Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Amazing performance within in city 16-18 kmpl and on highway 23-29 kmpl. I have drived to amritsar punjab from delhi average that i have touched is 29.8 kmpl at a speed of 60kmph and overall average of trip with a speed from 60 to 120 kmpl the average goes to 25.6 which is awesome.

Ride Quality & Handling You drive volkswagen car and see the difference. very good ride quality and handling is very smooth. If you are a maruti, hyundai, ford, chervelet, fiat car owner and want to upgarde to any car just drive any volkswagen car above 100 kmph and see the difference and you should love to buy volkswagen cars.

Final Words Awesome car with good looks and good built quality.  If you are passionate about cars and feel the luxury go for volkswagen.

Areas of improvement Need more care about their customers and hope for better service after sales.

 Its not as comfortable as you think from inside. The vibrations are very apparent while driving. Decent space. Few feature here and there are good to havve

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine performace is superb but when it comes to drivability it is a let down.

The engine noise at higher rpms can be felt through the pedals(clutch,accelerator). Too many niggling issues. Gear vibration, clutch vibrations, sudden drop in mileage, left pulling.

If I had to choose again, I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE THIS CAR AGAIN, NOT ATLEAST FOR 11 LACS OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY

 Ride quality is the best part of the car.

My Story

Its been 5 months of purchasing this car and have already visited the workshop 4 times and half of the problems are still there. 

 

visit Issues promised delivery date Delivered  issues resolved remarks 1st visit 1. Clutch vibration
2. Left pulling next day at 1'o clock received the car at 4'o clock None Car was driven for more than 30 kms still none of the issue was resolved.Had couple of  scratches on the car 2nd visit 1. Clutch vibrations

3. Gear vibrations at 3rd and 4th gear
4. Scratches to be removed from the last time Next day at 5'o clock received the car at 7'o clock None. They didn’t have necessary parts to resolve the gear vibrations. Was asked to come next time  Had to wait 2 hours for the car to be delivered 3rd 1. Left Pulling
2.  Gear vibrations at 3rd and 4th gear next to next day Delivered on the 3rd day at night 8 PM The gear vibrations got  resolved.
No effect on left pulling
Soon after the delivery, noticed that fuel average has dropped considerably and also clutch vibrations has come back.  Again had to wait for 2 hours for the car to delivered. Soon after the delivery, Was provided a loaner car for the 3rd day :) 4th 1. Left Pulling

5. Bad fuel smell in the morning.
6. seat belt warning not displayed next to next day at 5 PM delivered on 3rd day at 2'o clock Except the clutch vibration, didn’t see any improvement. Took the trial with VW guy and he also agreed that gear vibrations and left pulling(now right pulling) are still there. The SA have asked me to come back again to check for these problems and  Soon after I took my delivery,went to fuel station and  noticed that fuel lid is not opening. Called the SA. He came after 30 minutes though the fuel pump was around 5 minutes away from the workshop. He tried to open it but didn’t open. Took the car to workshop. 5th  1. Fuel lid not opening Same day delivered as promised Yes Noticed next day that the carpet in the boot was kept open to access the fuel lid and wasn’t closed. Very Very Shoddy work there

Exterior Good looking car, looks like a real sedan and people on the road give a glance to the vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space, good suspensions and overall a comfortable vehicle.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent engine, easily picks up high speed , a liitle bit of engine noise is heard in the cabin.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent, sturdy and you feel like you are inside a heavy object.

Final Words Very good car for self driving.

Areas of improvement Dealer attitude must be really improved, the car delivered to me by PPS motors secunderabad had a scratch on the left front panel and was touched up before delivery. This was realised by me later during usage , and the same was agreed by the dealer representative later and this shows the unethical practice of the dealers, Whatever reputation VW has is being ruined by thes kind of unscrpulous dealers. Nobody will expect a brand new car to be inspected before delivery for scratches/damages. I have bought a couple of cars earlier,but never i had this kind of problem with dealers.

Engine Power, Pick-Up, exteriorsSide view mirrors are manually opening/closing

Exterior I bought highline vento in reflex silver colour,though in the showroom i was bit confused between white and silver or even terra beige but finally bought in silver,i wanted sterring mounted controls and alloy wheels so i opt for highline,it looks such a refined beauty from outside,when i stepped inside my wife and daughter simply loved it,its class apart from the other few cars which we have already seen during test drive, good plastic quality ,matt finish steel work tan brown and beige interiors,very comfortable seats.overall very impressive.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox during test drive also i found it to be very smooth,now i own it and already driven it ,so i can say gear shifting is smooth ,engine  is very powerful and almost silent ,in city it gives mileage of 17 18 with ac on.

Ride Quality & Handling Its a very strudy car, u don,t  even feel the small bumps,handling is very easy and smooth but if somebody is feeling its heavy they must have driven petrol car, which feels very light, but i have driven other diesel cars also so i can say vento is easy to drive and very smooth.

Final Words No doubt volkswagan  made very stylish and powerful car without very flashy outlook,which actually I am not fond of, so people can definetly go for this car, only thing volkswagan has to open more service centers  for taking care of their cars.

Looks very stylish,interiors are far refined from other available cars in indian market,very roomy.Driver seat hand rest,middle hump at the rear

Exterior The car looks good with satisfactory appearance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and Comfortable, with sufficient legspace at the rear even with the front seat fully retracted.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance good, but fuel economy in city never more than 15, in fact some times 8-9 in busy traffic areas.

Ride Quality & Handling ride is good but the bottom touches the road even if the road is a little bumoy or even with a minor speed breaker. In fact with three sitting in the rear, wahat ever precautions you take it is sure to toch even with a small speed breaker.

Final Words The post sales customer service is very poor, with Volkswagen not ready to take any responsibility during warranty. So after buying you are on your own, The dealer are not made accountable. So i wouls suggest you stay away from Volkswagen and Skoda(same family).

Areas of improvement Customer service and post sales follow up which is practically absent. Dealers also are not accountable, and volkswagen does not take any responsibility and does make them accountable. This despite a constant follow up upto the highest levels in the Volkswagen hierarchy in india and abroad.
