Ford Figo - Solid, Feature Packed & Reliable

 

Exterior This can matter from person to person , I own a red coloured figo and say it looks just right, Nothing exceptionally great but nothing which I can complain about. A strategically placed roof rail and 15" Alloys with Fog lamps complimenting the head lights could be added for enchancing the looks.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features: All the small features which make driving so much fun and easy. No other car to beat this in this segment. 5 Stars.

Space: 5 Starts...  Comfort: 5 Stars...

People just loved the AC and the music system and the blue tooth connectivity.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance : Superbly refined , no grunts , but lacks power in first gear and not fun to drive in city traffic. An 80 PS enginer would have done a lot good with additional power to gear 1 and 2 for ease of handling in city traffic.

 

Fuel economy I got 12-14 in city ( depending on traffic) and on highway ( Superb road between CBE and Bangalore) got between 18-19. I think fairly good performance on the highway and the car was stable at 145KM/Hr with AC and 155KM/Hr without AC. Beyond this the steering was jerking quite a lot.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Top of the class. Highly comfortable for 5 people travel. 

 

Final Words Excellent car , ford has created a Winner here , only thing needs to be seen is the service now.

 

Areas of improvement  

 15" Tyres can give a little more height to the car and better ground clearance.

Roof Rail can enchance the look  a lot

Fog Lamps complimenting the lights would be fantastic.

Additional 15-20 PS on the engine distributed across gears 1 ,2 and 3
