      Exterior I have been admired much more than i thought.Exteriors are almost excellent ,the only thing I had to except is that it is truly very similar to the fusion.I like the curves very much and its length too which makes it a very comfortable hatchback to be in.I had options in my list which were the A-Star,Beat,i10,U-VA and the Wagon R but no one stood ahead it before it for me.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are all good,the electrically controlled both mirrors,the extremely powerful AC and most importantly the blootooth feature.It feels really good to talk with the system of the car without even moving our hands from the stearing.The progammed key is also excellent to work with.the only thing disappointing is that the rear windows are not powered but this doesn't destroy the beauty of the interior.the door is fantastically built with the speakers placed in it beautifully.the sound of the audio system is ultimate.this is the hatchback which is ultraspacious in comparison to the other cars in its segment.being extremely comfortable it has the best in class boot space which is even bigger than the boot in GRANDE-PUNTO.None of the cars have such beauty in their interiors as this one.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The performance is superb specially the breaks.though the fueleconomy is a dissapointing factor.The gearbox is the smoothest of all the cars in this segment except the gearbox of the i10 which takes over this only in this aspect but figo also has a very good gearbox though not better than the i10.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Only one word "OUTSTANDING" .It has one of the best suspensions in it.

       

      Final Words A perfect value for money for the one who wants everything provided he is not a "maruti maniac".the car will surely never let you down (GUARENTEED).

       

      Areas of improvement-There should be rear power windows.

      Exterior Too good ..Kinetic design. Looks like a big beast from front view. Rear shape looks bit flat. But to make ensough space inside the car it is worth compramising.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good, long, spacious, seats are really cool, spacious enough to handle 5 ppl easily. Buckle seats are really designed for long drive without much stress, for me like 6 footers.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Driving is pleasure ..but of course at little premium cost compared to maruti's cars. Gear box is smooth, but when you switch on AC then pickup goes down drastically.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Good low stance makes driving a pleasure. At highways try to check the top speed with ease. I tried upto 140 km/hr, no shaking. no lag at all.

       

      Final Words Real worth if you driving less than 50KM per day ..you will really enjoy driving with this little machine.

       

      Areas of improvement Fuel economy. Rear powr windows. Alloy wheels for top end models.

      Exterior Clean no nonsense looks, which is acceptable to most people.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No power windows for rear passenger.front seats are small compared to swift, ritz or even santro!

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite torquey, has a good low to mid range-so easy to drive around in town. when driven hard pick up is not great after a certain RPM. Engine mounting- there seems to be some difference in the way they have mounted tthe engine in fiesta and figo. noise and vibration especially during startup and stopping is high! harshness of the engine is very much audible inside the cabin.

      The a/c works very well. but the fan is very noisy-not only inside, it is very annoying to hear high wining sound outside when the a/c i working.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Rides very well and excelent handling on most surfaces.suspension is noisy on bad stretches. lot of rattling noises inside the cabin. brakes well-had use of ABS in two instances-it got activated and the car stopped without skidding.

       

      Final Words Having driven around 20000 km in one year-feels very good, stable and sturdy on high ways and winding ghat roads.

       

      Areas of improvement Front mud flap gets broken hitting on big humps,- had to replace twice-a flexible one will be better. Especially when fully laden.When four full size adults are seated the back of the cars is too low. There are instances of under body scrapings when going in or out of high gradients with humps and fully laden. Ford should should take up this matter seriously and do some thing like stiffer spring settings or flexible mud flaps, It should also do some thing about the noise and vibration of diesel engine-at least make it as good as that of the fiesta!

      Exterior  Exterior is Very good styled.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good, packed with user friendly features. Too comfortable. Don't feel tired even for a long drive. Boot space huge. Rear seat folding is not much useful.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox High on fuel consumption for PETROL version. Highway condition gives 15kmpl. Much difference of power at 2nd gear and 3rd gear as compared to 3rd and 4th and 4th and 5th gear. Gear shifting is very smooth and easy.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth ride and very much comfortable to drive on busy roads.

       

      Final Words GO FOR IT If average daily running is >70 km go for Diesel or else PETROL is the BEST.

       

      Areas of improvement

      1. USB cable to be provided as a default feature

      2. Cup holder is too inside, cannot use for holding even small Glass / cup

      3. Suitable space to provided for keeping IDOL.

      4. Mirrors should more inside in CLOSED condition.

      Exterior Although it is an othodox design, but still manages to look fresh and balanced. The colour options make good for the not so futuristic design. The panel gaps are minimal. The overall feel is rock solid built quality delivered in a fresh and no nonsense design.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is where Figo takes all the marks and leaves compitition behind by miles. Sit inside it and you would feel like sitting inside Fiesta. I am 5'11'' and I bought this car without even taking a test drive just because its cabin felt like stting inside A380. The fit and finish is Ford class. Seats are very comfortable. If they give the option of adjustable stearing I would suggest you to buy 2 figos. Although one negetive is that the AC is not that efficient as may be in a swift. The boot is so big that you may keep a Nano inside it (Ok that was an exaggeration but you get my point).

