Hyundai has unveiled the Tucson SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo alongside other vehicles like the Genesis and vision N Vision 2025. The South Korean automaker will launch it in India in the second half of this year.
This iteration of the Tucson was unveiled in February 2015 and clearly showcases Hyundai’s latest design philosophy in terms of its SUVs. Powering the SUV will be a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel mill that produces 136bhp and 373Nm of torque. The gearbox option will be a six-speed AT.
Hyundai has already received a great response for the Creta SUV and this year will add the Tucson to its Indian line-up. It will be slotted into the D-segment and we can expect a sub Rs 20 lakh price tag for the SUV.
