Ford has announced that it will launch the Figo Celebration Edition to mark the third anniversary of the hatchback’s launch in India, at a function in New Delhi on March 4. Launched in 2010, the Ford Figo is one of the American automaker’s best-selling car in the country.
The Ford Figo received a facelift last year and continues to do well. We believe that Ford will give the celebration edition some cosmetic changes both on the outside as well as the inside. While the changes to the exteriors are expected to include a rear spoiler, skirts and some graphics, the interiors are likely to get revised upholstery and changes to the knobs and stalks.
The engine line up and underpinnings will remain the same and this includes the 1.2-litre 75bhp petrol mill and the 1.4-litre 70bhp diesel mill. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Stay tuned to CarWale for all the details from the launch.
