For Ford India, it seems the festivities will continue well into November. After a successful sales record in September, October has brought better results for the company. Ford India sold 14,935 vehicles in combined domestic wholesales and exports in October, a 36 per cent increase and a new sales record.
Domestic sales were steady with 9,163 units sold this October, compared to 7,577 units sold last year, an increase of 21 per cent. Ford India exported 5,772 vehicles in October this year, adding 10 new export markets including Australia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala. This is an increase of 71 per cent compared to 3,371 units exported last October.
Riniging in Diwali in style, Ford India had also announced attractive offers for its customers across the country. During October, special offers were introduced by Ford for products like the Figo, Classic, Fiesta and Endeavour.
“At Ford India, we are extremely delighted by customers’ acceptance of our reliable, fuel-efficient and fun-to-drive products. Led by the Ford EcoSport, our product portfolio has helped our sales momentum continue to grow amidst a challenging economic environment,” said Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India. “We strive to continue to excite our customers with smart offers thereby giving them more reasons to take home a Ford,” he added.
