Exterior Figo's exteriors are just OK and is not its unique selling point, not a great looking car but not bad either. The paint job seems to be pretty good. The exteriors give an impression of solidly built car. There have been some comments on the internet about Figo's headlights not being good enough but I think these comments are completely unwarranted. The headlights do a decent job.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors, much better than Liva's. Plastics don't look cheap. Nice finish. Decent amount of space and can confortably seat 4 people, is much much more spacious than Chevrolet Beat. Liva does seem to be more spacious than Ford Figo but has terrible interiors. The lever to open the hood (bonnet) is on the wrong side but that is a minor irritant since you don't need to open the hood that often. The button to open the boot, however, is placed very thoughtfully on the dashboard itself and provides for easier access.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I own a Honda City (i-VTEC), so my comparison is basically based on my experience with Honda City's petrol engine and my brother's Swift Dzire.
Even though I am used to driving a Honda City, I didn't find Figo that diffcult to drive. I did manage to stall the car a few times but that is because I expect the Figo to pull ahead at low speeds even on 3rd or 4th gear just like Honda City. The performance on highway is decent and the car is quite stable even at high speeds. The gearbox is quite slick (obviously it is not as good as Hond City's) and I have had no issues with it.
Ride Quality & Handling Overall ride quality is good and so is the handling. You don't get thrown around on bumps and you get a feeling of a stable and bigger car. I had some concerns over Figo's ground clearance but no issues so far.
Final Words If you need to decide between Swift, Beat, Liva and Figo, then Figo would be your best option.
Beat => Just too cramped and is basically meant for two people only.
Liva => Cheap and terrible interiors, no option to install speakers in rear doors, spedometer console is in the center and is kiddishly designed.
Swift => Very much over priced for the features they provide. I think Maruti is just cashing in on their brand loyality.
Areas of improvement Audio system is not as good as compared to Honda City's but then I am comparing cars from two completely different segments.
Value for money car, solid built, spacious boot, nice interiorsAudio system is just about average
