4.0 Exterior | 4.0 Comfort | 4.0 Performance |
5.0 Fuel Economy | 4.0 Value for Money |
Purchased my Figo Diesel Titanium in Jan 2014.
This is my first car, have driven around 28000 Kms and I am pretty much satisfied with my experience till now. It is surely value for money car for this segment.
Exterior
Pros
Exterior style is classic, I like it,
Sea Grey color gives a royal and unique feel.
Impressive Alloy Wheels, Nice improved grilles.
Cons
With highest seating capacity, becomes difficult to drive on bad roads, suspension takes it down with its weight carrying capacity and car gets hit on speedbreakers.
Headlamp light is not so powerful.
Less height makes it smaller compared to its Competitors.
Number plate is not fixed properly on Bootlid, which makes a rattling noice.Looks like a wrong fixation strategy. Went on to complaint at the time of servicing, they did not have any solution rather than adding an adhesive tape between plate and Bootlid to avoid it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Aesthetics are good, could have been better.
Gap and flush are better compared to domestic cars.
Riviera Blue colored Instrument panel gives a feel good factor.
Shape going from Instrument Panel central area i.e. from Air vents to console could have been better shape [More curvy rather than box]
Vent shapes and its features on Instrument panel are nicely designed.
Nice red light background effect on Instrument cluster meters and gauges, audio control displays.
Release switch for Luggage compartment placed near Instrument panel is very ergonomic, avoids bending everytime to open Luggage Compartment.
Love the Cabin space and boot space.
In Luggage compartment, Bumps given on wheel arch position could have been smoothly merged at top,
Still width wise and height wise, its great.
Powerful climate control system . No problems with bluetooth connectivity.
Cons:
No power window for Rear Seat even for highest variant.
For Audio control features provided near Steering Column : pressing/pushing away is not a problem, pressing towards driver is uneasy. [Specially volume buttons ]
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine power is good.Very good pick up.
On highways, its great to drive with high speed.
Mileage is around 20 which is good. With heavily loaded capacity, need more efforts on brake systems. After shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, feels like need more power to accelerate, and becomes little hard while reducing the speed only from 2nd to 1st.
Ride Quality & Handling
Comfortable ride. Hardly any vibrations even on high speeds.
As being a Diesel car, takes more leg effort for pushing pedals, which is quite typical.
Final Words As the title mentions, with this much of price, you get value for money car.
Areas of improvement
1) Working on improving weight carry capacity for suspension to avoid bending down.
2) Giving power windows for Rear Seat.
Good Mileage,Good Cabin and Boot space, Excellent AC, Best price car in the segmentNo power windows for RR seat,Need better suspension, Headlamp Light not powerful
