Exterior Noicy suspension, brakes, foging on external glass & no a/c or heater has resolved my problem. Even the company technicians could not help me in this regard. not able to drive the car when it rains.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Could hve been a little more better. Seat cover textile should be more better. Good boot space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Need more power, totally disagree on fuel efficency as i am getting 12 kms in city & 14/15 on highway with a/c @ 100/120 kms speed. I have tried with no a/c @ 80 kms speed n the highway @ night with minimum traffic i have achieved 16/17 kms.
Ride Quality & Handling No fun compared to other deisel cars. Handling is good.
Final Words Would not suggest anybody to buy. I waited for 3 months for this car as it was a gift to ourself as 15th year wedding anniversary.
Areas of improvement Service technitians not traained properly, No space for an emergency visit to the service centre. Need to wait for 4-5 days.

Exterior Took the delivery of the Red Chick a while ago Was looking stunning and road presence is awsome and the wheel caps look almost like alloys from a distance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are fantastic and it has all in it what a owner looks for.Plastic quality is good ,dials on the speedometer looks beauty in the nights.But it take some time to adjust your seat to fit in to the right driving position ,the absence of dead pedel make your left leg take al the pain on long drives and the rear space is not that sufficient with a tall guy operating the steering.Boot is the best i have seen for a hatch back.Over all some cons needs to be ignored to get this beauty.Its tempts you to buy after looking at the exteriors.Take a cal before you buy.Try testing it twice.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I was surprised to know it is a 3 Pot engine.In city the rpm is gud for BTB traffic.When you want to rev through it is not that punchy due to the turbo lag as it kicks of only at 2100 RPM.The gear chnage is very swifter and smooth and handy too.16KMPL can be assured for sure.
Ride Quality & Handling The suspension takes all the hit from the pot holes and random roads The true handling can only be experienced when on a long drive.The steering control is very meaty and responsive.
Final Words Go for it .Ita a nice family car .Its more sensible and gets classy as it gets old.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) If need front boot space good, then the back sate passenger may not get proper lag room as it has to be.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox There is noting special which we can appreciate about this car to campier with other Indian car on same segment.
If going to buy Swift / I-20 – I think that will be the best option. Fuel economy is not in this car as the performance comes while driving the pick up is not good, Noise for the diesel engine comes inside the car . I can say to pay for this car even Indigo cs is better car with cheaper than this car with same pick up.
Dealer network is one in the city which you have to go long way and spent more time for small problems. Company has to have the Mobil vehicle for small thing can be solve at owners house with in the warrantee period.
Ride Quality & Handling I have just bought on Jan 19th I can not say much about the handling but fells will be expensive than the other brands for Indian roads. For more can call me- 91-9414255973. Space for the dike luggage is very good in this car.
Final Words I advise to go for Swift / I20 or other brands can offer more power less noise and dealer service network near to your residence or office. Big city they have to open more service stations in different aria of the city approach.
Areas of improvement Power for pick up- few things – If Customer wants to add fog lamps Stereo, back power window dealer says, if fitted from out side the whole warrantee for the car will be expired, Off course the fitment done out side due to the high price at dealer can not be comes but what is the point if fitted it out side the whole warrantee can not be taken by the dealers got the car price.

WHY every time I take my 2 year old Polo Diesel Trendline (13k km running) car to VW service station in Delhi, I am being informed that EITHER this spare part OR that need replacement? THE ONLY REASON I purchased a German Brand with a "Premium Price Tag" was that my overall running costs will be low, but IRONICALLY and SADLY, everytime post servicing of my car at a VW company service station, I am being informed that some MASSIVELY OVERPRICED spare part has to be replaced, and that spare part is NOT covered under warranty!
I am NOT sure whether VW donot has that much control over VW Service Stations and that the VW service station guys are at the real fault, and the quality of the VW product is actually genuine. ALL I KNOW is that being a married person, I refrain from taking risks and pay for the overpriced spares every single time. As a personal observation I am posting this as my review on CarWale and would welcome any such more observations.
We PAY for Premium Price so that we get Durabilit (of spare parts also), BUT DESPITE paying that PREMIUM tag, if I am still having to pay more on running costs, than I would rather prefer to GO BACK to some other Brand.

