Exterior
Looks are always subjective, so I will not brag much about it.. but to give you a brief looks slowly get over you.. my initial impression of figo on road was wtf.. but then saw it in showroom and felt OK about it.. and post every look its exterior just grew on me.. I felt its d prettiest vehicle on road.. so observe closely, this is an amazing vehicle..
vs - Swift / Ritz
Initially when swift came into market people were raising eyebrows about it.. some liked it and others just hated it.. same goes for ritz as well. either you will like or you will not.. but there's nothing like that with figo. you wont find many admirers on road nor will anyone detest this vehicle for its exterior.. its something which will go well with anyone and everyone.. unlike swift / ritz.. (fyi i already own swift vxi!!)
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
This is the place where figo scores really-2 high over its maruti competitors or even premium hatchbacks should feel shameful from this..
Features wise it is wonderfully functional car which swift / ritz too are ok.. but when it comes to packing a punch figo score high.. be it bluetooth connectivity, auto central lock @ 7kmph, seat height adjustment or joystick like OVRM adjustment...
Space for the passenger in figo is better of that swift for sure (being owning one). and post my test drive of ritz, space in figo seems light years ahead of ritz...
You dont feel if you are driving on indian road when in figo as it utterly disregards any bad roads which are a lot in gurgaon.. while in swift / ritz you are also comfortable but these cars do make you aware of any bad roads.. but figo takes it on with you thinking over, if you are on same roads only!!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Havnt driven much. but at around 100 Ks performance and gearbox look amazing. ws drriving swift earlier so benchmark was high but did not feel much of a difference.... I will update on fuel economy after driving 1000+ ks... OK I will give it here, that only on performance wise (pickup and acceleration) swift / ritz score a bit higher on figo.. this wont hav ne impact in city driving but on highways if you are agains swift / ritz starting at same point.. thn they might move ahead by a couple of seconds due to high pickup / accelerations.. but don worry dat can always be neutralized by top speeds!! where there isnt much difference.. and you will feel more confident in figo at higher speeds due to aerodynamics and low stance than in other two cars.. so you may not start favourite but will surely win the race!! :) also fyi.. figo has 1.4 duratorq engine while swift / ritz have 1.3 engines only...
Ride Quality & Handling
I was not aware but now I know for sure there is a difference in ride quality of indian / japanese and us / eurapeon vehicles. indian / japanese cars are made to address "many" objectives due to customer mind set, but us / european cars primary objective is "customer" and you can feel dat in figo.. handling and ride quality is amazing. though on handling swift / rits also are amazing but on ride quality figo certainly scores notches high over the two.. sit in a figo and then in swift / ritz on the same bad road and you will clearly feel d difference...
Final Words
Guys looking for a good VFM "diesel" car go for this.. sit inside it.. drive it. feel it and you will know the difference...
Areas of improvement
dealership as expected needs to improve for ford vis-a-vis maruti.. no doubt about dat.. but then there's counter to dat. if you not gonna use this service much (10000 / 1 year), so for having great 364 days, I am ready to make relative sacrifice of 1 day.. also figo being 80% made in india, parts are not gonna cost more than that of maruti..and in actual comparison that I did, overall after sales service cost of ford figo is coming lesser than that of maruti..