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox If you are not the one who want to race their cars and want a desent city drive, Figo is just made for you. Its not as peppy as the other Japanese or Korian cars. Fuel economy is not that great. I am getting 12 KMPL (mixed drive) which I expect to go to 14 KMPL after 1st servicing. No problems in the gearbox.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality and handling is just great. You feel like driving a sedan. The shock-absorbers do their job well. The stearing is the best to grip.

       

      Final Words Best value for money (onroad very well loaded petrol version costed me only 4.6 Lacs). The built quality is undoubtedly the best in class. Inside comfort of a sedan. The goodies on this car are endless. The pertrol engine is OK but the Diesel (like most other cars these days) is an out performer.

       

      Areas of improvement Dear Ford engineers.

      1) Try to increase the fuel economy of the Petrol engine.

      2) Give the option of adjustable stearing.

      3) AC can be improved.

       

      Easily the most spacious hatch, having the biggest boot. Tank like built qualitypoor average (Petrol car) not a very peppy engine

      Exterior Good style, clear vision head lamps, good road presence.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) New well styled, confortable seat hight for correct visiblity, good leg room, exellent audio system with bluetooth, good leg room for rear seats, powerful AC, exellent dash board & driving console.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Delivers the maximum with 69ps engine, turbo hits as low as @1200 rpm, less turbo lag, high torque so less gear shifts, good 4 city ride. smooth gear shifts. gives me a food fuel economy of 18km/lit with full time AC. in Highway at rate of 22km/lit & in city 16.4km/lit.

      To achive this fuel economy ride @ 2000 rpm consistently. in 5th gear @2000rpm figo hits 82km/h speed.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Exellent ride control, super stablity, minmal body roll, its pretty handy. My figo zxi just lags back in ABS. will love to ride till the tank emptys. Have gr8 stable & handy even when it hits 145 km/h.

       

      Final Words Its absloutely a drivers car. A good value for money. pretty good fuel economy also make figo a handy coustomer.

       

      Areas of improvement Notting pretty much. should have rear power windows, fog lamps & a climatronic AC. Also a increased power from 69ps to 90ps OR atleat a 75ps.

      Exterior Looks very elegant, sober and class. It's a wonderful car to own. This was my first car and i don't have any regrets what so ever!

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) A very comfortable vehicle if you are a bit fat, tall etc. Can comfortably seat 5 and has got great features. In our family, most of us are fat and 3 of us could sit in the rear seat without any discomfort.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance has been very good. Gear box is quite easy and comfortable. FE (in City): 14-15 without AC and ~12 with AC.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Very easy to drive and comfortable. Ride quality is excellent.

       

      Final Words Definitely worth to buy this car and is an excellent value for money. Feels like a sedan and comes for a hatchback price!

       

      Areas of improvement When we drive with the AC on, if the road is steep, it is very difficult to pull it in 2nd gear. It needs more power. If compared with its contemporaries, I think it lacks only in terms of power.

      Ride Quality & Handling Riding quality is excellent . Handling is very comfortable. Even at the speed of 80kms I could stop the car instantly may be because of ABS. execelent pickup, ac cooling fine than swift car.

      Final Words Its a dream car for middle family and good value of money, fine Engine Performance, 17 to 20 kmpl Fuel Economy.

