The festive season is around the corner and it is that time of the year when automakers usually come up with a range of attractive offers and new launches to lure buyers into their showrooms. Ford, for one, is celebrating festive season this year with the refreshed Figo which gets a host of updates to the exterior and the interior.
On the outside, the refreshed Figo features what Ford calls ‘smoky stealth’ trim finish for the 14-inch alloy wheels and fog lamp housings. The hatchback also gets powered rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators. Inside, several interior bits like the centre console, door pad handles and the dual-tone seats are finished in ‘cyber blue’ trim in the Kinetic Blue Titanium variant.
Mechanically, the refreshed Figo remains the same. The vehicle continues to be offered with one petrol and one diesel engine option. The petrol is a 1.2-litre four cylinder unit producing 70bhp of power and 102Nm of torque, while the diesel is a 1.4-litre unit with 68bhp of power and 160Nm of torque. Both these engines are paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Interestingly, Ford hasn’t jacked up the price tag in return for the added upgrades. The petrol model comes with a starting price of Rs 3.87 lakh while the entry-level diesel model costs Rs 4.83 lakh. The Figo has always been appreciated for the way it drives and the value it offers and this refreshed new model promises to offer more of the same
