Exterior Good Hatch back look better than in this other car segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Standard european interiror with smart interior look with user prefers which is most necessary, Warning in yellow and alarm in red indicators like fuel level,heater etc its good for user for standard symbols.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I driven few thousand kilometer, I felt smooth engine performance with less noice, good mileage and smooth gear change over.
Ride Quality & Handling Good but be carefull while driving in speed breakers. better to reduce the speed.
Final Words I like polo because it gives me confident while driving without any stop reach the final destination.
People feel they need additional feebies like mat,mudflap etc during purchase of new car most other dealer used to provide. Dont think of small things which you don't get it. Always think about the engine performance(Geraman Engineering design),driving comfort and quality of the car then you go for voltswagon.

Exterior Exterior is good an posh.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Eventhough it is a five seater car, only 4 can sit comfortably as there is a big lump in the middle , higher than other cars. The doors can be opened from inside even though the autolock is on. Only from outside we can not open. If you child is playing at your back seat and they open the door it becomes dangerous.there is a manual key to lock it from inside which is tedious. Also there is no automatic lock in the keys. as per showroom they will take another 1 month to get the software.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 17 km, per liter. very bad noice from the engine.
Ride Quality & Handling Ok good.
Final Words Ok, but there is no free service or any benefits or gifts from polo. There is no commitment from the dealer about the delivery as well about the benefits. so far i had not benefited anything from the dealer not even a keychain.

Final Words Guys stop searching any other rather then polo. I bought on 26th July nd I drove 5400Km. Still it drives like the 1st day. I use to drive when i drunkes at that I check the capability of car I drove it on 160km/hr. and listen the voice of frnz shouting behind me nd I feel like driving mig lol. then I use to play with my car, I make drift nd performe stunts in 2nd gear full accelate turn full stearing den car goes like snake drifting nd nothin u feel dangerous in d car. d pikkup can beat any other car in its segment. there's more to write bt I tired of writing abt dat (touch wood).

Exterior The car looks absolute beauty from side, followed by front, followed by rear. If you look this car fromrear, you may not find it as beautiful as I20. But from side and front its unbeatable. Paint quality is superior and you will feel it once you shampoo it and apply wax. Then it will look like a small high end car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are lovely, great finishing all over the doors and dashboard. Very good plastic used. The front two seats are very cosy and have good back and thigh support. But yes, you may struggle adjusting your left knee while driving. The rear head rests are made too big I feel, you may face trouble while reversing the car. Also like to mention that AC is very good in cooling. And the car is very much insulated from outside noise.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine sounds very robust and tough. The sound of engine when listened from outside feels like a sophisticated machine. On Highways I got as good as 23 kmpl and performance was brilliant. The engine was comparatively cooler when I opened the bonnet and examined it after 250 Kms non stop. Seems like this is enough to prove how robust it is. On City, I managed to get between 13-16 depending upon road conditions. Pickup is bit of an issue, so its not as easy to drive. For diesel, the gearbox is not so soft. But once you become familiar with gearshifting, you may not find it a problem at all.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is wonderful, so do handling is. PS is very light and its almost no effort maneuvering the vehicle.
Final Words Overall its a good car for people not obsesed with pickup, but rather Handling and long term performance.
Areas of improvement Few things that can be accomodated with less capital investment could be
a) Aux/USB in Audio system
b) Wider sun visors
c) Brighter headlights

Exterior is really good with more of sedan looks.curves and edges are nicely made with beauty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) is good,But if you are around 6 ft,Than back seat passenger may find bit un comfertable.Features are reaally good and hightech even in lowest brand.Much more than other Brands
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox.Engine is really strong.Very steady even on the 160 km speed.But roads doesn't allpw my polo to take off.Fuel economy is exellent giving me the milege of 22km/ltr even on ac & high speed
Ride Quality & Handling is safe on high speed and sharp turns .Even the deisel engine allows you to overtake with less of time on highways
Final Words-Exellent car for every one.riding quality,performance & Boot space are superb.Quite surprise why it did not arrive in India earlier.........

Is the ground clerance.It has got engine covering under the body but still it hurts when it strikes from bottom.Bcoz indain roads you are never assure.But you can get use to it.Now i can drive even on the rought roads with ease...

Exterior Good build quality and stylish, Comparing polo with any other car is its insult.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Necessary feautures are there, The switches are of good quality, The Steering is tilt and telescopic adjustable. The doors close with a thud. Every thing is so premium that even after four years they do not look old.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very good and superior. After doing 76500 km, polo needed just four services. The pickup is awesome. I am glad to say that engine is improving with mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome. It feels planted even at 160km/hr. You can drive it at 150 km/hr without your hands on steering. The braking is very good and there is no body roll over.
Final Words The car is excellent. I bought it four years ago and i have no regrets.
Areas of improvement The rear legroom needs to be improved. The headroom also needs some improvement.

