Exterior Very impressive. Facelift is more impressive than the older version. Exterior gives the feel of a sturdy sedan. It's bulky with more metallic parts, gives the stability & security to the vehicle while driving on high speed.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very reach interior gives pleasure of driving. Lot of features to use while driving like bluetooth connectivity, remote music controls. Excellent leg space for the tall drivers like me.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It booms like MIG 21, gives the feeling like I am flying a fighter plane. Fuel economy is little lesser when comparaing the other hatchbacks of this segment. But it is quite obious as the kerb weight of FIGO is approx 100 Kgs more than the other hatchbacks and equal to sedans. Moreover LUXURY needs some COST.
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome... Auto door lock is a very nice feature.

Here I come again with the review with so called the COOL car 'FIGO' purchased in the month of April 2012.
I drove Hyundai GETZ Prime 1.1 GLE before (5 years) and wanted to change to a Diesel car as I drive a minimum of 12,000 KM/Year. Here is the review of GETZ on carwale that was a GEM. If Petrol prices were not so rocketing, I would have still kept it and I damn miss it!

Life has to go on. So I chose Figo after dropping I20 for its price-Beat for its space-Punto price, cheap material & ASS, Micra (not so keen), Liva no looks and bad interiors, Polo for cost and ASS.
Is anyone wondering why no Maruthi's here? Somehow I feel being a local car maker they can really give a VFM car which they are not doing. At least international car makers are making an effort in this area.
Coming to FIGO, purchased it from Cauvery Ford, Bangalore... nice experience, delivered the vehicle on time. I chose EXI over ZXI (Sacrificed the tilt steering that I enjoyed with GETZ) as cost difference was high but I negotiated the following updates. I guess I got them for a reasonable price.
- Body coloured mirrors & handle.
- Chromium finish.
- Centre console.
I choose a package that gave the following.
- Ford DVD player with Bluetooth, USB & AUX support.
- Engine guard.
I have already crossed 14,000 KM with my Figo.
Exterior Not so much to say... the Fusion, Fiesta and Figo all are lookalikes from quite a few angles! But I surely would say Figo has a decent finish as far the looks. It could have had a bit stronger body. Also the paint is quite a thin layer. Surely I won't call this VFM. The aerodynamics is quite good and the vehicles seems grounded.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Usage of space is arguably good. I have driven the car almost for a year now and following is what I feel.
Bads first...
- The black dash reflects a lot on windshield.
- The horn. First of all it is single tone and I think I hear the honk more than for whom I honk it.
- I think I took center console for a sole reason that otherwise there will be void. The console & Gearbox could have been one piece making it more FIXED to the floor.
- The center console is shaky and it does not hold anything except some lose items that you can put just below the hand brake lever.
- The console below dash... the cup holders and other space is not so intelligently designed for its optimum use.
- Traces of left hand drive setup is surely for cost cutting (light and wiper controls and bonnet opener).
- Same latch to open the door lock and the door!!! Means you can open the door while the vehicle is in move. A kid can easily open the front co-passenger door (not the rear doors as child safety lock is provided... but unless you forget to lock it).
- The controls are not so crisp (light and wiper).
- The ORVM control (rubber) will easily come off to reveal the liver inside. I mean the design could have been better in here.
- 2 trip meters were quite needed. Only one is provided and little difficult to reach this control at least while driving.
- I feel I hear the outside noise on higher side when window glass is up.
- About the player... The random/shuffle selects the same songs from different folders...every time I switch to shuffle!!
From an X folder it selects song Y every time. Even if I skip to next song sometimes it selects the same again. I feel it makes sure I hear what it wants. By the way, I have some 15 folders and more than 1000 songs in 8 GB storage.
Now Goods...
- The passenger space plan is well thought.
- Super cool AC.
- Nice suspension.
- Seats are comfortable.
- Rear seats can accommodate 3 moderate persons easily. They do not rub shoulders.
- The boot opener switch placing is good and providing the same in the key is very well thought & the big boot itself.
- AC vents, nice design and air flow can be controlled as you need it.
- The roomy feel due to large windows and windshield.
- The driver visibility is excellent (compare with POLO one can see the difference for sure).
- DTE is good feature to have.
- After you hear the reserve beep & signal comes up you hear it again when DTE shows around 30KM. Nice way to remind.
- Foldable rear seats that go flat to get more stuffing space in the boot.
- Central locking activated when vehicle picks up above 7KM speed.
- Bluetooth Mobile connection can keep traffic cops away J.

Exterior Ford Fiego has a good looking exteriors. it has a smily look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfortable with large boot space, rear window glass shouldn"t be half open,it should get deep down. Music system is good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up is O.K but Engine is little noisy. One can feel the noise inside the cabin but differs with the change in acceleration/speed.Fuel economy is average,should have been better, gearbox is smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Overall Trouble free.
Final Words I purchased this model after reviewing the comments,studying all comparisons and by test drive of.Now, I had completed 5700 km run. The Ford had furnished almost all possible features in this model that too in the competitive price. It has the best driving comfort, Boot space and comfortable inner space for the three in back seats with stylish look.
The only two things I think needs improvement. The ground clearance should be increased considering humps on Indian roads.This car is really best in its class and segment.I feel like competitors had been left behind.