Even the servicing is very bad, they promise you to take/drive the vehicle for 1 year/15000 Km, and then come for servicing, meantime something goes wrong no one will look into it and will say come after 1 year only.
I have very bad experience and I suggest you all not to go with Volkswagen as the parts are 200% to 400% extra price then Maruti Motors.
Clutch plates and assembly Kit is very weak and even some defects are still exist.I ran only for 10,000 KM and while went for servicing they said I need to replace clutch es and assembly kit which will coast you 40,000/- (Now..i.e. May-5-14.) Even the servicing is very bad, they promise you to take/drive the vehicle for 1 year/15000 Km, and then come for servicing, meantime something goes wrong no one will look into it and will say come after 1 year only.

Exterior I love the styiling of the POLO, I always loved wider but but low stance cars like contessa, and POLO provides me the same styling and driving dynamics.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I bought Trendline so their are no features, but AC is greatest what I have seen in the cars of this segment. Seats are pretty comfortable, I got back pain in just 15 minutes of riding in Swift but POLO's seats are great. Rear seat space seems smaller but actually its not because rear seat is longer so the thigh supprot is good and space is also bearable. Seatbelts are also comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.2 TDI engine is so-so in terms of performance but it serves well when pushed hard and also can genarate greater fuel efficiency if driven for that. I loved the postion of reverse and first gear at same place so the parking is easier. Its pleasure to shift gears in this car because of softer and smaller shifts. Engine noise is present but not unbearable, car doesn't vibrate at all, never went over 140 so can't comment on top speed. I have driven only 2000 kms so far so can't exactly say about fuel economy as of now but so far it delevered 14-16 earlier (While drive as per runin period recomendations) and last calculation of 18 leters top-up in city driving with ful AC with sedate driving was 19 KM/L.
Ride Quality & Handling This strongest part of this car. One can not judge the speed of the car without seeing the speedometer. Cornering and turning is really great, there is no body role as what strongly present in Japanese cars due to thir softer suspension. Breaking is also great even without ABS, I had to break hard once when the car was on 140 km/h and breaks did really good job. POLO's overall handling and ride quality is really confidence inspiring. Only concern is tyre noise on some roads, VW should provide better tyres as standard.
Final Words POLO is for those who want to enjoy every moment of driving their car, its driver's car. Its Great handler, solidly built, comfortable and safe car to drive.
Areas of improvement OE fitted JK tyres produce noise. ASS really has great scope of improvements. Service costs might be issue for long term ownership.

I THINK NO OTHER HATCHBACK CAR CAN HAVE THIS TYPE SPEED AND GRIP WITH CONTROL..I TOOK TEST DRIVE OF ALL CARS OF THIS SEGMENT IN DIESEL BUT DID NOT GET SATISFACTION LIKE A POLO WITH OTHER CARS. IF YOU HAVE BUDGET THEN SURELY YOU SHOULD GO FOR POLO DIESEL. KING OF THE ROAD CAR.

Final Words I purchased one Polo trendline diesal in the month of Feb, 2012 with extended warranty of two years in addition to two years from the company. Once in a middle of a journey the engine seized and we called the help line, they towed the vehicle for checking. Another day I was informed that my car got an accident with a stone below the engine and a part is damaged and will cost about Rs. 19,000/- for repair and the cost will have to be paid by the owner, this will not be covered in warranty. The remarkable note was the front bumper, which was the lowest part of the car is not touched and the stone damaged a vital part of the engine and mobile was leaked and engine seized. Any way I repaired the car in my own cost, and while having a test drive, I was informed the tourbo of the vehicle is also damaged and will cost about Rs. 39,000 all together approx. 58,000. I was shocked but had to pay the bill.