When I first saw the baby ford really was impressed by the looks, style, low profile of the car. After taking a long test drive almost @ 50kms I came to some of the following conclusions. Since I have to choose either figo or ritz petrol ...
Interior: The features are worth mentioning. good leg-room, good drivers view, comfartable seating for 4 (5th is accomodated somehow), good suspensions, good co provided music player with bluetooth for phone (is really useful), plastic parts at interior would have been still better. More importantly the drivers seating position & controlling the vehicle is very good. Rear window doesn't come down fully therefore no power-window provided for the same but then its ok since nowadays everybody is driving with AC on.
Exterior: Looks really good from all the angles, nice quality colors, but when you open the bonnet you will be surprised to see the heavy use of plastic material & its really worrying in the long run because there is absolutely no protection to engine in case of unfortunate frontal collision even with two wheelers. Sales person promptly replied its due to cost cutting measures but I personally felt its very risky. Open the dicky & you will be surprised to see the luggage space it offers, really good.
Engine performance: Petrol Engine is a big let down, very under-power. If you are sitting in 4-5 persons with AC on then you will really curse the engine, absolutely below par performance. Eventually I happen to take the test drive of ritz petrol same day I could make out the difference immediately. I am no technician but I felt compared to ritz K12 engine figo petrol is nowhere. Very harsh, low pick-up etc.
For me it turned out to be sweet & soar expectations from figo. But for me I would prefer ritz vxi becuase in-eggress is good, good interior, smooth gears &b its positioning, above all very good petrol engine performance & good road presence too. My advice to all dear friends if you are looking for petrol go for maruti ritz & if looking for diesel then certainly figo is worth a buy. But BIG NO to petrol version of figo.
Overall good package but petrol engine performance is big let down & to me engine performance matters most. what you say ......

Exterior
The exterior looks are simply superb, the head lights and tail lights have been nicely placed and the kinetice design looks nice and it is very practical also. The aerodynamics are very nice. The flexible bumpers are good for the bumper to bumper drive in metros.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
When you step into the car and take the driver seat it feels like you are sitting in a luxury sedan, the Coral finish in the Titanium is nice but the Black and silver finish looks more decent. As expected from Ford the fit and finish is brilliant. The steering wheel position is good and you may not complain about the lack of tilt and telescope feature. The seats are very comfortable and specially the shape of front seats give a luxury look. The instrument panel lights up decent and the distance to empty feature is very useful. The features like sudden decelaration warning and automatic volume adjustment for music system and blutooth connectivity are very nice and practical features. The remote central loking in the key itself is good to offer as it is mostly seen in the luxury sedans. The AC is very effective and will be good for the India's summers. The rear leg room is good and even a 6 ft person at the rear seat will not complain in long drives. The boot space is huge and will be enough for over the weekend packed trip for the entire family.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
As expected from ford the engine is peppy and does not lack power. It offers good torque in low speeds. The gear box is precise and with good gear ratios for city-highway driving however could have been more smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling
I have driven it at max. 90km/hr and handling was very precised and steering was very accurate and correctly weighted. The ride comfort may be best in class as suspension hardly allows the jurks and bumps to the cabin.
Final Words
Just go and take the test drive and go fida. Best value for money car.
Areas of improvement
Alloy wheels and rear power windows could have been added in this price range. The after sales service still a concern. The way the sale rep. treat is not very professional and impressive in Harpreet Ford (Shalimar Garden-New delhi)

Final Words
I bought a ford figo diesel version on 8 August 2010 despite advise by the wise men advising me not to do so, because of poor after sales. But my idea behind buying the car was that I drive my cars with so much care that I would hardly be sending the car to garage, but for the usual service, for which I took a Total maintance plan.
But that was not to be.. I was proven wrong within a month of buying the car. I bought my car from NCR FORD defence colony. I cant define my happiness when i got the delievery of my car. My car was given a temporary Registration number as my car was to be registered in haryana by the dealer himself.
everything was going so well, till i called those guys at the showroom after around 18-20 days of buying the car regarding the permanent registration. They kept delaying it telling me it will be done in a couple of days, till the temporary registration actually expired after one month. The ex showroom price of my car was 4.77 lacs, so the haryana registration and road tax come to around Rs 5500, but i paid them 8500 as I was informed that the rest goes towards bribing the agent. I paid them 8500 and was expecting that things would go smooth. But that was a wishful thinking as Ford Dealers still do not believe in after sales support. When finally I got frustated and asked them to explain about the delay, I was informed that thought the registration has already been done but it will be given to me only after I pay Rs 2000 more. Though I have already paid the price as quoted by them ( I have their invoice) I am still not getting my registration. This is like you sell a thing at a price and one month after selling it the shopkeeper asks you more money for the same.. The dealer tells me to talk to the agent (at RTO) and the agent asks me to talk to the dealer.
Guys, Trust me Ford dealers will never change. You go to any other brand dealers and you will feel the difference. I didnt trust the advise of wise men and i am paying. Please think twice before investing your hard money in ford. There are many more cars in the market