Exterior I like the exterior very much (that's why one would buy a car, this is subjective).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The space is good. Boot space is the largest amongst Swift, Ritz etc. The knee room is quite good even on the rear with the front seat fully extended to the back. However, seating 3 people at the back is okay, but not so comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine / gear box combinatino is quite good. You get good torque / pickup at most of the speeds. The focus I feel is on giving low end torque to start / climb a hill etc.. when driving 'off road' / potholed roads, i can feel that Ford has put all of its experience from Ford Endeavour in calibrating the gear ratios and matching it well with the engine. Hats off to Ford engineers for this particular aspect.

Final Words Great value for money. I have a diesel and the fuel economy is so good that I can travel to my hometown either in a Volvo or my Figo with the same expense. (The expenditure of transporting one person in Figo is nearly equal to transporting one person in a Volvo / Shatabdi).
Areas of improvement Rear window. Make it open fully; and give an option for power window.

Areas of improvement They have to improve in ground clearance, and milage, Ford charged heavey cancellation charges on booking cancellation, they charged 1% of ex show room price, I have very bad experience fro CARGO FORD GANDHINGAR, GUJARAT, the charged 6500 rupees as cancellation charges and they give me back my money after lots of complaint after 30 days, no body care about customers problems, once they sold their car then the ball is in your cot, after sales they are very unresponsible. I advice to all my friends and relatives that please don't buy any car from ford, beware from this American company.

Having a slight feeling that fuel efficeincy is low.
With a perfect gear box which easys our driving at low or high speed.

No other cars can be compared in the segment , if we are riding in a sporty way with super handling. When using the car at city roads , feeling a sligt tight at the steering rotation.

I have spend my 3 days at my town to buy a second car. Visited showrooms of Toyota ETIOS Liva , Nissan Micra , Chevrolet Beat , Indica Vista and also Indias most wanted Maruti Suzuki .
In these three days time I received more than hundred calls from all dealers except Ford with many offers. But from Ford I received only one call as a reminder , which felt me feel that Ford executives are confident enough.
Also the formal after sales luctures and the details of service centre , all these things was new to me , I have not seen such a time when I purchased vehicles from Tata or Maruti Suzuki.
And the service centre also was good and caring us with a good support through phone.
Finaly I can tell that - You can purchase this car without spending time to check Feedbacks from public. You are paying for the right product , right price.

I feel there is only one thing and that is headlight when used in DIM mode making a poor vision 😦

Hey guys, This product called Fpord Figo is awesome. but never pruchase it as the service of dealers specially in Mumbai is so so bad. you are tired of just calls from them , repeat the same problem to 4 people and then also the problem is not solved. car is delivered after service in most shabby manner. Also if they tell u that they shall pick up the car again in 4 days, it shall actually be 2 months and you shall have to follow up not they. They pick your car in the afternoon and then say they shall deliver the next day. The estimates of service are wrong. They just try to call and ensure that you give good feedback, They do not do anything if there is a not so good feedback
In all a very bad experience 3 times , Never purchase a FORD car in India though the product is better. You shall have to beg for good after sales service for very basic things

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors are very well designed. Though it hasn't got remarkable features it can satisity you with rare features like boot opening on the dashboard, small storage spaces, superb music system etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This is where the PETROL FIGO lags behind compared to other car's engine performance(1196 CC 1.19 L duratec Engine).The pick up is okay when there is descent amount of load inside the cabin with no A/C but the pick up goes Down very badly when the cabin is filled with 4-5 normal size adults a\or when the A/C is on 😦
The most important factor considered in the Indian small car market is the FUEL ECONOMY - This car clocks about 8.5 kms in city traffic conditions AND 16 KM -highway raods.
Gear Box is so much fun,it is so smooth, crisp and very well placed.
Ride Quality & Handling Very Good.
The car stays planted on the road, you can drive at high speedswith full confidence. The steering is very responsive and light.
Final Words It is a great car to buy considering all the PROS mentioned above if you dont care too much about Pick Up and Mileage. IT is definitely a value money car in which you will really enjoy.

Exterior Ford Figo has not only revised interiors but also for the exteriors which is more stylish, trendy, gorgeous and muscular.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Figo comes with an excellent and innovative engine in which we can find a difference while driving. It is not an ordinary engine and it is totally different from other engines. Actually the engines are refined and efficient but the diesel engine is better while comparing with the petrol.
Maximum power of about 70.03 BHP @ 6250 RPM and the maximum torque is 102 NM @ 4000 RPM.
Ride Quality & Handling Able to keep mobile phone, water bottle, coins in the storage spaces.
Final Words The figo generates a healthy mileage for both petrol and diesel versions in which the petrol version offers 12.3kmpl in urban roads and 15.6kmpl on highways. Similarly, the diesel version of figo offers 17kmpl in city roads and 20kmpl on highways which is quite good. Good for city driving.
Areas of improvement Could attach air bags with it them it will be excellent.