Exterior Very Good, Infact there is no comparison with other hatchbacks. Full marks for exterior looks as far as I am conserned.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quality of interiors is very good as compared to Maruti brand cars and Tatas. Driving seat is firm and very comfortable. Adjutable Steering Feature even in basic model is very useful, specially for long drives. Dashboard display has all the basic features displayed like clock, distance to empty, fuel guage, tripmeter, door ajar warning, etc ...all in digital form.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gears are very-very smooth. Reverse gear can be engaged only by keeping the gear knob slightly pressed down while shifting it to extreme left & forward. There is no chance of engaging reverse gear by mistake when the car is moving.
Engine gives diesel cluter initially, specially in lower gears. However, their is hardly any noice after the engine is warmed up and you shift to 4-5 gear. The car accelerate smoothly. However, acceleration is slightly lower as compared to Swift , specially in 5th gear if the speed is 60 kmph or lower. Infact you have to shift to 4th if driving below 55 kmph. It accecelates well above 70 kmph. But that is ok for normal driving. In city driving you have to drive mostly in 2-3 gear and on highway, speed is normally above 70. So, it is not a big drawback.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. There is no comparison with Swift, Dzire, Indica and Huyndai. You don't realise that you are driving at 100 kmph till U see the speedo. Suspension and shocker system is too good. You don't get the shocks even on rough roads. Noice insulation is very good as compared to Swift and most of the other cars.
There is no ratalling noice or tyre noice in the car. Also, the steering is very light and comfortable.
I am getting around +20 kmpl with city+ highway driving with AC on for 80 to 90 % time. The car has done 2370 km in the last 2 months.
Final Words Buy it if you want a quality product and are willing to pay more for the same.

Exterior Excellent looks. VW badge adds lot of value. Great color (I took Red and the Red on POLO looks much better the Red on other hatch back cars.). Strong built body, I feel it everytime I open and close the doors :).
I love the black color plastic piece between the doors which comes with the car. In many other cars it comes with body color and to get that sporty and edgy look we need to get it done as part of accessories. Anti corrossion paint layer under the body comes from the factory it self, we don't need to get it done for extra money like Maruti cars. This is a very important and thoughtful feature for Indian roads.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superior when compared to cars in this class. Great quality and we get a double tone colored interiors right from the Trendline model.
Extremely good power steering. We can actually handle with two fingers. Feels so effortless while driving and manuevering in city traffic and a delight on highways. Excellent control and comfort while turning. Precision is high. Steering's telescopic and tilt adjustment feature comes from Trendline model itself, again unlike many other cars in this class. Excellent grip offered by the steering. There is actually no need of the steering cover accessory.
Spacious rear seat and it is very ergonomically designed. I observed that even when I come to zero speed from around 40 kmph in 2 seconds, people sitting in the rear don't really know it. They are properly rested. Height adjustable head rests on the rear seat feature starts from Trendline itself.
Front two doors have power windows. Unlike many other cars this feature is offered right from Trendline. I know Skoda Fabia's base variant does not offer powwer windows. We need to spend another 50K and move to the next variant to get power windows.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. But some might feel it little noisy from 0-40 kmpl. But after 40 it is just awesome. The gear box is awesome, feels like butter.. 😊.
When car was new, it was little hard for the reverse gear, but it was just the new car thing, after couple of days, it got smoothened and I love the pull it has for the reverse gear. We don't need to give accelerator even when there is a little gradient on the reverse movement. Extremely spacious boot space.
Ride Quality & Handling I am so happy for buying Polo after test driving, researching on many cars in this class just for the "Ride quality" It is just AWESOME!!! We don't feel tired at all even when we are driving in the city traffic. I am just flat for this 😊. I drive about 50 km per day and I don't feel tired at all. This is exactly where I feel it is a good value for money. I got all these with complete accessories for Rs. 6.9 L. On the other hand, my earlier preference Swift has very few features, space is less, boot space doest not exist almost, ride quality is not great, interiros are mediocre and Maruti being very stubborn on prices. It is just the hype, in my opinion, that they want to cash, no offers, no accessories provided and no good care for potential buyers.
Final Words I drove 2500 KM so far. I am very happy with my choice. 3 more people bought it with my experience. It is giving me 15.5 kmpl mileage now. I feel this is the only feature on which it has to take back seat in comparison with other cars in this class. But that is very well compensated with marvellos ride quality, and comfort.
Areas of improvement Mileage is what it has to omprove. And a very important thing that VW has to quickly do, to make it the best choice, is to have an optional accessory of Remote central lock. It has a manual central lock. But remote comes only for Highline now which is factory fitted. And VW does not approve Auto cops or some other accessory. The car is digital and we would be interfering with its main funtions if we get it done outside. This is one serious drawback in my opinion.

Final Words I have driven this car for 40, 000 Kms and didn't feel any kind of discomfort. My longest one time drive on this car is of 650 Kms and it was a good experience. The service and spares are costly but the service is after 15K Kms so doesn't matter much.
Areas of improvement The company has already worked on the ground clearance thing and the new models are equipped with 15'' tyres which increases the ground clearance by 1'' as compared to the old cars. The spares has to be valued a little less in order to make this car a perfect hit in Indian Market.

my father used to have ambassador and willys jeep.when i first started driving i started with maruti 800 japanese model it was awsome for me to drive 800 after driving ambassador.then in 1996 we bought esteem that was too good still i kept that one .then we bought ikon it was good to try an american car then sold it and bought accent didnot like sold it then took a tata safari dicor in 2006 awsome suv i fell in love with safari kept this one too.brother bought optra in 2008 nice car but cant rely on chevy in india.
bought polo tdi 2014 from deccan mody group hyderabad.man believe me this was the best car i ever drove.too good in road handling u can make a sharp curves even on 140 kmph.if u are driving enthutiastic then u shoul buy this one otherwise there are many more cars with more features in the market for same price.
think before no one can beat german and italian cars.choice is u rs.