Exterior
I like the curves FIGO has and this looks like a mini fusion when looks from behind. front is quite gud with full roll over body. Th eonly drawback in it's design is a tapered roof at the back. An inch or two more flatness on the curve could change the image of the Car
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The interiors are roomy in first instance. All the things are placed just at appropriate place except for Boot opener (which is paced at the co-paseenger side0 and the position of wipers and turning indicators (on european standards).
The dash in ebony (black) is gud to feel but not the coral. Thanks to Ford thatthey haven't produced grey interiors (inspite of cost cutting), however i too think that if they produce 2-tone interiors as that of Fiesta - then that would be a class in itself.
The rear window though scroll down to only 40% but a gud airy atmospheric touch has been provided by doing some decent desinging.
The Air con is aboslute chille (and as per my likings :) ).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is not as peppy as of Swift and Ritz but it's neither sluggish. the car is gud and best suited to run in any indian city conditions. it's low end torque is just ok for driving in delhi roads. i TD on patchy roads and the pickup is ok even at speed of 10 in 2nd gear.
The gear shift is a bit messy to start on but later on it's nice to feel the box.
FE as per the sales manager lies in 15-17 but considering the engine and others i think it shoud fall somehwere in 12-14 in city.
Ride Quality & Handling
The ride quality is ok if not excellent. The suspension holds gud on the worst patchy roads (where i did TD) and no bouncy nature is observed at the rear seats as well. The rear leg room is just sufficient for my likings. though the thigh support does feel to be streached a bit more (say may be 1-2 inches)
Final Words
The Figo’s got great big-car feel. The ride is one of the best in class, good at both low and high speeds. It’s very stable at three digit speeds and you can see Ford’s ‘driver’s car’ DNA in it. The steering is light and nicely weighted for city use, though there’s not much feel at speed, it’s still nice and accurate.
The Figo is one of the biggest B-segment cars in India. It’s longer than the Swift, has a longer wheelbase than the Fusion. Interior space is good, but not great, especially at the rear. Still, the seats make up by being very supportive, and seat height and back support are good as well. Rear seat comfort is especially good and Ford has made good use of the leg room under the front seats.
I have booked the 1.2 Zxi on the basis as follows:
(1) Price - 4.31 for Zxi, which lags just ABS / Airbags / 6-way wiper from the top end (i.e.-TITANIUM).
(2) Big boot space in the segment (only exceptionally larger than VW-POLO) - 284 liters---simply WOW.
(3) 2-DIN in built stereo with bluetooth compatibility upto 4 phones.
(4) Height adjustable driving seat.
(5) Good inside fabric.
(6) Exceptionaly strong AC (159cc compressor).
(7) Rear Defogger
(8) Rear Wiper.
(9) Body Coloured outside mirrors.
(10) Body Coloured Door handles.
(11) Electrically outside mirrors (both side).
(12) Radial and tubeless tires on all varients.
(13) Features are same in both petrol and diesel.
Areas of improvement
(1) Lack of automatic climate control in top end as well. - this is essential when one considering the compressor figo stays with.
(2) Rear window should be scrolled down to full - currently it doesn't scroll down more than 40% of the total.
(3) No rear power window.
(4) Suspension is though Ok but could be better - i guess VW-polo is the best hatch in this segment when look for suspension.
(5) No tilt stearing in top end as well.
(6) No Spilt seats in rear.
(7) Bonet opener should be in driver place (rather than at co-passenger side) when considering that boot opener is placed in the dash itself - just below the stearing wheel in right side.
(8) wiper and indicators should be in accordance with RHD. currently they are opposite to the standard conventionals (same in VW-POLO as in FIGO).

