This car is simply too good.It has top class driving coupled with good fuel economy .It is a sturdy safe and trouble free car.It needs very little servicing and just keeps on.Ford has kept price on high side but then you have to pay for quality.Driving characteristics are excellent in city use as well as highway use.top fuel economy,excellent engine,gear box,suspension and interiorssomewhat expensive

I have the pleasure of using  Ford Ikon ZXI Nxt for some years now.It is excellent car to drive and keep.It gives total control of the road with its superb brakes ,suspension,steering,horn,head lights,fog lights in front and rear.It takes care of  pot holes and speed breakers without any disturbance to car or occupants .It gives fuel economy of 13 in local driving and 15 on highway.The car  is totally trouble free and maintenance free .I  have driven SX4,Verna Petrol and Diesel,Fiesta 1.6 and Diesel apart from Honda City.This car is the best handler and most user friendly with top class interiors and ergonomics.It is asd Ford is not focussing on a gem of a carVery good comfortable,stable and sturdy reliable carFord is not focussing on its sale and is trying to sell Fiesta in preference

I bought this car 1 month ago and amazing exp. so far. Its mileage is great(17 in city conditions and 22 -23 on highways A/C on). Its very stable ,I have swift dezire as well but I think Ford Ikon 1.4 TDCI is more powerful but little noisy inside as compared to Dezire. .. Well I want to share few things with people who are going to buy diesel cars either Swift or Ford Ikon.... Diesel engines are slightly costlier to maintain after you have 65,000 kms done . Normal Paid service of Ford is around Rs 2,400. Good thing with ford is that they manufacture their own diesel engines. Maruti use to purchase engine from Fiat earlier and now they are purchasing from Volx WAGON..Volx wagon engines are very costly to maintain.good mileage, stable on high speeds, great power, good interiors,rear seat not comfortable for 3 people

I have driven this car at very high speeds yet it has returned milage  of  more than 15 with ac. I have taken it for long distance travelling many times without any hitch.It only needs  just the regular servicing,and no other care is needed.Engine power is good enough to climb mountain roads with full car load and ac on at speeds of 50 -60.A bad road or speed breaker has never touched its belly.

You have to drive this car to know why it is the best in this categoryonce you get used to it no other car is good enough

I wrote my earlier review on 3rd and I am encouraged by the response it has got(3 commments,170 views).It shows the popularity of Ikon ZXI NXTIt is therefore that I am writing this to share my feelings about this car.Many times I just drive around in this car without any work, but just to get the invigorating and relaxing experience of driving this car.The interiors are so good that they simply pamper you and the drive is like adrenalin injection,I simply love this car and would like answer any queries about itZXI NXT is very high on quality and user comfortthis model did not sell in large numbers due to very high cost

this car is overall very good. its good in price, performence, interior, exterior, in fule eficiency, good suspenction, good colours, fully stylesh, fully ruf n tuf, better spacious. its driveing is very comfort.good fule economy, stylesh, good performence overall its very goodatrective interiors, good speacious, good looking

well this car is same IKONas before.it was responsive car right from its evolution.the responsive ROCAM  engine is still the best,exiting to drive.it has lost the chunk of its power .for a passionate driver this car was like an icing on cake,but dissapointed as i was to see its top speed cut down by almost 35 kph.the car has a good midrange torque.the 1.3L responsive SOHC engine is good but runs out of breath if reved hard.the good old 1.6L is still the best.the car has typical pointy feel to it,fun for a guy like me who would push the car around the corner.the car has good pick up from start line.it can even take on likes of skoda octavia if given in proper hands.it has good decent interiors well mounted steering column.the new ikon has been given sporty looks,but it looks more of a flair.the version which i loved was 1.6    nxt   zxi.it was damn good with killer looks.the fuel economy had made this car unfavourable for most of us but if u are passionate about driving then ikon is still the best.please ford guys ,bring back 1.6   L.all in all a great sporty car to have.still cateye looks,sporty spoiler,magnificant colourssame designed interiors,FUEL ECONOMY IS STILL SAME

I owm a Ford Ikon Flair since the last 2.5 years and have covered above 80000kms till now.

I have not faced any major problems till now, the suspension is strong and it can last till 100000kms.

The only major issue faced till now is the milage, it delivers me around 10-11kmpl which is very less as i drive a lot in town and on highways. The poor resale value is a big issue if the car is financed. Make sure before purchasing the car that how long you need to keep the car with you.

Rear seats Comfort and strong bulit.Milage is an issue for people who drive a lot. Delivers around 10-11kmpl in normal driving condition

If you're going for a sedan for the 1st time Ikon may probably be the best option for you.Time tested ford's josh machine won't let you down if you fuel economy,bit power, not too much speed,priced at 5L,200cubic centimeters less than its surving compeatator accent. If you are a german car lover this machine would also impress you with indicators n lights on the left n'wipers on right.Doors have a unique masculin sound when you close them. The key system is also cool can't be easily copied.The central locking system sounds lyke the rods inside a safe have shifted towards the walls giving a sense of safety. Driving on the overdrive gear with a constant speed would give you 12.5kmpl in city.The air-conditioning is satisfactory,adding a good music system would make it heaven for music lovers.The car comes with fog lamps,body coloured bumpers,etc as standard accessory n u may call it fully loaded at time u purchase it. Derz'1 small disadvantage as da boot needs to be opened with the key until u spend extra on it,the fuel lid remains connected wit the central locking n'no lever 4 the fuel lid opener.The car dosen't have a chassis & the components are kept on the foundation thus, making it a lightweight car. But it has its own disadvantages too,lyke poor highspeed handling etc. A few aftermarket components lyke a sunroof,air intake kit , alloy wheels might make it more magnificent. Go ahed catch 1 n'find more yourself.Excellent steering response,masculin feel,accleration,comfort,braking.Small legroom(rear),on-road high speed stability,inside rear view unlike other sedans,