      Exterior The figo is not an eye catcher, but as days go on, the styling grows on you. The styling is rather mature than being funky. The bulged wheel arches give it a muscular look. The rear lights look good and is practically useful. The side profile of this car is the best to look at. The roofline also looks aerodynamic.The EYE shape headlamp looks good. build is solid. the gaps are uniform. Steel used is solid and i hope will protect the occupants in case of an accident.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is figo's trump card. space is massive when compared to all other hatchbacks and the space can be compared  to even mid size sedans. the seats installed by ford are so comfortable and makes long journeys fatigue free. The plastics in the doors are solid. The KENWOOD music system with auxillary port sounds fantabulous. The plastics in the dash are solid , but the quality is not as good as  VW POLO or HONDA JAZZ.  The A pillar does not have a glass  and it obstructs the vision badly in case you are turning along a right curve. The controls are all placed close to the driver. cheers to FORD. The let down here is the positioning of the bonnet opening lever on the left side which is very tough to acces for the driver.  The AC with its 148 cc compresor is mind blowing, cabin cools superbly in 10 min with just 50% of the AC switched on. given the state of current day cars, the cabin definitely sounds noisy. FORD should definitely do something to reduce cabin noise. The hydraulic power steering is beautiful to use offering good feedback.  FORD  could have given a dead pedal which is useful in highway drives. quality of the plastic used in switches is good. boot is massive and looks like a kid can sleep inside it. The bottle holders on the door is innovative but tin holder on the centre console is missing. i hate this. Egress is good as the door opens wide. Ingrees will definitely be tough for taller guys as they have to bend the head as well as legs. driving position is great with good visibility of the road.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The alpha series 1.2 litre motor churns out 71 bhp of power, which is definitely low for a 1200 cc motor. The engine feels more like a diesel engine with a turbo charger particularly when driving in higher gears. The torque and pick up is really bad till 1500 rpm and only then, the engine picks up. The pick up is not great like the swift or any other maruti car . The figo is rather relaxed than being racy. The gear box is fantastic with precise shifts. One aspect of figo which all it's owners will hate is the fuel efficiency. The car returns only 10-11 kmpl within chennai city and things dont improve much with the AC switched off.  I would attribute this poor figure to the 148 cc compressor of the AC and the kerb weight of the car (1060 kg). The bad effect of the AC is trasalated in all the gears and RPM's. The strongest part of the engine is it's mid range. High speed overtakes in highways with 5 ppl on board definitely needs a change of gear from 5 th to 4 th.

      Ride Quality & Handling SIMPLY THE BEST OF BOTH THE WORLDS.  In this segment , The FIGO offers best in class ride quality and handling. handling at high speeds is a breeze complemented by the steering and excellent suspension. Low speed ride is good with the suspension absorbing most of the potholes. Lane change manuovres in highways inspire confidence. the tyres offer nice grip in most tarmac. The car is rarely affected by cross winds at high speeds. 

      Final Words Buy the FIGO if you want a car that can give you the space and comfort of a sedan inside a hatchback. This car appeals more to a married guy rather than a college guy. fuel bills will definitely bite your pocket given the current day rates of petrol. I would sacrifice the fuel efficiency for the excellent ride and space it offers. This car is good for tall and fat people. Finally, buy FIGO, ENJOY DRIVING. this is an excellent combination of a driver's car and a comfortable hatchback.

      1) PLASTIC QUALITY ON THE DASH BOARD.

      2) REDUCTION IN CABIN NOISE.

      3) INCREASE IN POWER OF THE ENGINE AND FUEL EFFICIENCY.

      4) OPENING OF MORE SERVICE STATIONS IN RURAL AREAS AND OFF BEAT LOCATIONS.

      Exterior: Solid Built body with beautifully placed headlamps and front gril design.       Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Has best boot space than any maruti swift or chevy beat. Getting inside is very easy for taller people once you get in it gives comfort pleasure as its front driver and rear seats are comfy. Can feel lot of leg space in rear and front is dere and easy connectivity to bluetooth as it makes easier to recieve call without picking up phone by hand while driving. Steering is well adjusted and visiblity is excellent. Factory fitted stereo is just awesome with cool red light glow on switch panel of Stereo an Dial meter which realy gives a gud feel.Side mirrors can be adjusted through switch only in selected models but overall the black dashboard seats swithces and carpet gives a awsome look. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: I have TDI 1.4 Titanium with ABS and EBD with dual airbags in front is best for safety purpose. Diesel engine is frugal and Peppy too  which provide gud power to drive in higways as well in citys. Once u push the gas pedal the engine response is just awesome and very smooth at 100 kmph + As even the gearbox is nicely planted as it s bset in its segments the gear is quick to use at any speed and give a sports car feels. Figo has the best gear ratios compared to Marutis and hyundais model.In city driving like jams or bad road conditions it give fuel economy of 18 to 19 kmpl and on highway its around 21+ kmpl

      Ride Quality & Handling: Ford cars are famous for its best sterring controls and some its done in figo. The Steering is very responsive and even at high speed can corner turns easily. Once ur on driving seat can enjoy the pleaure. As the ground visiblity is gr8 its suspension of front and rear is better and improved even the potholes dosent effect its rider as supsension take care of it even driving on damged road is easy as inside the cabin wont feel a jerk or noise from outside. Overall its a nice ride and handling is super.

      Final Words: Figo is best as it has best AC compressor of 148 cc in its segment which cools the cabin within few minutes. It is best in segment as its spare parts are reasonable like marutis and overall calculation makes it to deserve the valeue for money car.
