2) All 4 power windows should have been provided and 60% open rear windows dos not help.
3) ECU needs to be remapped as the car seems underpowered in low gears.
4) The mud flaps should not be hard as it gets damaged very quickly in Indian roads
5) The front and back bumpers are too flexible and seems very flimsy frankly did not expect this from figo. Even the color is chipping away in these bumpers for some reason.

Ford figo is a driver's car. Love to drive on highways.great handling in cities. Milage is awsome. I have also driven other competetors bt they dont even stand nearby. It is very much comfortable. DTE(distance to empty) function is very helpful. Edges of the car are clearly visible from inside which gives you clear view in traffic. Ford dealers are not so coperative. But once you own it you dont need to visit them again and angain. Service is also scheduled once in a year or 10,000km. Overall I love this car. Drive ford figo and feel the difference, Ride quality of this car is awesome and my last week experience is awesome I drive from delhi to dehradun and on hills I never switched off my AC inspite car performs well on hills and no lag with 4 passengers inside! A light and precise steering delivers superb control even in the narrowest of corners.No Subsitute for this hutchback Car in its segment.
