Hyundai has revealed its vehicle lineup for the 2016 Auto Expo. The South Korean automaker will be located at stall number E3 in hall 3 of the arena and will have 12 zones and 17 products for its visitors. However, its highlight will be the unveiling of the Tucson SUV for the Indian market.
The zones featured here include future, premium, sports, safety and engagement. The future zone will showcase the automaker’s high performance N brand of vehicles while premium zone will be home to its luxury Genesis brand. The sports zone will display the Active i20 while the safety zone will have its Genesis crash car to display its various safety features. Finally, the engagement zone will have (as the company has put it) various digital initiatives for its visitors.
Its showstopper is expected to be the Tucson SUV, which will be launched for the Indian market later this year. It will slot into the upper echelons of the D-segment and is likely to replace the now discontinued(for India) Sonata sedan.
Lastly, the Hyundai arena will also have on display its current range on offer in the Indian market. This includes the Hyundai Eon as well as their current flagship, the Santa Fe SUV.
