Buy this car if you want good VFM

Exterior Well, The figo is not an immediate eye catcher. The side profile is fantastic to look at. The front is not attractive at first, but the design grows on you and then you like it.The rear is good.High mounted lamps offer god view for cars coming at the back.  the front and the rear bumpers are nicely designed. the protruding wheel arches give the car a muscular look. roofline looks aerodynamic. overall the exterior of this car is above average.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is figo's trump. The car offers amazing amount of space to all its occupants and for the luggage too. The factory fitted music system sounds fantastic with auxillary port. The plastic quality used in the dash is average, it can be improved by ford. The doors are solid and open wide , so that its easy even for XXL SIZE ppl. The seats are really comfortable for long journeys. Placement of the bonnet opening lever on the left side is not a good idea. The A PILLAR restricts vision severely when we are turning right. overall interior is good thogh not best in clas like VW POLO or HONDA JAZZ. FORD could have done better sound isolation.cabin noise is relatively more when compared to other cars in its class. AC with its 148 cc compresor is clas leading and makes the cabin cold after 15 min, but definitely the best in class.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 alpha series motor churns out 71bhp which is not great. This engine feels more like a diesel engine with a turbocharger. The bottom end grunt is bad and the car really picks up in all gears only after it croses 1500 rpm. sudden overtakes when going at low speeds  are not possible because of this . The gear box is fantastic. The engine seems to be really noisy when revved and produces alot of heat.  fuel economy is bad when compared to other hatches. just 10- 11 kmpl inside chennai city with 50% of ac on. The pick drops heavily when ac is on, owing to 148 cc compressor.

Ride Quality & Handling EXCELLENT. FAR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER CAR IN THIS CLASS. HIGH SPEED RIDE IS SO GOOD. during lane change manouvers, this car is extremely stable. hydraulic power steering is so good. it offers god feedback.

Final Words Buy this car if you want good VFM. SPACE GOOD FOR TALL PEOPLE LIKE ME.