Exterior: Great styling with aggresive feature lines. Gives the car an Actice stance...I like the vertical tail lamps, Paint job is excellent, RED color simply rocks...
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Very spacious, Rear leg Space is more than Swift/I10, Even wheel track is more, hence Figo is wider that others, Largest boot space plus you can lift the seat cushion and Fold-flat the back 180 degree, you can easily sleep in that area on long drives.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Smooth gear shifter, No hassles at all, Fuel economy is proven since same engine from Fiesta platform, though actual revirews will come out only after few days/weeks from users, Power and torque is less than Swift Vdi, but that's OK with me, Not that its too low, Diesel pick-up is great.
Ride Quality & Handling: Steering position is just perfect, U feel in total control of the car, Nice pick-up even in 4th gear, very responsive steering.
Final Words: I am definitely gonna purchase this one (Diesel RED Zxi/Exi), Till few months back I used to consider Swift Vdi as the only best option in all aspects, But Figo is a nice option now.
Areas of improvement: Concerned about less Ford dealers in India...Penetration should be more.

I went to Metro Ford Bangalore on the day Figo released 12th March lot of rush in the showroom, all are watching the new baby Figo. On first look it's stolen my heart. On the spot I booked this car and awiting to own it. need to wait 2 more weeks to get the sea gray colour one.
Exterior:- Shape is good and we can see the baanet while driving, that will give you best drive in traffic. Especailly in Bangalore traffic.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):- Nice interiors in multi colours which is good in first look. Space is very good in back seat and boot. Seating is very comfortable for even more than 6" guys also.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:- It is very smooth in and I didn't feel any difference in diesal one. The pickup is almost equal to petrol one and there is no difference if you switch on A/c or off. A/c is very good in few second it is cooling the complete car.
Ride Quality & Handling:- I felt very good on the test drive. I will come back once I own this one.
Final Words:- Real Worth for your Money. The other competetors are not giving this much power and features for this price. Really beter than the best for the Money that we are paying.
Areas of improvement:- Every body was saying regarding the service, but in cities they have some so I think no issues for me, but for small town guys need to check about this.

Ride Quality & Handling
Very comfirtable , suspension is superb and you dont even feel small ditches and big ditches some time one gets suprised that how small car can handle such ditches so easily. Leg room great, Luggague space best in class
Final Words
Ford Figo is value fr money if you compare with other cars in the same segment, earlier was having swift VDI, only problem i was facing in that car was low on space and rattling noises which i was not able to get corrected even after sevrel visists to Workshop. But Figo surprised me even on the rough roads, I am the proud first owner of Ford figo in region ( Punjab, Himachal and J&K)
Areas of improvement
Ford need to expand the service network although they have shown good improvement in that area but to back up Figo hey need to do a lot more in the same direction.
I like the styling, space and most imp blue tooth interface feature of the car, with AC some time you feel that you are putting your effort to gain the pick up.Exterior/Styles

Ride Quality & Handling: smooth drive and you always enjoy
Final Words: guys i check all vehicles first i confused beetween petrol and disel than i meet to various road mechanics and service stations to decide whether to go for petrl or disel finally after ahuge resarch almost 15hrs per day in last 10 days i decide go for diesel than there is confusion beetween figo, ritz, swift, vista quardazet i choose figo it give you every thing luxury image of brand fuel economy and everything

Good shape and nice colours. Front grill and head lights are nicely placed. Back shape is also good with tail lamps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
To day I took test drive at Lathangi ford in Bengaluru.Sales person Mr. Uday was very friendly and explained well with good test drive for about 5kms. Interior colours could have been given beige. Even though colour is not bad. For the price air bags and ABS are worth. Seats should be little broder. Space is comfortable. Really VFM car. For swift Vdi price this car is really worth buying by getting all safety features and comfort. Of course ford tag is there. Don't know about exact mileage, it may give 15 kms/lt diesel in city and 18 in highway.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Very less noicy engine. Good pick up and speed . Gear box is quite smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling
Riding quality is excellent . Handling is very comfortable. Even at the speed of 80kms i could stop the car instantly may be because of ABS.
Final Words
Defenetely a good Diesel Hatch from ford with good pricing from its competetiors.
